    About the Fan Fiction (Update!)

I am using Pokemon Anime Canon and the Anime characters are much older now. The story follows this young man who falls in love with May during his journey around Hoenn. After defeating the Hoenn pokemon champion, he moves to Kanto to live in the Battle Arena with Kanto Frontier Brain Greta to train as a Fight Master, or a fighting type specialist. May breaks off their relationship because Eruu reveals his negative thoughts on Pokemon Contests and would rather compete in the Indigo Leauge than watch her perform in the Sinnoh Grand Festival. After realizing how bad he hurt her, he travels to find her and apologize hoping to renew thier relationship. Drew's current relationship with May only agitates him and makes him jealous. Little does he know he is being hunted by Team Rocket in order to execute thier global plans for conquest, because his genes hold the key to unlocking his forgotten father's Soulless Deoxys Project.

This is my first fan fiction ever! So let me know how good or terrible it is. Thanks for your time and enjoy!

    BADGE ONE: Champion Battle

Eruu Sato was born in Rustboro City to struggling parents. His parents didn't have well paying jobs and throughout Eruu's childhood they moved several times within the city. He was the couple's only child. His parents did not send him to school because they could not afford it. Eruu had finally turned 10, but his parents did not want to allow him to journey. His father didn't like pokemon very much, and his mother always agreed with his father. Instead his mother had him sent to live and work at her parents's farm in Fallarbor Town who were Eruu's grandparents. Eruu's grandfather came to pick him up and they both left. Eruu only saw his parents on special occasions. They sent Eruu to Fallarbor town to teach him how to become a hardworker. Eruu was very curious and fond of pokemon. After a while Eruu began to perfer living with his grandparents because they were nicer, and warm hearted people. Eruu would work in the field with his grandpa, and would learn to clean and cook with his grandma.

Eruu had now turned 14 and his grandmother gave him a pokemon egg for his birthday that she recieved from a close friend. The pokemon egg was Eruu's most prized possession. He would take the egg everywhere, into town on errands, on the farm, and even keept it close as he sleept. Eruu began to wonder what egg would hatch, he asked his grandmother, but she didn't want to ruin the surprise for him. Eruu and his grandparents were enjoying a nice evening outside when the egg suddently began to hatch. The egg finally hatched into a baby Torchic, Eruu was excited in the fact that the pokemon was his. They became very close friends and took Torchic everywhere, just like he did when it was still in it's egg. Eruu would read all of his grandfather's pokemon textbooks because he was very curious and intrested in pokemon. Eruu decided to try and become a pokemon reseacher. Eruu became very eager to return to Rustboro City, because he wanted to attend the Pokemon Academy.

Eruu had finally returned to Rustboro city, on his own, hoping to convince his parents about his pokemon researcher dream. Unfortunately, his parents did not allow it. Eruu was dissapointed in his parents lack of support, when his grandparents supported him. Eruu wanted to return back to Fallarbor town, but his father wanted him work at a job he got him.

He hated the job and instead wanted to study more about pokemon. Torchic stayed at his parents home while he worked. Eruu's father felt that the pokemon was becoming a distraction to Eruu because he was performing poorly at his job. Eruu's dad threatend to give the pokemon away if he did not improve.

He was distraught at the idea that his dad would give away his best friend. More tragety struck as Eruu's grandmother passed away in Fallarbor town. Eruu's grandfather sold the farm and moved in with Eruu's parents. Eruu's father decided to take the Torchic away from Eruu once and for all, almost for no reason. Eruu was saddened, and couldn't help but break into tears once the Torchic was taken away.

Later that night, Eruu's grandfather took Torchic away from Eruu's father without him noticing and gave it back to Eruu. He also packed him a backpack with supplies and gave him the rest of the money they gave him for selling the farm. He urged Eruu to go on his own pokemon journey and learn about pokemon. He promised his grandpa that he would learn as much as he could. He recommended Eruu to challange the eight pokemon gyms across Hoenn and participate in the Hoenn Leauge. Eruu snuck out of his home in Rustboro City and left, never too look back. He was reluctant about becoming a pokemon trainer, but he promised his grandfather he would. Torchic became very fond of the idea of Eruu becoming a trainer and battling alongside him.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    One year later

The stadium crowd roars. Eruu stands on the trainer corner in the pokemon stadium with sweat driping down his face. Glaceon is hit with a powerful jet of water that reflects the staduim lights, giving off a hue of rainbow. Glaceon is thrusted backward. The primary jet of water dissolved after it thrusted the Glaceon away, leaving sparkles of water that glisten in the air. Glaceon falls several feet in front of Eruu.

"Glaceon is unable to battle!" yells the judge. The crowd cheers as the announcer repeats the judge's words. Eruu knows clearly that the crowd isn't on his side. Eruu pulls out Glaceon's pokeball and returns it. He looks at pokeball and thanks his pokemon. Eruu is amazed how the champions pokemon attacks are elgantly displayed. Not only does he manage to hit his pokemon; he does it with a flamboyant and dazzling style.

"You did your best Glaceon, thank you", He says as he returns his Glaceon. On the opposite side of the battlefield stands a Milotic that looks injured but is still ready to battle. It has dirt smudges, scratches, an bits of frost all over its body. Just a few feet behind the Milotic stands a pokemon trainer on the opposite trainer corner with light blue, somewhat long hair.

His name is Wallace, the current Hoenn pokemon champion.

"That was a remarkable battle! I congradulate you on raising such an elegant and tough Glaceon" remarks Wallace.

"Both trainers are down to thier last pokemon! Who will Eruu choose to battle?" says the stadium announcer. Eruu bites his lip and reaches for the back of his hip and pulls out a pokeball.

