Leanna had a serene look on her face as she walked down the sidewalks, leading from the institute, which she had grown up in since before she could remember, and had grown to love. But school wasn't so bad either. People just wondered around her strange choice of accessorizing. But nobody even really asked anyway.

Her bag was not slung in the usual style, across her chest, but instead, hung simply off her shoulder, like a purse. Leanna never seemed to find her bag too heavy to sling the style it was. As she examined her surroundings, she noticed Ryan, once again, picking on David. She knew it was David just by looking at him by the gem on his forehead. Apparently everyone but David was having quite a fun time, and Leanna folded her arms. Ryan did this every morning that she saw him and his gang of ugly thugs.

To be honest, Leanna had never really spoken to David, but today, as she watched on, she wondered whether it was really the nicest thing to just stand by. Ryan would probably think David a wimp for having a girl like Leanna defend him. And so confliction raged as Leanna merely watched, her head tilted slightly back as her icy blue lips pursed themselves, her blue eyes narrowing in a glare at Ryan. She hated people being treated unfairly. And she couldn't see whatever Ryan could make fun of about David except his gem.

She was not one to see the bad in anyone, other then those who treated others like the dirt under their feet. Which meant, Ryan himself. So with one hand on her bag and the other hanging at her side, she tread lightly over to the spot and said,

"Don't you have other things to do?" She asked folding her arms, her feet planted firmly on the ground, "Like picking on some nerd to do your homework for you? Or for someone's lunch money?"

Leanna stood behind David, still on the ground as she glared at Ryan. Though it made her feel bad to do something as mean as pin the bully on someone else, but she'd have to deal with that later. If Ryan took the bait, he'd have to spend some time to look for the right nerd. He got zero awards for bullying David from her extent of knowladge. Heck, she didn't even know what Ryan was bullying David on! But as the counselor always said, stick up for your fellow peers. But by bullying someone else, he'd get money, or an A+, but she knew nothing of David himself, so couldn't really answer just what Ryan could recieve besides pleasure.

"......."Speechless, as usual, Ryo witness yet another mushy scene or what was close to it at least. "Why do I always see this stuff...." Ryo thought to himself. Looking at his small watch and it's silver hands, Ryo took a quick run to school, just in case he was late, while avoiding the two... couple as they ran. His cape added some resistance to his run but that didn't worry him.

Upon reaching the school, Ryo gave a sigh of relief, for he was not late, and muttered quietly to himself, "That's the last time I follow them..."

OOC: Ugh. Not my best at the moment.....

OOC: Gah! Figures that this RP shows up when I'm on my G.E.D. pre-tests... Still time for an old miser to sign up? :3

"Aww, the girlie is being defended by a girl!" Ryan chuckled as he began to walk away. I could feel the earth quake as the large brute began to walk away. Well... perhaps that was a slight exaggeration. "Whatever, I don't intend on hurting a real girl, and having you stand up for him has just made my day, so I'll leave... for now." Of course, the rest of the group followed.

Once everything had settled down once more, I turned my head around to get a look at my "saviour", though she just sent him after someone else, which may not exactly be a good thing for that someone else.

Leanna, I think that was her name. I hadn't really talked to her before. Then again, I talked to basically nobody. I don't know what it was, but there was something calming about her appearance, despite it seeming a tad unusual. Not that anyone from our institute didn't seem unusual. Anyways, I stood up once more, and faced her. I quickly bowed and said "Thanks for that", my usual thanking routine.

Sora looked out at the sky while she sat on the edge of the roof of the school building. She had simply jumped into the shadow of a tree and reappeared in the shadow of another tree at the side of the school. Roxas sat beside her and pointed with a paw toward the school doors. "You should go before your late Sora!"

She sighed and closed her eyes as the wind picked up. "Well I guess I could... but it's not like anyone I know is in there..." Sora had just arrived at the Institution three weeks ago, and she had decided not to talk to anyone there. "I think I'm better off being invisible..." She thought to herself. Then she looked back over to the black fox.

"Hey Roxas, are you... are you real? Or are you just invisible too?" He hesitated a moment, then replied with a fake smile. "Well you see I'm kind of... a part of your soul. When you call me from your shadow your actually calling out a peice of your heart, only in a physical form. I'm merely your other half, the half that's always cheerful and happy; ehich is why your usually so depressed. You see, when your sad I'm happy, and when your happy, I'm sad." He put on a real smile this time, mostly to cheer her up.

"But you didn't answer my question! Are you real or not?" she stared at him intently as if waiting to be dissapointed. "Well yes I am real, but I'm not a whole person. I came from your wolf form, which is why I take the shape of a dog instead of a human." Sora nodded grimly.

"Now do you understand Sora? I'm just you, but as a guy, and a little bit hyper!" How can I get along with you so well when we're complete opposites!" She sighed. "It's kind of sad actually... my only friend is myself." With that she slowly jumped down to the ground and slid through the school doors.

