Agreed. or pal edit around the bottoms of the trees so it blends, and just doesn't end flat O.o. Also, you should use the HGSS trees instead, seeing as you already have other HGSS tiles in use. Plus, LiquidCrystal has those trees. Not saying that you stole them, just seeing Zeikku's trees in both remakes is awkward xD
 
I guess Original Crystal using Emerald is not too bad.
I love to see the Spanish version anyway. Not too many Spanish Pokemon hacks around.
 
I think you should make the mom script a Map script,because it takes lots of scripting doing it with triggers.If you want,I can type it up for you,just PM me if you want me to.
 
Now that I look there's a lot of things wrong with the graphics of this. Like, overhaul everything. Seriously.

^So what? Scripts don't matter in rom hacks, and Crystal Shards used GBA sprites not HG/SS sprites. Plus Crystal Shards ended ages ago anyway.
Who cares if he got some of his ideas from a dead hack?
 
sam, the hack is going out well I just hope you stick to this one.
Try changing the tree palettes for something that could fit more with the grass palette.
Also changing the female sprite from the begging her head is weird. Anyway, I wish you luck in this.

And....

Crystal Shards is dead, so what if he used the base?
Also, has that person ever thought about he copied the dialogues from an original ROM?

That doesn't mean you can steal another hack's map and scripts, dead or not. It obviously shows someone not having an actual effort for a remake. If he is, which is obvious, using scripts and maps from CrystalShards, he most likely will quit after Azalea, as the only beta ends there(which any players know). All I see this as now is a theivery of CrystalShards with some badly inserted tiles... =/
 
Meh, whatever, with HGSS, the GSC hack remakes will be kinda useless.
That doesn't mean I dispise the remakers work. I really appreciate their effort. Good luck on your projects. ~

Most of them will probably die down, then "original" hacks will begin. I mean, not to dis rom hackers, but there's nothing better than an original creation by Gamefreak. Plus with HG/SS the reasons for G/S/C remakes (i.e. Gamefreak aren't making one) will be abolished.

Whatever good luck on your work, and if you are actually copying Crystal Shards, then just to tell you, the rom will end at Azelea.
Also again people Crystal Shards is dead, who cares whether he steals certain stuff from it? If that's the case then people shouldn't be able to hack into any Pokemon game, because they're technically "completed" projects by Gamefreak, and Crystal Shards is no different. (Except that it wasn't finished)
 
but he still needs permission. -.-. Call me an idealist but it's just good courtesy, and plus, it's against the rules in a way too. How would you feel if you made a hack and released a beta, only to come to find a few years later someone stole all your scripts and sprites, from your hours of work?
 
Looks real nice! You could add some detail to the grass though... But it looks great.

If i had given up on the hack? Left it on the internet, and not gone back to it?
I think I'd be a fool to think people WOULDN'T try to steal from it.
Come on, grow up, it's not like he's used the WHOLE thing. Besides most of the remake hacks have identical scripts and indoor areas anyway. Really at least this hack is using the latest "unofficial" HG/SS sprites/models.
Actually that's the only bit of "stealing" i can see in this hack.
 
Yeah sure, maybe "cristal shards" is died.. but He need the permission of kike scott to use HIS HACK ^^
Or STEAL the scripts..

^Wait...just like how every other hack uses a stolen, illegal rom? Ah it makes so much sense now! (Sarcasm)
People lighten and let the guy do what he wants. For starters if it really is just stolen he'll stop after the first beta.