"This is it! Go Blaziken!" Eruu yells, as he throws the pokeball onto the battlefield. Blaziken emerges from the pokeball. Blaziken heavily focused at the Milotic standing opposite to it then intensely lit up it's wrists with fire.

"Eruu sends out his Blaziken! It has shown remarkable reslilence, and power throughout the Evergrande conference! But will it be enough to finally stop Wallace's Milotic?" states the announcer.

The crowd's cheers sends a chill down Eruu spine. He knows that Milotic has the type advantage, but after battling two consecutive battles, with Eruu's Salamance and Glaceon, it should be exhausted. But Milotic's recover move had been keeping it going. To win, Blaziken needs to strike fast and hard. Wallace reminds his Milotic to not underestimate the fire pokemon. Milotic turns its head to him, and gives him a small nod then turns to Blaziken standing on the otherside of the battlefield. The judge raises his two hands and shouts to begin the battle.

"Milotic, use hydro pump" orders Wallace. Milotic unleashes another dazzling jet of water towards Blaziken.
Blaziken jumps up into the startling night sky and evades the blast of water.
"Use brave bird! Now!" Blaziken covers itself in a blue aura while still airborne and charges at the Milotic. Blaziken hits the ground running, charging full speed at Milotic!

"A direct attack?!" yells Wallace. He is stunned.

Wallace orders Milotic to defend itself with whirlpool, but order is given too late. Blaziken collides with Milotic at full speed. Milotic is sent flying past Wallace and hits the stadium wall. Blaziken kneels on one knee, clearly have taken recoil damage but stands right back up. Milotic manages to pull through, but with one eye open and clenching it teeth.

"Recover!" orders Wallace. Milotic begins to glow brightly; giving off a mult-colored hue. Again, Wallace is displaying his attacks with elegance and beauty.
Eruu quickly reacted, "Don't allow it Blaziken! Thunderpunch!".
Blaziken rushes towards Milotic, englufing both fists in electricity. Milotic stops glowing and bearly evades the powerful thunderpunches. Blaziken instead punches the walls with both fists!

"Counter it with whirlpool!" commands Wallace to Milotic. Blaziken jumps out of the way as Milotic spins up a large wirlpool. The Wirlpool sucks in Blaziken, and Blaziken is spun around the vortex of water. Eruu helplessly watches as Blaziken is spun around, thrusted away then hit with a hydro pump combination. Blaziken falls several feet in front of Eruu.
"Shake it off Blaziken!" commanded Eruu. Blaziken struggles a bit to get up, but pulls through. Milotic uses that oppurtunity to recover, the pokemon slowly begins to glow vividly again.
"No you won't! Blaziken flamethower!" commanded Eruu. Blaziken eyes glowed red then unleashed a powerful flamethower.

"Blaze? Already!?" Eruu thought to himself. Blaziken's ability blaze had kicked in. He was a little surprised that Blaziken was wearing out rather quick.

"Hydro pump!" ordered Wallace. He was bit frustrated that Milotic didn't have time to recover. Milotic used Hydro pump to counter the powerful flamethower. Milotic and Blaziken keept up the attacks, almost evenly matched. Although, Miotic couldn't keep the Hydro pump going strongly enough. The flamethower got closer and closer to Milotic. Suddently due to exuastation, Milotic stopped using hydro pump and the flamethower hit it at full power and pushed back the Milotic.

"This is your chance!" yells Eruu. Blaziken englufs it's fists in electricty again and charges full speed at the Milotic!
"You need to use whirlpool to defend yourself!" pleaded Wallace. Milotic is still struggling to get up from the pervious attack.

"NOW! YOU HAVE IT!" exclaims Eruu. Blaziken leaped into the air and fell right onto Milotic. Milotic helplessly looks up at Blaziken as it lands a thunderpunch on its face. Milotic's head is flinged deep into ground, emitting a cloud of debris and dust.

    BADGE TWO: Lost Love

Milotic lays on the ground. Wallace is awed by Blaziken's powerful thunderpunch. The crowd is slient waiting for the judge to say anything. The judge lifts up his both arms.
"Milotic is unable to battle, the winner and new regional champion is Eruu Sato from Rustboro City" yells the judge to the crowd. The crowd burst into life and began cheering at Eruu. The crowd's eerie silence was gone. Eruu fell down and sat on the ground, and exhaled out a big sigh of relief.

"That was a tough battle", he remarked to himself.

Wallace returned his Milotic and made his way across the battlefield to congratulate Eruu. Fireworks were bursting in the star lit sky and the stadium orchestra began playing an enchanting tune that lit up the moment in Eruu's victory. Wallace approached Eruu, gave him a small bow and gave out his hand toward him.

"That was an extraordinary battle, a truly elegant performance of pokemon battling." Eruu grabed his hand and stood up. Blaziken stood behind Eruu and watched.

"Thanks," he replied "but your Milotic diserves the praise for battling three consecutive times." Wallace wrapped his white cape around himself and grinned.

"Well.." A cameraman and news reporter interrupt the conversation. The news reporter asks him how it feels to be the toughest trainer in all of Hoenn.

"Uh..ha ha," Eruu gives out a nervous smile and a huge sweatdrop slowly falls from the top of his hair. He continues "Im not the strongest trainer, there are some trainers whom talents go unrecongized".

The pokemon judge interrupts the interview and asks Eruu to follow him to the center of the field so he can be officially awarded. He and Blaziken follow the judge. Eruu takes out all the rest of his pokemon. They are handed medals and Eruu is officially named the current regional Hoenn champion. Eruu waves and smiles at the crowd of thousands who cheer him on. Somehow, this victory still feels empty to him.

    --------------
    Three years later

Eruu stands on a hill overlooking the stadium were he became the Hoenn pokemon champion three years ago. Eruu walks away from the hill as a small breeze passes through the green pasture. He is in Evergrande city, searching for a very special person. He walks around the city, looking down as his black hair covers his eyes. He comes upon a secluded park in the city. He walks into it and sits down on a bench. The park has a forest feel to it. The trees block the sky, and only some of the sun's rays penetrate the less dense tree branches.

