I just trained my new shiny espeon nicknamed kt to lv 50. His stats are okay but I noticed something very peculiar. Kt's sp. atk at lv 50 is 196, the same number in the pokedex for Espeon! I thought that was kind of cool. Has anyone else have crazy coincidences in the world of pokemon?

Two members of my main Black team, Samurott and Sawsbuck both have the same nature and characteristic:

    Both have a Serious nature

    Both are "Strong willed".

Both Gabite and Druddigon are both the known in the pokedex as the cave pokemon both the odd thing is only one of them apper in a cave

I've noticed a coincidence between this:

    ... And this:

    They sound completely identical!

They are similar. Not identical. These are identical:

    Spoiler:

Anyway, the most coincidental thing...gosh, I know I've had some weird ones, but I can't remember them. :|

The most I can think of is similar to this, only it was like...three Pokemon in a box lol. And they were, oddly enough, all next to each other.

If I can remember the really weird ones I had, I'll come back. :(

I can relate to that coincidence as well. Once I was breeding, female had an everstone to pass the nature down to the egg and three eggs hatched in a row, same nature, same personality, and the crazy thing was it was a different nature from mom.......

I don't know if it's a coincidence or just that the game hates me, but I was breeding for different IV's and I got the same Nature and Description for 3 Dratini's in a row. Plus the all had terrible IV's.

I once had an even bigger coincidence concerning this. The first five i bred had the same nature and personality, and they were all different pokes! (this was when I started breeding before I learned the importance of those and ignored them, so I didn't notice until later, when I saw it in the box)

WOW! Yeah that's huge! I thought mine was weird but 5 different pokemon? crazy!

Well, don't know if you want to count this as a coincidence...

I was trying my luck at breeding a shiny Pokemon using the Masuda method, hours past and I had no luck... (I was trying for a Zorua by the way).

Then I received a message from a friend that he wanted a Nidoran (f), So I got a Nidoking and Queen and placed them in the daycare (both are owned by me) and waited for a couple of eggs to show up.

Began working on hatching these eggs, the first Pokemon that hatched out was a Nidoran (f) and it was shiny! lol

That's what I call a lucky coincidence! lol

The biggest coincidence that ever happened to me was I was trying for days to chain a shiny voltorb in my diamond. I eventually got bored and decided to work on getting bp from the battle frontier in soulsilver. First pokemon I fight? Shiny voltorb. :( I then proceeded to cry.
(I did eventually chain it though.)

I remember that day, February 1st 2012. A big moment for me in Black.

I was taking my Zangoose with me to Twist Mountain, it was summer and I was wishing I might see another Cryogonal after running away from one 5 months prior. I went into Twist Mountain, wild Pokemon shows up and it was a Cryogonal! I eventually used False Swipe on it and caught it. (It was a pain though, it took me 8 Dusk Balls to catch it). Now I am so proud I finally caught one 5 months after last seeing one.

Also another day I remember, October 14th 2011.

I was going to catch Reshiram to take on N's Zekrom and I was hoping for a good nature. I caught Reshiram and after the battle against N and Ghetsis I checked its status and I went "I can't believe it!" after discovering my Reshiram had a Modest nature. I feel so happy that it got the perfect nature, first time ever that the version's legendary I caught in any Pokemon game to have a beneficial nature.

Okay I just remembered the best one. Back when I was doing my Hall of Fame challenge, I would train in the Giant Chasm. I was talking on MSN with Karpman and I said something like, "Man, I train here all the time. You think I'd find a shiny at some point. Metang would be awesome." and an hour later...well obviously a gem of a Pokemon showed up. I think I blogged about it, haha. I caught it, of course! Still have him. His name is Liam. Or well, its. It is genderless so lol.

I was looking up a walkthrough on how to find Kyurem, and when the guy on Youtube encountered a Lunatone, I encountered a Lunatone too.

There have been some but I can't really remember them, on Pokémon XD Gale Of Darkness 3 of my Pokémon were all the same level with the exact same amount of HP (86) I thought that was kinda strange.

Went into Challenger's Cave in Unova and battled a veteran that had the same pokemon as me!

    Totally unexpected...

I guess you were talking about Veteran Shaun, who has 6 Pokemon.

Another day locked into my memory: April 5th, 2012.

I was in Chargestone Cave, looking for items in the dust clouds and I was thinking I might run into another Shiny Pokemon (I ran away from a Shiny Boldore in Twist Mountain 7 months prior). I saw a dust cloud, ran into it and *gasp* a Shiny Drilbur pops up! I caught him with a Quick Ball and he has since evolved into Excadrill.

At least that made up for accidentally running from a Shiny Boldore.

I also remember that moment when I was on Route 7, I was walking on the raised walkway and suddenly the grass was shaking and I went "oh my god!" and I was thinking it would be an Emolga there and *boom* Emolga pops up!

The shaking grass was so scary it basically made me want to stop going to Route 7 altogether (although I did catch a Sentret there during a swarm). Due to that, I no longer go to Celestial Tower meaning that if I want another Litwick or Elgyem, I'll just breed it. YEAH, ROUTE 7 OFFICIALLY BECAME MY MOST HATED LOCATION IN UNOVA SINCE THAT MOMENT.

Also, I have all the non-Legendary Unova Psychic-types (Musharna, Swoobat, Beheeyem, Reuniclus, Gothitelle, Sigilyph) and all except Swoobat were female. My Swoobat and Beheeyem even share the same nature (Quiet).

I also remember catching my Gothitelle when she was just a Gothita. I was specifically looking for a female and I ran into this one and I was thinking she may have a +Sp. Def nature. Caught her and she has a Calm nature! I knew Calm was a good nature for the species as they have Sp. Def as their highest stat.

Also, when I started Black and my brother started White, we caught a Lillipup as our first Pokemon and they both had -Attack natures (Timid in my case and Bold in my brother's case).

And something else to point out - my Trainer Card nature in Black is Quirky, my PC nature is Quirky and one of my main Black team members, my Archeops, also had a Quirky nature. So yeah, I'm really quirky, go figure.

I have encountered Shiny Pidgeotto twice in SoulSilver and both times they have fled by using Whirlwind. *facepalm*
