I'm playing this now. I'm not done so I'll go by what I see.

I have no idea why May was changed to Dawn, but if you have a waifu then do what you wish. What I don't get is why Brendan's sprite is the same as OG but Dawn gets a redesign.

The relationship system is not my thing, but seems well implemented. Idk why Dawn likes me despite me kicking her ass multiple times but whatever.. I would prefer, if you made another hack, for most of the relationships be friendly. Nurse Joy and Shellie being in love with you is pretty sus considering they're adults but your hack breh.

HMs being remove is cool asf to me. Great job on that. I like any open world rom hack so good job there too.

Normal mode is tearing my tail up my guy... Why on earth does Roxanne have an Aerodactyl? And Probopass?? Took me 5 hours to beat first gym. Might wanna nerf her a bit. Litwick is pretty weak, and Spheal was trash imo. Boost in stats or better moves might help a bit.

Appreciate lowering the level evolutions.

Bugs: I do the Slateport museum later than usual and am Traveling with Dawn. Dawn sprite appears as Archie and after, she disappeared from the game, I cannot travel with her anymore. I can do the Team Aqua Kyogre capture multiple times.

Pretty good hack. I would prefer a hack that followed the main story closer but with more of your additions. Will stop playing until a new update comes out.

May was changed to dawn because I like dawn more. There are talks to make both may and dawn playable as well as both brendan and wally playable. the largest issue with that is that we don't have a dedicated artist, and wally would need something to the tune of 100+ new sprites.

These are fictional characters, and fictional characters are ageless and cannot be victims in situations like this, because there's no consciousness to consent or not consent. If you don't like it, that's fine bro, you do you. Game is pg13 anyway.

This game is meant to be hard. That's the point.

Updates are released quite often, sometimes multiple in a day or a week. I only update this post with major revisions to the game. If you want to be up to date, join the discord. We have a growing community of 2000+ people.
 
On my way to dewford I battled the person with peeko (started with b I can't remember his name), then I was able to surf onto his boat then I can't go back on land. But nice hack anyway

If you have the waystone, you can use it to teleport away, or if not, open start menu, press select, go through the warnings and use the 'Teleport Home' function.
Just so you know, you don't have to do the game in the vanilla order, and that's not going to help you much, anyways, since we're replaced the vanilla storyline with one that has 3 paths to take.
 
1: It comes automatically some time after you get 6 badges
2: You can find them as rare boss mons (red name in battle) or breed your own at a 10% chance.
3: It comes from the main quest line when you start one of them.

Dont know if this has been said but the shop in oldale town keeps kicking me out so I cant buy anything. Just started so I dont know if this is done on purpose or If im doing something wrong.

It's not available until after you defeat your rival. Like I told the other person, you can get more timely help in the discord server, as I don't look at this thread all that often.
 
Hey, so I have 5 badges, and i decided to use the genetics lab to get perfect Pokémon eggs in Lilycove city. Once I finished ev training my mons, I tried using the Waystone to fly to Forteee for my 6th badge, but it says something along the lines of how I have to finish an event and that it's temporarily disabled. I do not recall getting any prompt to do something story related. The last story related event I did was giving Shelly a necklace to try and woo her. Any idea on how I can reactivate the Waystone? Thank you!
 
Ayee! So i just finished up my play-through, and i must say that i absolutely enjoyed myself. Most definitely a unique take on Emerald. I do have a few gripes with the hack though:

1. Maybe tone down the levels of the Ev yielding mons in the training centre? I found my team getting mad experience to the point where i swept through most of the game till the Elite 4

2. I took the team aqua route, and i kinda low-key wish there were more missions than just the story implemented ones.

3. I know there's a random music option, but I do wish it was split into two:. a) an option to randomise music in the overworld, b) an option to randomise music in battle.
 
Hello, I have been enjoying the game so far but I'm coming across an issue where if I white out I get sent back to the start in new bark town, Ive gone to other poke centres and beaten the gym but it won't set a checkpoint for me. I'm on normal mode currently

This is intentional, you get sent back home when you black out. There are certain boss fights in the main quest lines that, if lost, cause a game over, which will clearly show on the screen. If you get a game over, you have failed that quest and can no longer continue through it. You can do other things like life skills, gyms, e4/champion, etc.