Leanna continued to glare after Ryan for a full 10 seconds before wrenching her gaze back to David "You're welcome." She said smiling, unfolding her arms and staring after Ryan again "I noticed he bothers you a lot." She said.

Ryan was definetly not on her good rep list.

"May I ask why he's so interested in bullying you?" Leanna asked, blinking and cocking her head to one side. A gem was a gem, and David wasn't the only one who had one at this school. Not with so many morphs around. What a stupid bully.

She didn't really know what morph David was, just by looking at him anyway. At first glance, he reminded her of an espeon, the gem was a dead giveaway. But-she noticed he wore no purple, or green, signaling either little pride in his morph, or little love for espeon colors. Leanna never attended training sessions. Or, at least, she never actually trained. When she was there, she simply watched, and when she wasn't, she was either cooking, or doing laundry. Fighting was not one of her strong points.

Therefore, she'd never seen many of the people at the institute in their full transformation forms, except herself, which wasn't much different, and Andrea, in his Raichu morph. Other then that, she could only guess, as she was not bold enough to ask that question. She wondered if the gem on her neck was a dead giveaway for her Dragonair blood. Leanna had never given it much thought....

"Yeah, I guess he does seem particularily fond of picking on me." I replied as I bent over and picked up my bike, then put down my kick stand. So I'd be a little late for first class, it'd be my first offense, and I could probably come up with some sort of excuse.

"You're probably thinking he picks on me for this, right?" As I said this, the gem on my forehead began to glow momentarily, the upper half covered by my bangs, my way of indicating I was talking about it. "Well, it isn't. The real reason is... rather embarassing." Following this, I tucked the little bit of hair hanging over my ears in behind them, and pulled my bangs back so that my entire face was shown. "You see, many people think I look similar to a girl, because of both the way my body is shaped, and my face. My face is often called 'pretty', and sometimes I'm even mistaken for a girl. I don't know, I figure I don't really care what they think, but I get made fun of a lot."

Of course, I explained this calmly, quickly, and without too much emotion, seeing as we had to get to school.

I took off after her, though I broke off from the forest and into the small town as soon as I could. There was a wall, a little over my own height. I tapped off of a corner, then to the other wall and pop-vaulted ofer, cutting off across the town. Although the forest presented many opportunities for me, urban areas were more worthwhile to me. I konged over a small rall, into a drop and roll combo that left me moving faster still for a few steps.

Leanna nodded, and remembered that Ryan had called David 'girlie' earlier. It wasn't his fault he had more feminine qualities. And now that the fact had been so blatanly revealed, she supposed he wasn't as masculine as others, but definetly more guyish then the nerds in the chess club.

"I don't think you look-Oh shoot." Leanna brought her hand to her mouth as her eyes widened in shock, "I have to go -bye!" And with that Leanna was off. She'd totally blown the Art teacher off! What was worse, was that Mrs. Kapernick wasn't exactly a friendly teacher. Leanna had only agreed to help because she was also very frustrated that people were mixing the paints, and had agreed to sort out the colors with her.

And so for once in her life, she speeded up the pace, uneager to make the grouchy old lady angry. Though of course, this pace was not as fast as the average teenager could do, but better then her usual sloth like pace. Once Leanna reached the Art Studio doors, she groaned and slapped her hand to her face again. She'd totally been oblivious to the fact that David may have had a first period class, unlike herself. Stupid stupid stupid.

She sighed, and wondered why she was so bold today, so forgetful, and so not Leanna.

"You're late young lady. You said 10 minutes before bell, and it's well past that time." A snippy voice said as an old woman with silver hair pulled into a tight bun wearing sweatpants and a T-shirt used a paint brush to sift out blue from the red bottle. All her clothes were spattered artistically with paint, except for her sweatpants, which remained untouched. Her arms and hands were nearly doused in red, blue, and yellow though, making her look like a monster oozing out the blood of that color.

"Yes, I know." Leanna said biting her lip "I got a little caught up in-"

"Miss Jilt, I would've never guessed you the type to be caught up in socializing, or boys for that matter." Mrs. Kapernick continued coolly, dragging her brush against a paper plate.

Leanna flushed and started, "I wasn't-"

"Come. I'd like you to remove the yellow from the blue, and after that you can help me clean off all the tables. There's an inspector coming in today, and I'd like everything to be sparkling." The old woman said, ignoring Leanna's protests.

Leanna sighed, and sat down, putting on a black apron and starting on the sticky blue bottle, filled with yellow, green, and blue.

OOC: Yay for theme involving pink =D *is shot*

IC: "Er... See ya..." I muttered to nobody in particular, seeing as Leanna had run off so suddenly. I quickly got back onto my bike, and sped towards the school. However, seeing as today just wasn't my lucky day, I JUST missed the end of first period, and it was time for break.