"Were can she be?" Eruu asks himself. Suddenly, a trainer in a black cap approached Eruu from behind.
"Well, if it isn't the former Hoenn Champion Eruu Sato." states the trainer. Eruu turns to him.
"I've been itching to battle you!" exclaimed the trainer. Eruu turns away from him and ignores him, hoping he would just go away. But the trainer is very persistant to battle.

"Turning away from a battle? I can't believe how much of a wuss the former Hoenn Champion has become." Eruu finally snaps, he stands up and faces the trainer.

"I'll battle you! Right here! Right now!" exclaimed Eruu.

"Ha ha ha, thats the spirit" replies the trainer. He reaches to the back of his hip and pulls out a pokeball. Eruu does the same. The Trainer sent out a Charizard and Eruu sent out the only pokemon he had with him, his Blaziken. As the two are about to begin battle a whistle is blown from the distance, at them.

"You guys can't battle here! You'll burn the whole park down!" yells the police officer as he runs towards them flailing in total panic.

He finally reaches the two and tells them,"this is a strict no battle area! Im going to ask you guys to leave the park!"

The trainer takes no notice to the officer's presence, he hops on his Charizard and flys away. Eruu and the officer both watch the trainer as he flys away on his Charizard.

"He is a strange fellow, that's for sure" remarks the officer.

    "Good riddance" Eruu comments calmly.

"Well, what about you?" the officer tells Eruu.

"No problem" replies Eruu. He returns his pokemon and makes his way out of the park.

Eruu reaches the tourist area within the city. He makes his way down the street and then something catches his attention. He saw a girl with brown hair and blue eyes holding two coffee cups outside a cafe dining area. She makes her way to a table and sits down with a green haired boy. Eruu slowly approches the duo, and overhears their slight conversation.

"Don't worry. I got them." The green haired boy remarks as he gets up and walks back into the cafe. She sits down and awaits his return. Eruu approches the browned haired girl from the front. His shadow is casted over her as he stands in front of her. She notices the shadow and looks up at Eruu standing in front of her.

    "Eruu?"

    "May!"

"What are you doing in Evergrande? I thought you were in Kanto." she remarked.
"I have to talk to you about something."

"How did you know I was in Evergrande?"

"Norman told me". May slightly blushed and looked down to her coffee.

"Well, what is it?" Eruu sats down in the vacant chair across from her in the small two person table.

"I.." Eruu was interupted by the green haired boy standing behind him.

"Can I help you?" asked the green haired boy holding a tray. Eruu stood up, smirked and turned around to face the boy. May quickly stood up and and shoved Eruu a little bit. She has an uneasy smile, but trys to remain enthusiastic. May tries to hide Eruu's identity from him.

"Oh, Drew, this is an old freind of mine." says May. "But, he was just about to leave!" She turns to Eruu.
"Isn't that right?" Eruu is caught off guard.

"But...I just got here." Said Eruu. Drew suddently realized who Eruu was.

"Wait a minute aren't you Erru the fallen Hoenn Champion?"

"Yeah, question is who are you?" He angrily replied. That was the exact situation May was trying to prevent. Instead of answering Eruu's question, Drew comments on how rude Eruu is.

"Your quite the brute, why don't you go away and come back when you learn some manners." Drew calmly replies.

"How about you shut up and mind your own business!" The two begin to argue. May stands back, she hunches forward and exhales a big sigh.

Drew walks away from Eruu and he places the tray full pastry on another table. He turns back to Eruu and takes out his Roserade from its pokeball.

"My pokemon is going to have to teach you some manners!" Calmly commented Drew.

"A battle?! Fine!" Eruu says as he takes out Blaziken's pokeball and sends it out.

    "Blaziken! Blaze kick!" ordered Eruu.

"Stop! Don't battle here!" yelled May from the background. Blaziken charges at Roserade and knocks over some tables and chairs. The cafe clerk comes out from the building and ordered them to stop battling, but he was ignored by Eruu.

Blaziken missed Roserade who evaded the blaze kick. Instead Blaziken hits the cafe window, shattering it. Drew knows he can't battle here, but Eruu is blinded by anger, he doesn't seem to care.

"Blaze kick one more time", ordered Eruu.
Drew tells Roserade to use stun spore. Stun spore hits Blaziken and stops it for the moment, by paralyzing it. Eruu becomes frustruated, he charges at Drew and punches him in the face. Roserade reacts and trys to use magical leaf on Eruu, but Blaziken uses a flamethower to prevent Roserade from hurting its trainer. Eruu begins to beat Drew on the ground, repeatedly punching him in the face.

The sitiuation has gotten out of hand. May runs over to Eruu and pushes him off of Drew. Drew spits out some blood. Blaziken, Roserade, and May are shocked at Eruu. May helps Drew up, Eruu is unaware of the damage he caused until he looks at Drew's face. His left eye; were Eruu intially struck is swollen and black. He is dripping blood from his nose and mouth. Eruu then comes back to his senses.

"What have I done." he tells himself. May has a tear running down here eye.

"Eruu? How could you?! "I don't know you anymore?!" May hysterically shouts at Eruu. Eruu stands up.

"This is why we broke up Eruu! You not the same person I've come to love!" Eruu slowly begins to back off.

"I...I..didn't.." Eruu nervously remarks as he walks backwards. A policeman comes up from behind Eruu and cuffs him.

"Your underarrest for disturbance of public order!" Said the policeman.

