Pokemon: A Fresh Start [OOC]

1. What pokemon would you like for your character in the future?
Hmm, I don't know... I want to use pokémon I normally wouldn't in an RP and make Ashton make up interesting strategies with them :3 Cryogonal, Larvesta and Octillery will probably be his main fighters, with Aipom being his mascot buddy. I'm not sure about keeping Deino and Zubat on the team. We'll see if a nice electric or psychic pokémon comes along and perhaps I'll switch them out :3

2. What do you think should happen when somebody throws a pokeball at an already captured pokemon?
Yeah, bouncing off would be fine.
 
Hey guys, I'd been hoping to be able to post by now although it appears I won't be able to until about January 10th due to a combination of RL, school starting, and freakin' skyrim.

I'm sorry for not posting this sooner, I kinda saw this coming but I was sort of in denial… :\
 
Sorry for not having posted yet :x I've planned out the first part of the post, but I really don't have any idea of what kind of things to throw at Ashton and his gang on the mountainside... maybe I'll just write a boring non-adventurous post.
 
I'm back guys :D. Sorry for the double post and can't wait to see when those little critter will appear in the rp :. When will the next chapter be up?
 
Scratch my last post. It's turning out quite... different from my regular posts, but interesting xD I hope.
 
@Drunk: Thanks for letting me know. It's alright, I'm in much of the same predicament, and activity seems to have slowed down a little anyway. I do hope you won't fall too far behind though.

@Romdinner: Next chapter will be up when a few more people have caught up, but most likely somewhere by the end of this week.

@RHCP: Oh it was definitely interesting, I found it quite enjoyable C: You should post here to tell me which of Aipom's moves you'll delete for Fury Swipes, if you will.

I got to tell you I'm a wishy guy. But I'm smart enough to not say: "I want LEGENDARIES!" Anyways, I would like a canine pokemon for Richard, probably Growlithe or Poochyena, not sure. And a Dark type for sure, which is also Poochyena. So, POOCHYENA FTW!

All right, thanks for answering to this question, everybody. I saw from one RP that a pokeball touched the caught pokemon and caught it... So, I couldn't decide about it. So, Merci Beaucoup!
 
I probably won't post until Wednesday or later. I've got a big exam then, and posts for this RP can be a bit tedious to make.
 
That's alright, I'll probably post the next chapter one of these days as well. And I can understand that such long posts can be quite tedious.
 
But for chaptered RPs like this, it's somehow more alright if things go slow than for RPs with shorter posts, I think. Naturally, since posts take longer to write.

I was thinking not to have Ashton battle in the next post, because battling seems to be all he does -.-' Can pokémon get levels even if they don't battle? Obviously, since Caesar got one in the last post. I'll try writing something non-battlish but pokémon-ish :3 Tomorrow.



EDIT: Or maybe tomorrow (thursday) :B My boyfriend is treating me tonight after our exams~ no time for pokémon roleplaying then ;)

That's a tough one, when it's a non-battle post, I'd only give levels i fthe Pokemon involved actually actively do something that might give them experience or otherwise make stronger or more skilled. With a battle post I usually give all the Pokemon involved levels, even if they don't really battle, lke Caesar.

As for the roleplay, I suppose it's good that it's slow right now as I'm supposed to be studying xD
 
Haha, sorry. I'm done with my exam now, but I'm a bit busy today. Might write a post within the hour or so, but if I don't then it might be up tomorrow instead.
 
Well, it sucks to say this, but it looks like I'll have to step away from this RP. I really liked it, but I've had a horrible writer's block the last few days, and I don't really know what I want to do with my character at this point.

I'm sorry about this. It was fun while it lasted, and I wish you all good luck with the RP.

And I apologize again for not posting. I know I'm being so slow, but RL is bothering me too much. I also have a huge algebra, medicine and chemistry competition this Saturday, so I'll be out for some time and occasionally visit PC, hopefully with a decent post for Fresh Start. Anyways, I'm sorry and I'll post sometime.
 
I'm hoping the new chapter will be up soon :3 I don't know how many are ready for it, but I think I am.

Also, my post became a battle post after all xD And for once, Astrid wasn't sitting on Ashton's shoulder.

@Red - It'll be up soon, maybe tomorrow if all goes according to plan. As for your post, it was a creative battle post, which is always appreciated.
