The day has come, the day that you can start your journey. But before you go, Prof. Oak calls you back because he needs you to fill up the PokéDex since unkown Pokémon keep appearing in Kanto. You decide to help the old man, and Prof. Oak rewards you with a Pichu. Oak almost forgot to ask you to go to Viridian City for him, to get the latest versions of the Pokédexes. What is the cause of the strange appearing of these Pokémon? Stay tuned for more exciting news of Pokémon's Electric Tale!

Tiles indeed are being used frequently, but they still look good.

I don't think you should've shown screens of a whole script. Just show part of it, that looks interesting...Something that makes it look like "Ooh, I can't wait to play it"

Other than that, it's pretty good. Especially starting out with two Pokemon!
I don't really comment on hacks that often. So you're pretty lucky...not really O_o