Blaziken growls at the police officer, it is ready to help Eruu escape the policeman's clutches. The policeman is alarmed. Eruu shakes his head at Blaziken

"Blaziken! Don't do it!" He told his pokemon. Blaziken stands down, as more police officers show up. Blaziken isn't going to allow itself to get captured, it jumps up to the roof of the cafe and runs away from the area.

"It got away!", says the police officer who is holding onto Eruu. Officer Jenny arrives and tells the other officers to let the pokemon go. Erru is loaded into a cop car. As he is driven away he looks a May tending to Drew. The car turns a corner and they aren't in sight anymore.

    BADGE 3: Jail House Blues

Eruu walked into the jail cell as the police officer behind him closed and locked the jail door. Eruu walked over and sat on the bottom bunk bed in the cell, sighed, and then layed down. An unknown voice coming from above the bunk bed questioned

    "So, what ya in for?"

Eruu was startled by the voice and hit is head on the bottom of the top bunk bed.
"Ow, what the hell?" he said out loud.

Eruu rubbed his head, trying to dull the pain. A man jumped down from the top of the bunk bed to get a look at Eruu. He was shocked to see the former Hoenn champion in a jail cell right before his eyes.
"Well I'll be darned. If it isn't the former champion Eruu Sato. I thought you kids were supposed to be all good and obedient."

"I'm not a kid" Eruu responded. "Im 18."
The man gave out his hand to greet Eruu." "The names Grant, I got caught up in this whole ponzi scheme with team rocket." Eruu gave out his hand and shook Grant's.
    "You around from here?"
"No", Grant replied. Grant let Eruu's hand go and walked over to the opposite side bottom bunk bed and sat down. Eruu layed back down on the bed and put his hands in the back of his head and began to gaze at the bottom of the top bunk. Grant turned to Eruu and said "You haven't answered my question." Eruu turned his head, with his hands behind his head.

"Which was?" Eruu replied. "Why are you here?" Eruu turned his gaze back to the bottom of the bunk and ingnored Grant. Grant thought that Eruu was trying to come up with a answer, but after Eruu closed his eyes he knew that Eruu was not going to respond.

"Ah, the silent type. You know you remind me of well, me as a kid. I thought you pokemon champions were spoiled, snob, brats. Ha ha, the second you walked in the cell I thought you were going to cry for your momma." Eruu reopend his eyes and looked at Grant.

"My parents are dead to me" Grant looked back, he was surprised at Eruu's comment.
"My parents are a couple of indulged narcissists. The reason they still talk to me is because of the prize money I won when I became the Hoenn champion." They don't care about pokemon, they could care less about me." Eruu then sat up and looked at Grant and said " In fact, I don't even know were they are."

Grant was impressed at the boy's independence. "Yup, like I said you're a lot like me when I was younger."
Eruu felt insulted at Grant's response. He knew he was no criminal. His actions resulted him in jail because he was in love. Eruu layed down again and thought about how bad he hurt May's feelings. She seemed very angry, but also afraid of him after he physically hurt Drew.

New thoughts started to race Eruu's mind. Who was Drew? How does May know him? Why was he with her? Those were questions that frustrated him as he thought of them. Eruu couldn't stand the fact that May was with another person. He remembers when he first met May. They were both 15 at the time.

He had arrived at the Petalburg gym to challenge Norman. He challenged May instead, and lost. His Combusken was no match for her Blaziken. They became friends after the battle. He explained how he ran away from home, with his Torchic. She then talked about her adventures as a pokemon coordinator, and how she grew to love and understand pokemon.

In a battle with Norman, Eruu's Combusken evolved into Blaziken and beat down Norman's Slaking. After the battle, May began showing Eruu around her hometown. Eruu was invited to stay a couple nights at Norman's home. The two became closer and closer, until May reveald her true feelings towards him as he was about to leave town.
    He remembers the day.

"I'd hate to see you leave so soon" May said.

Eruu blushed and put his backpack on ready to leave town.
"Thanks for the hospitality. I really enjoyed it here. Your parents and your brother are really awsome people. I wish I had a family like yours."

Eruu gave out his hand. May blushed and looked at his hand. Eruu polietly told her

"Well, are you gonna shake my hand or not?"

May looked at his brown eyes, jumped toward him and gave him a hug.
"You are the sweetest boy I've ever met" she said, as she looked up to him, having wrapped her arms around him. Eruu turned his head down and looked at her serene and startling blue eyes and wrapped his arms around her as well. He had also developed feelings for her.

May's eyes gleamed at Eruu as she said "I've kinda liked you ever since I met you."

"I...like you too." Eruu responded. "Your very beautiful." May blushed again.

Eruu closed his eyes and started inching towards her lips. May looked surprised and then closed her eyes as well. The two heads inched closer and closer.

"Hey! What are you doing!" Grant exclaimed. Eruu arose and hit his head on the bunk bed, again.
    "Ow! Geez! That hurt!"
"Your day dreaming like crazy! You were about the kiss your pillow!" Grant said.
Eruu eyes become hostile as he spoke, then returned to normal.
    "Who is May?" questioned Grant.

"None of your business." Eruu replied. Eruu wondered how he knew May. He was probably daydreaming out loud.
"Arghaha, is this about a girl? You really are like me when I was younger!"
Eruu finally became fed up with Grant comparing himself to him. Eruu stood up and looked at him clear in the eyes.
"I am not like you! Stop comparing yourself to me! You are nothing like me! Your a criminal!"
Grant stared down at the floor. Eruu's response seemed to have triggered a memory within Grant. He suddenly became serious, no longer expressing his jokeful personality.
"You know I've had a love lost. I would have done everything for her", he finishes saying still staring down. He then quickly picks his head up at Eruu.

"That was the problem, I did do everything for her; and ended up just hurting people in the end." Says Grant. Eruu is shocked on how similiar his situitation is to what Grant had once experienced. He sits back down on his bed and begins to wonder when they would release him from jail. He also wonders were Blaziken, the only pokemon he was traveling with is at. He knows that Blaziken could take care of itself, a least for a while.