"Psst, David... David!" I heard a voice whisper as I was walking through the hallway in a slump. An arm quickly shot out of a nearby door and pulled me inside, and I found myself face to face with Akijo, the president of our schools Host club.

The Host club, an odd organization composed of a group of 6 boys, each posessing a unique trait that girls seemed attractive. The job of these boys was to basically amuse the girls who request them. By amuse, I mean like talk to them, and such, for money for the school. Not many schools had this club, and I myself found it a little odd. However, somehow, I was the vice president. I didn't mind though, the Host club was really the only place I had fun, be open with my feelings, and where people actually accepted me. Besides, who could resist getting to spend time with girls who actually liked the way I looked?

Akijo got the most requests in our group, mostly because he was rich, and he was one of those obnoxious pretty boys. However, I got along with him well, despite all this, and even though he was a little wierd. Little... thats an understatement. As for the other four members, we'll get to them later on.

"Hey there! You didn't forget that we have Host club this break, did you?" Akijo asked me, as he surveyed me with his deep blue eyes. He then took his right hand, and ran it through his blond hair that was brushed neatly. "Of course you didn't! You are one of the six precious roses after all!" Honestly, is anyone else seeing why I find him odd?

"Yeah, yeah, I didn't forget." I muttered as I fixed a smile on my face that Akijo found 'cute' and put on the Host club outfit: a pair of beige pants and a white shirt, a blue dress shirt overtop with the Host Club emblem etched into the bottom right corner. The symbol was a simple H with a crown overtop of it. Of course, I would never have let anyone from the institute know about my participation in this club, not that anyone really knew me there. Despite my distrust for humans, the members of the Host Club were really the only ones I trusted.

OOC: Updating my profile.

Sora slipped into the school doors and noted that for once she wasn't late. She still felt uncomfortable around all the strange students, so she was always quiet, which was not really how she really was. She wanted to have real friends, but she just didn't have the guts to be herself. "Roxas?" she whispered in her mind. "I think I need someone to talk to right now..." Roxas suddenly appeared on her shoulder, though he was some what transparent.

"Hey are you crazy? Do you want everyone to see you?!" "Well why not?" "Why not? Cause your going to bring bad attention to me!" she growled apparently to loudly, because everyone near her was staring and whispering. "Don't worry Sora, I wouldn't make myself visible to them, only you can see me right now!" "Oh great... now you've done it." She ran into her first class and sat down, putting her head down to hide her shame. "Now everyone thinks I talk to myself..." she sighed and Roxas dissapeared into thin air. "So much for being invisible..."

I laughed a little as I reached the school, seeing Nathan ahead of me. I merely shook my head and pushed him playfully. "I'll see you at lunch," I said easilly, starting to walk off to my locker. I wasn't exactly winded, but my hair was a little mussed.

I absently straightened the curls around my face, walking to my locker. People stared as I passed by. They always did. They did to all of us. But then again, it didn't really matter. I was one of the luckier ones. Ever since my 8th grade year, when I beat up one of the biggest bullies in our middle school, kids tended to leave me alone.

Not that I was complaining.

In fact, Nathan was really the only person I'd seriously talked to in years. It was a nice feeling, if odd. I smiled to myself and picked out my Language Arts book and put it in my backpack, heading off to class.

"Meet me in the lobby," I shouted off after her. I took a brief drink from a nearby water fountain and jogged up to my own second-story locker. The place was a mess of papers, empty and full soda cans and taped-up comics I found amusing. I removed my Government/Economics notebook from my bag (wrestling with the zippers both ways) and a pen. Somehow, I managed to cram the pack back into my locker and shut it with the aid of my shoulder.

Clipping my pen to the notebook, I let out a quick, satisfied breath and strode briskly to class. Not that I enjoyed Gov/Econ, frankly, the subject bored me, but now that I was here, I may as well act like I wanted to be. I strode in five seconds ahead of the bell and slipped into my seat.

As the bell rung Sora slowly lifted her head, to see half the class staring like robots as usual. She ignored them and pulled outher most cherished item. She placed a green and brown English book onto her desk. Of course the textbook was not her favorite thing to look at on a day like this, but it was the thing that she had hid inside it that mattered.

She put the book upright on her desk so no one could see what she was doing. She carefully slipped out an old note from the pages she hid it between. She had read it about a hundred times now, but somehow it made her feel better every time. It was the goodbye card her best friend had given her before she was sent off to the instutution. "I wonder where you are now Rikku..." she whispered to herself.

I sat down in my class, absently fiddling with my notebook. It was interesting to watch the nervous glances at my classmates sat down. I laughed a little bit and flipped the notebook open, sketching out a poem.

Hear her screams resound so loud,
This kind of pain shan't be allowed.
I'll get out someday, becuase I know
Someday there'll be spring from snow.

