Pokemon Collosseum Remake

I would really like to see a Wii remake of Collosseum. That game was beast. But now my Wii is old (I got it the week it came out!) and it shuts down when I put in my Gamecube controller. It shouldn't be like an official super new release, but one of those Gamecube games where you can use Wii remote for like $30. What does you think?

I'd like to see it (if they did more than just put it on the wii remote like say updated the graphics), but tbh I don't see it happening. Those games being remade on the Wii like Pikmin tend to have a new game style out of it, but with Colosseum? The remote would likely just be used like a normal controller, and no new gamestyle would be offered by changing the controller I feel. =/

IMO, I would LOVE a new shadow pokemon game. I loved Colosseum and XD!

Forget a remake. Remakes aren't always good (HG/SS, FR/LG aside). A new shadow Pokemon game, I'd love. Maybe have it take place in Orre 10 years after XD? The enviornment would be greatly improved (It's getting better if you'll notice between Collesseum and XD) so maybe you can battle wild Pokemon more frequently?

Colloseum was a **** stain to me. Ofcourse, i was huge fan of pokemon back in the day (still am infact i'm playing Pokemon stadium 2 on my N64 right now! D:) and so i went on to complete it. Well actually, i never did. The furthest i got that i can emember is beating the crazy president guyafter many tries trying to beat the tyranitar as i didn't wan to use my master ball on him as i thought i would get kyogre or groudon. Either that or if blowing the snag team place up was after that thats where i last got to. Back to the point I would be disappointed if they remade it. Colleseum was bad enough then they made XD. Man, that was bad.

That would be good if they made a game in Orre ten years later. They should also make a DS game like Diamond and Pearl but in Orre. And wild Pokemon would also be a good idea.

Oh, yeah! Colosseum's graphics were not as good as they could be (great, but not so great).

A new remake would be awesome! (Since I never played Colosseum, so whatever, do it!)

I don't think many fans would jump for joy over a Colosseum remake. That being said, it wouldn't be a very wise choice for Nintendo.

But granted, it did have its moments.

I actually enjoyed Colosseum. I would love a remake. Not a remake specifically, but maybe add another chapter to the game that features Sinnoh and johto pokemon.

I wouldn't mind this if they only changed two things:

    1. For the love of God, speed up the battles. I'd say roughly 80% of the battles in the game was waiting for your turn, and each battle dragged on for at least five minutes minimum.

    2. The ability to just teleport to towns completely ruined the adventure aspect of the game. Honestly, create paths to the towns, make us able to catch wild pokemon in the grass the way Tajiri intended; and give our character the common sense to ride his scooter in towns.

I'm being serious when I say that those two problems stopped this game from being decent, from what I recall I had to tolerate the entire game; there was not one instance where I had fun. I'm personally ashamed that I wasted time I'll never get back into this game, I guess it was worth it in the end getting Ho-Oh and destroying my friends in Ruby. Upon them telling me how cheap I was for using him, I only responded with, "Once you've played the entirety of Pokemon Colosseum, then you can talk to me about fair."

I don't see a Colosseum remake taking off.
Sure it had it's fun aspects.. it was like playing the GBA/GBC games with 3D graphics and a brand new storyline.. and a protagonist that isn't 10 years old for once.
I liked it for the most part, but it isn't something I personally want a remake of.

I think it would be somewhat of a waste of time and money for Nintendo..
Colosseum wasn't as memorable as RBY or GSC, so I can't see the sales for a remake blasting off like HGSS and FRLG did.

    I see your point. Collosseum isn't one of the Nintendo 'classics,' which is why FR/LG, HG/SS and other guys like Mario and the Legend of Zelda are doing so well. I would love to see a Collosseum remake, but I highly doubt it will ever happen, unless Nintendo choose to do so after the 5th Generation (after all, as someone had noted, it's only a single generation old). An XD remake would be just as great, but, it's still quite playable now on the GCN. I still laugh at XD's name XD;

What additions would they add if they were to remake Collosseum and/or XD? How would the Wii Remote fit in with the game? I think it would be cool to just point and click the Wii Remote at the places you'd like to go, the people you'd like to talk to and the commands you'd like to use, setting aside how simple that is. Also, maybe remote-based minigames and stuff would be a nice feature. NAZI ZOMBIES

How about a sequel rather than a remake?
It seems kind of pointless for a remake already...

15 years after XD took place. The character STILL has the dang Lv. 30 Eevee that can't beat a level 2 in battle. Team Rocket has suddenly appeared in the Orre region. It is up to you to stop them. They're using shdow Pokemon. The character is 25 years old. THAT'S THE WORST THING I'VE HEARD IN ALONG TIME! A sequel would be too stupid.

They could give the shadow pokemon concept another shot. The first two were poorly executed imo. It's a decent concept, though.