As a quick note, you'll want to post all parts of your story in the same thread. I merged the three parts you had posted into one thread, so just use this thread for future posting of your chapters.

Another quick note: Hit Enter twice after every paragraph so there's a blank line between each one. This will make it easier to read, especially now that you're using narration.

    Pokemon Generations (part IV)

Note: I have rewritten part 1 and 2 into narration. The story is still the same, but I've tried to make it easier to visualize. I've also been reading a lot of other people's fan fiction to get an idea of how they explain their stories. Anyway this is Rated 14+ enjoy. It might get a bit more violent. ALSO a big thanks to Astinus for merging the stories. Im a noob when it comes to forums.

    BADGE FOUR: A Early Release

The cold hard rain pours into the night of the city streets. Eruu runs into a dark alley, towards the sounds of a woman's sobs. He exhales a cold breath and stood several feet away from the crying woman. She has her back turned to him as she contines to cry.

"Are you okay?" He tells her calmly. She contines to cry, rain drips from her face as she raises her head. Her eyes are covered by her wet brown hair. The water dripping from her face can't be differentiated from rain or tears.

He holds his hand out and slowly approaches her.

"It's fine, Im here. Don't worry" he says as he approaches her.

The woman huntches over and begins to snicker maniacallly. Eruu stops dead in his tracks and opens his eyes widely, surprised at the evil laugh.
She turns around to face him, she uncovers the hair covering her face to reveal bright red eyes. Her red eyes shine brightly through the dark. She begins to shriek as she charges at Erru.

Eruu rose out of the bed and began to breathe heavily in and out. He then calms down realizing it was just a nightmare. He looks right to see Grant sleeping on his bunk bed. He then tells himself.

"Damn, so all that stuff that happend yesterday, really did happen." He kinda wished yesterday's events were just a dream. But his hopes quickly faded as he looked around the jail cell.

A police guard approced the cell, and opened it.

"Come with me", said the officer. Eruu slipped on his shoes and walked out the cell, without awakening Grant. He didn't want to tell him good bye anyway. Eruu followed the guard into the police station lobby.

"You're free to go", said the officer. A blonde haired woman soon approached Eruu after the officer left back into the holding cells.

"So, you did bail me out after all", he told the blonde haired woman.

Eruu had called the woman, just hours before he went to bed. He asked her to bail him out. She was hesitant, she didn't give Eruu a clear answer. She got mad that Eruu got arrested and then hung up on him.

"Yup. Well, I thought we could use you back in the Arena", she replied

"Hmm, why do I feel that wasn't the only reason?", Eruu joked.

The blonde woman blushed and angrily looked back at Eruu.

"Hey! I did you a favor! Don't make me regret it!" , she exclaimed.

The blonde woman's name was Greta the frontier brain of the battle Arena in Kanto. Eruu met her when he was 16. He began training as a fighting type specialist at her Arena. He was her top student, he won her in several pokemon battles and karate fights. The battle Arena soon became Eruu's new home. All his pokemon stayed there and when he wasn't around, Greta's students would feed them and keep them in top shape.

Eruu takes out a pokeball and opens it. It's empty.

"Were is it?", Greta questioned Eruu, "Were is Blaziken?"

"We got seperated when I got arrested" replied Eruu. I have to find it before we head back to Kanto. Eruu and Greta walked out of the police station to find Eruu's Blaziken meditating next to the entrance.

"That was fast", remarked Greta a bit surprised."It wasn't here when I walked in an hour ago."

"You ready to head back home Blaziken?",said Eruu. Blaziken stood up and shook his head at Eruu.

"Okay, I understand then, see you later", said Eruu.

"WAIT!? WHA-WHAT!?" yelled Greta surprised, at his response to Blaziken.
Eruu explained that Blaziken likes to train on its own without him.
Eruu had left Blaziken alone like this several times in different regions. He doesn't question what type of training Blaziken does, or how it even gets back to him.

Blaziken walked away from Eruu, jumped on a building, and jumped away buliding to building.

"Don't you worry about it?" says Greta to Eruu.

"Sometimes, but I know Blaziken can take care of itself. It likes to test itself out in the wilderness, so it can become a stronger fighting pokemon" answered Eruu as they both walked towards Greta's car.

"It's trying to find out how it would live, if it was wild." she remarked.

"Hand me the keys. I'm driving this time!" said Eruu, he continued to say "last time you drove, you almost killed us both!" He joked.

Greta got a little angry, but gave him the car keys. She didn't mind if Eruu drove. She got into the passanger seat, and they drove off to the harbor. Eruu couldn't keep May out of his head. But he didn't know how to approach her, after what he did to Drew.

They had reached the Battle Arena just a couple hours after they boarded a boat in Hoenn. They went inside and all of Greta's students bowed to them as they walked in. Greta stopped in front of them and bowed back. She then told them to continue their training. Eruu just walked into the house and completely ignored all of them. Greta then caught up to Eruu and stopped him by putting her hand on his shoulder.

"Hey what's the matter with you? At least show some respect!"
Eruu brushed her hand of her shoulder.

"I don't care if they show me respect" He replied.

Eruu's Glaceon walked out of a room to greet it's trainer. Eruu crouched and began to pet it. His Glaceon then began to lick him.

"Im glad to see you too Glaceon!" he told it. Glaceon then ran outside.

"I'll greet the rest of my pokemon after I shower" he said. He took his shirt off and walked towards the washroom.

"He really has been training himself hard." she tells herself. "When he first walked in here he was a skinny little thing." She is bit glad he grew some muscle. After all she is the one who has been physically training him. She is glad to know her workout regimen is working.

