I gotta agree with Xatoku. There's nothing inherently bad about remakes, but you ought to change something about the game. Change the storyline, add some new features, or give the player new areas to explore. No-one who is realy fond of G/S/C will bother to download your remake and get used to new graphics, and those who are comfortable with Gen III and IV games will want something more in tune with the times, with new Pokemon and better tiles.

I was gonig to go into that direction ,but I decided to go for a new region. My fakemon, however ,looks exactly like the Sugimori style.

Its not critiquing the hack at all.
 
I mean seriously though, I have doubts that he's changing much because the rival says the same thing except he's just Brendan's sprites. If that's the direction that you're going in by "changing the game" then I don't expect much, and I recommend most of you don't get your hopes up on this hack. Don't assume the tone I speak this in and react unethically but I think you need to change alot more than just sprites, perhaps change your main character sprites and a new tileset? This game just looks like any other G/S/C remake. Nuff said.

First of all, thats a preview screenie, and the rival won't be Brenden, it was a temporary sprite.
Maybe you should wait for the hack to develop first, before posting those comments because they are kinda hurtful.

Im going to have a look at Pokémon Neon now, Im going to see whats wrong with it, and what to make fun of. Then maybe, you'll know how it feels.
 
It seams like you just changed Shiny Gold to a horrible hack based of the pictures. I mean "It looks like this tree can be HEADBUTTed!" I mean that is terrible. Just try to be a bit more original.

It has something special about it.