A start anyways. My mind drifted as the teacher began talking about our reading assignment. It was a fairly boring bit. Another few chapters in "Of Mice and Men". I let it go, thinking more about Nathan. I wondered just what he was playing at, taking me out to lunch. I still didn't know just what he wanted of me.

I was scratching at a piece of paper during the lecture, mostly stuff we had covered years ago in the eigth grade. I didn't really bother to pay attention and instead of taking notes, a drawing was slowly unfolding beneath my pencil. Although not an excellent artist, I did have a reasonable degree of talent, or so people said.

Today was one of the times that I wasn't conciously directing the drawing, instead I found it moving almost of its own accord. A teardop formed on the page, with a femal figure inside of it. I didn't know her, had neveer seen anyone remotely like her in my life, though I felt a connection. Finished, I frowned at the drawing. It was now a study time. I asked thee teacher if I might go to the bathroom.

I was distracted as I opened my locker, concerned about what I was drawing. As such, my backpack almost fell onto me once I had jimmied the door open. I pulled a few colored pencils from it and returned to class, beginning to shade part of the teardrop a lightly applied crimson.

I sighed a little and sunk down in to my seat, thoughts of her slowly overtaking my mind. She was all I could think about today. I didn't know why, but she wouldn't leave me alone. Screaming... Screaming...

"Run, Ashitaka! Run! I'll come after you!"

A scream. The most bloodcurdling scream she would ever hear. A flash of light, a blur of pain. A small girl sinks to the ground, unable to stand. The the only woman she loved dead at her feet.

It was only then that I realized I was screaming. Screaming and crying. I looked around, scared for my life. Everyone was staring at me. Even our teacher. I couldn't see much of anything though the tears.

I did the only thing I could think of. I grabbed my backpack and dashed out of the room. I ran through the halls, having no idea where I was going. I didn't know where I was. I merely collapsed to the ground, sobbing.

Sora sighed as she re-read her lost friends handwriting over again. There it was scralled out in fading blue ink:

No matter where you are Sora, I'll always be there beside you. So whenever you think of me (and that better be often!) you'll know you've got someone in this big lonely world that cares about you...

A single tear trickled down her cheek, and she quickly brushed it away. Then she realized something. What was the use remembering your best and only friend you'd probably never see again? It was no use. He was gone for good, and now she had to move on like everyone else. "Oh...well." she quietly crumbled up the only thing she had left of him and threw it away. "Bye Rikku."

If there was one thing she had learned about regular people, it was that they could never really understand others. She put her head down again then thought for a moment."Hey... what about the other morphs around here... maybe they aren't so bad..." She considered it for a minute, then smiled as she began working.

OOC: I'm a horrible rp starter person...I should be able to keep up with the whereabouts of everyone...but at last I have not. From what I'm getting we're all at school. If not I'll edit my post. Feel free to catch me up via PM, if you'd like.

Oh and dave...you're accepted...sorry for the late reply to that...been kinda busy...

IC: Andrea had followed the others to school, well more like disappeared after the last few words he as spoken. He had noticed that Ms. Anti-social had backed off, and Andrea choose that time to take his leave, zipping passed them all and arriving at the school a little before the bus.

The bell had rung, after a while, with a sigh Andrea muttered, "Off to AP Chem..." With that, Andrea shuffled out of the class and down the hall. To most people he seemed like a regular student, only because he buzzed his abnormal colored hair and hid some of the other marks that gave him away. Years of experience had taught the ever reckless Andrea that some things were best left unnoticed until the time was right.

Andrea, as usual, was the first one in the class, and sat down while he watched each of his fellow classmates file in slowly. He had grown up with most of the students, well at least through the school, and he was not liked by some because he was obviously reckless, but his grades didn't suffer because of the rate at which he lived. After the usual handshakes and high fives, Andrea settled back and opened his notebook, and waited for his monotoned teacher to begin the lesson. Calvin always liked this class, not because he particularly enjoyed the class, but despite the Professor's warnings, he used his speed to get a quick drink in the hallway without being noticed, making sure that it still looked like he was still doing his work or paying attention in class. Andrea, through the years, found many ways to entertain himself with a world that moved many times slower than he did.

I felt a sudden stab of pain in my mind and jerked suddenly in my seat. I had a small guess as to what might have happened, but there wasn't much that could be done about it right now, especially since mental communication still eluded me. I shook my head and looked down and the angry slash of read running across the woman's throat and through the rest of the tragically surreal scene.

Frowning, I began trying to erase it, then thought better. I licked my finger to moisten it, then began softly smudging the colored pencil mark evereywhere it had cut except for across the woman. Done with the basic shading (I had already outlined the woman in pure black-and-white, all I wanted with this) I began to draw snowlfakes around the teardrop, falling from a cloudy sky into a background of spring.