After Eruu showered, he went outside to greet all his pokemon. He had 9 pokemon in total. Salamance, Glaceon, Shiftry, Metagross, Gallade, and Blaziken made up his original team in Hoenn. He had caught Mankey, Poliwrath, and Machoke in Kanto and had been training with them before he took off to look for May.

All the problems arose because May wanted Eruu to go with her, to watch her participate in the Sinnoh Grand Festival. Eruu refused because he was too busy training for the Indigo Leauge. The two important events were going to happen at the same time in 3 months. He still remembers the conversation that lead to their seperating.

"So, your not going to go with me?" she said angrily.

Eruu stops doing push ups along side his Mankey.
"I already told you. The Indigo leauge is 3 months away and Im not going to miss it. I have a shot in becoming a Champion here in Kanto too."

"But why? You just practically gave up your position as the Hoenn Champion?! Why would you want to participate in another league!?" yells May

"That was before I started training to become a fight master. I want to bring glory to fighting pokemon." he calmly replies. "Pokemon contests are a stupid excuse to show off a pokemon's power capability."

"How can you say that!" May replied. "I thought you enjoyed them."

Eruu stands up, grabs a towel and wraps it around his neck.

"They're really boring, the only exciting parts are the battles," he said

"You know Wallace is a top coordinator, and he was a champion." remarked May

"That's why I beat him three years ago, he wasted his time showing off his pokemon is some beauty contest, instead of focusing on his pokemon's power." said Eruu

May finally became fed up with Eruu's remarks, and insulted Eruu on a more personal level.

"The only reason you even became a pokemon trainer in the first place is because of your grandfather. He wouldn't even be proud of obession with power." she exclaimed

"Shut up! Just leave! Go!" yelled Eruu. May walked to the door.

"Me and you. Were through." she said with her back turned as she opened and then shut the door.

Eruu sat down, he didn't know what to do. He was furious at May for bringing up his grandfather. But weeks later he knew he was the one who insulted May more, and he still loved her. So he left to look for her and apologize hoping they could get back together.

But instead he just ended up hurting her more. He didn't know what to do anymore. His grandfather died the day after Eruu left to journey. His parents told him, when they first talked to him since he left. He was about to participate in the champion battle back then. That is why he was never too thrilled when he won the title.

But Eruu mind was just filled with worries. Grant was arrested because he was involved with a crime Team Rocket had commmited, that meant Team Rocket was back. Team Rocket was thought to have been dismantled when he was around ten by Pokemon Champion of the Johto region, Lance.

Well since this is your first fanfic ever, welcome to FF&W!

Now onto the actual review then. I'll be honest, I only read your story because of the thread you made in Pokemon Anime about a spin-off anime or another. It was an interesting concept so I'd thought I'd check it out.

One thing your story has is a lot going on. That keeps the story interesting but it can also be very bad at the same time. There's a lot of history and all and it's extremely hard to keep up with it since everything literally melts into each other. The first chapter (or "Badge" which is rather clever) has a few explications about Eruu the main character and then suddenly goes to him winning the Hoenn League. It took a while for me to realize that he wasn't watching something and you forgot to say he watched a battle. Be careful with the formatting and remember to hit the "Preview Post" button before so it's all nice and easy. This happens a lot in your story because everything reverts back to memories and dreams and futures and etc.

As for your first chapter, it has the major battle in it. I understand you're new to fanfiction so I'll help you out a bit. The battle consists of two trainers yelling at their Pokemon to do whatever. That's a method of battling kind of frowned upon in writing. Think of it like this, Pokemon aren't exactly stupid. I'm sure that they can dodge without a scrawny teenager yelling them to do so. It's common sense unless they're literally robots that needs the command for everything (I mean you don't command a Pokemon to start breathing). Also, there's a lot left description wise. For example:

    DarkIceForever said:
On the opposite side of the battlefield stands a Milotic that looks injured but is still ready to battle.
Looks injured is just not very descriptive. I could think of a dozen ways it could be injured. Since it just battled a Glaceon, try adding in something like ice shards stuck into its sleek skin. Or maybe there's a bit of blood dripping from its lips. There are so many possibilities and it's your job to put that into viable imagery.

Then there's the actual battle. Honestly, I don't find something along the lines of "The water-type shot water from its mouth at it," a very good image in my mind. I'll give another example here:

    DarkIceForever said:
Blaziken covers itslef in a blue aura and charges at the Milotic. Blaziken hits the ground running, charging full speed at Milotic!
Noticed a spelling error in bold. "Itself". Now onto the actual battle. It could be like, "Blaziken's body covers itself with a blue shine. It flexes its leg muscles and soars into the air. The blazing bird screeches and points its body at the Milotic. Blaziken shoots through the air like an arrow, its arms opening out as the feathers ruffles flat on its skin."

That's just my take though. Remember, less vocalization from the annoying trainers and more action along with description.

Another problem I noticed is the verb tense agreement:
    DarkIceForever said:
The crowd cheers as the announcer repeats the judge's words. Eruu knew clearly that the crowd wasn't on his side.
I bolded only two verbs, but they're perfect examples. "Cheers" is present while "knew" is past tense. Most of the story itself is in the present tense so you could fix up "knew" into "now knows". Just be sure to keep it consistent otherwise it gets confusing.

    DarkIceForever said:
It roars as it's wrists light up intensely.
"It's" is the conjunction for "it is". "Its" is the correction since that would show ownership.

I've noticed that some bits of dialogue are missing quotation marks (""). Be sure to read over your story. In other words, proof read. Make sure that there aren't too many grammatical and spelling errors. It brings a level of professionalism if there aren't many and it makes it a lot easier to read, trust me. You could get a beta reader, who is a person that reads your story before you post it. They'll give you constructive criticism (like I'm doing) but with more of an in-depth analysis overall. We have The Beta Place, which is worth checking out.

This review is getting long. I have more to say so bear with me. I see that you used May and Drew, two canon characters. I don't really like authors using canon characters because of the great number of people that make them so out of character (commonly referred to as OOC). Careful here, you're treading on some thin ice other people have already cracked. I'm a bit ambivalent about you using these two. May seems a bit OOC here. The real May wouldn't be so annoyed with Drew now would she? She's pretty tolerant unless it's around Max (you are using anime canon right?). Also a lot of fanfic writers make Drew extremely snobby for some reason. I mean snobbier than he was. He wasn't overly insulting like say, Gary. But I suppose you had to make Eruu mad... which is where I step in and say just make an original character xD

    DarkIceForever said:
"Your underarrest for disturbance of public order!" says the policeman.
The first bold indicates possession. Use "You're" instead. Also, I think you missed the space bar on the second part. In addition, out of all the things Eruu could be convicted of, he gets arrested for public disturbance? We can list a few. He had vandalism (he is liable for his Blaziken), he had battery (beating Drew's face in), and in the Pokemon world, illegal battling (evident by the other park officer). Just thought I'd add in to that.

It's interesting to see Eruu being Greta's student. I don't think I've seen that before, but I read a fic about Ash being Anabel's apprentice. I'm not going to count that for now. But in this instance, there's Eruu being a love crush of the Arena Tycoon and it kind of strikes me as Gary Stu in a way. He's a champion and he has romance so be careful there. Don't forget to add a few realistic flaws and downsides.

"Come with meI need a comma here" said the officer. Eruu slipped on his shoes and walked out the cell, without awakening Grant. He didn't want to tell him good bye anyway. Eruu followed the guard into the police station lobby.
You need a comma since you need some form of punctuation for the dialogue. This happens a lot in this chapter or badge.

    DarkIceForever said:

The Battle Arena needs to be capitalized. It's a proper noun because it's a specific place.

    DarkIceForever said:
She got into the passanger seat, and they drove off, back to Kanto. Eruu couldn't keep May out of his head. But he didn't know how to approach her, after what he did to Drew.
Driving from Hoenn to Kanto? Hoenn is very far away. That's what the game creators wanted to get at since Hoenn's routes start at 101 whereas Kanto starts with 1. And Hoenn is an island-like region, so driving on water is a bit... impossible.

    DarkIceForever said:
"But why? You just practically gave up your position as the Hoenn Champion?! Why would you want to participate in another league!?" yells May
This bit made me realize that the battle with Wallace was in the past. This shocked me greatly. It's just another example of confusion. I'd just thought I'd mention that.

    DarkIceForever said:

There are two Elite Four who specialize in Fighting-types and a few Fighting-type gyms xD

At least there's a bit of characterization with Eruu and his Pokemon philosophy. I suppose he would like to admire the power and battling of Pokemon rather than contests to prove his parents wrong or something. On the other hand, he could show off his Pokemon more in the contest setting. Either way, he has inspiration.

    DarkIceForever said:
But Eruu mind was just filled with worries. Grant had told him that Team Rocket was back, and this time they meant business.
And right here is where a lot of writers go a bit astray. The story itself was fine with the drama and the character's conflicts. But now you have the involvement of Team Rocket so he has to defeat them since he's the Champion of Hoenn. Talking realistically, Team Aqua or Magma would be better since they're in his region Hoenn. Another question I have is how did Grant tell him? I probably missed it, but did Grant leave prison or something and come into regular contact with Eruu?

Well after a long while reviewing, I think I can finally stop my rambling! Hurray! It was a bit fun to read. I like those champion fics and about what happens afterwards. The problem is a lot of people kind of overdo it and make it too cookie cutter, but then again that's understandable because they're at the pinnacle of the Pokemon world. I'll just say be careful.

Just keep in mind you should keep an eye out for any kind of grammatical or mechanical error before you post and also proofread in general. In addition, you're posting your chapters at an extremely high rate, the highest range being three day's difference. Keep a steady pace on writing and don't rush yourself. You have all the time in the world.

I'll keep an eye on this story! See ya around!

One thing your story has is a lot going on. That keeps the story interesting but it can also be very bad at the same time. There's a lot of history and all and it's extremely hard to keep up with it since everything literally melts into each other.

Really apperciate your review! Here are a few points that you made out that really resonated with me. (Aside from the grammer and spelling :D)

You really didn't tell me what was very bad at some times, is it the confusion? I'll try and summerize the story up the present point. I really am trying hard at this, i know it's my first fan fic and all, but I really want it to be good. I am taking time off now to work on it more, where before I just wrote things down and wrote them in about a day. I think that contributes to the confusion because I rushed it and didn't plan it out well. NEWBIES are eager! XD

OOC? *GASP* I tried to avoid this. May was never annoyed at Drew, just as the fact she forgot the pastry in the cafe, which meant she had to go back in the cafe. I really need to write things more carefully. I will use more canon characters so I must find a way to mold them into my story. I kinda hope people would be like "oh thats how I imagine an older [canon character] would react or do.

Im not very sure "if" Hoenn and Kanto are sepreated by a body of water. I saw a pokemon episode were Prof Birch and Max Literally drove to Ash's home in Pallet town during the ending of pokemon Advanced Battle. Birch and Max just show up in his jeep.

    You are quite welcome!

You don't really need to summarize your story. I got my head wrapped around it eventually. As for the bad? I guess I was a bit vague so I can explain it a bit. Most of your transitions come seemingly out of nowhere. Here's an example from the first badge:

    DarkIceForever said:
Eruu snuck out of his home in Rustboro City and left, never too look back. He was reluctant about becoming a pokemon trainer, but he promised his grandfather he would. Torchic became very fond of the idea of Eruu becoming a trainer and battling alongside him.

The stadium crowd roars. Eruu stands on the trainer corner in the pokemon stadium with sweat driping down his face. Glaceon is hit with a jet of water and thrusted toward Erru and falls just a few feet away from him.
These two paragraphs show two completely different time frames. The first one shows Eruu's past while the next one shows... well his "future" past. Gah, oxymoron. It would help with some kind of narration showing that it's still in the past but further from when Eruu left on for a journey. Something along the lines of, "Years later, Eruu stands in his side of the battlefield. The crowd drowns out his thoughts. He wipes his face and looks down to see his sleeve wet with his sweat." You could also use a pagebreak or some kind of marking. A lot of writers use it to show different settings. Example would be:

Torchic became very fond of the idea of Eruu becoming a trainer and battling alongside him.

    --------------

The stadium crowd roars. Eruu stands on the trainer corner in the pokemon stadium with sweat driping down his face.
Either way works. It's fine as long as you indicate the change. That would greatly help with confusion. Keep in mind that this is the case for most transitions.

And the older canon character thing isn't new, but it's always caught my eye honestly. The thing about older characters is that they'll pretty much be the same. Sure, Ash would still be a stupid idiot but he still won't be ridiculously dense. Brock will move on to more perverted things, like playboy magazines or something. But their characters will remain the same, unless something drastic happens like if one of their Pokemon dies.

I know the episode you're talking about, but they got to Kanto from Hoenn off-screen. I found a map here, which places most regions spot on. It even has the Sevi-Islands there!

    Spoiler:

I've taken some time off to challenge myself in perfecting my fan fiction story. I've also been doing research into fan fiction (since this is my first one) and the writers lounge has also been an incredible help.

Badge Five: Not your Ordinary day

3 Days away from the Indigo League.

Eruu has been locked in a tough battle with a Battle Arena challenger for over 10 minutes. Eruu's Mankey charges the opposing Croagunk head on. It stretches out it's right arm toward Croagunk, about to land an incredibly powerful punch on the poison/fighting type.

Croagunk spots an immediate opening in Mankey's attack form and uppercuts the Mankey, hurdling it away from the battlefield.

Mankey lands yards away from the battlefield in the courtyard and does not get up.

"Mankey is unable to battle!", yells Greta "therefore the battle goes to Marcus and his Croagunk."

Eruu rushes off the battlefield without his shoes to tend to his Mankey.

"You alright bud?", he says softly to his Mankey as he picks it up.
Mankey shakes it's head and groans, angry at the fact that it was knocked out.

"We'll get 'em next time", he says bluntly. Eruu returns the Pokemon to its pokeball while still holding it in his arms.

    Greta and Marcus approach Eruu.

"Damn good fighting" exclaims Marcus enthusiastically.

"What the hell was that?" Greta tells Eruu in a discontenting tone.

"I'm sure he just needs more training, don't be so hard on him. I'll be back tomorrow for the frontier challenge." Says Marcus to Greta.

"I'm looking forward to it." replies Greta. Marcus walks away, cheerful.

Erru falls over and lays down on the grass.

"You're picking a bad time to be losing. How are you going to represent the Battle Arena in the Indigo League as a fight master? You only have two fighting pokemon that are up to that task." Greta tells Eruu.

    "Blaziken and Gallade" he replies.

Greta shakes her head in disappointment and walks away back into the dojo to instruct her other students. Eruu lays on the ground staring at the light blue sky and white puffy clouds.

    ------------------------------
    Later that night.

Eruu sits outside the dojo on top of a stone statue. The white full moon gleams in the sky, as a gentle breeze pushes a few bright pink pedals from the sakura tree just a few feet away.

Eruu drinks a huge gulp of his saké, and finishes the bottle of rice alcohol. He then discards the bottle by throwing it over the Battle Arena fence. He jumps off the statue, almost losing his balance and heads into the dojo.

He makes his way to the kitchen, into the refrigerator and grabs another bottle of saké. As he begins to make his way outside, he stops to look at Greta shadow through the translucent paper of the shoji door.

He walks over to the door, slides it open, and approaches Greta from the back. He wraps his arms around her waist and then rests his head on her left shoulder.

Greta is surprised and looks at him over her shoulder.

"Hey, Greta...I j-just want, well you know, thank you for helping me n stuff."

"Aw, how sweet. Is this how you want to thank me?" She says.

    "yup", he replies.

"GET YOUR HANDS OFF ME!", exclaims Greta.

Greta elbows Eruu in the face unsuspectingly. Eruu falls on his rear and clings onto the bottle of saké.

"Oh! Good. I saved the saké. You know, you're running...OWWW!", the pain from Greta's blow finally set in, a bit late.

Eruu covers his nose with both hands, dropping the bottle.

"For a girl...You hit pretty damn hard!" he exlaims, still covering his nose with both hands.

Greta places her hands on her waist and yells "Get out of my room and don't you ever put your hands on me again!"

"Fine", he says. He stands up and stumbles out of the room. Greta angrily slides the door shut.

"That kid is going to be the death of me", she tells herself after shutting the door.

Eruu stumbles outside and falls over the dojo steps. He loses his grip on the saké bottle and breaks once it hits the ground, he hits the ground face first.

Eruu raises his head and looks at the broken bottle,"Aw man, there goes the last one", he tells himself. He places his face back into the ground.

"Dammit!" he mumbles into the dirt. He picks his head up and crawls towards a patchy area of grass. He rolls over to his front and stares at star studded night sky. Moments later he closes his eyes and falls asleep.
    -------------
    Next Morning.

Eruu's Glaceon licks his face to awaken him.

"Alright! Alright! I'm up." He tells his Galceon as he sits up. He places his right hand on his forehead.

"Aragh! I have such a headache."Galceon then lays down next to Eruu to confert him.

Greta walks down the dojo steps with her eyes closed, tying her white belt into a knot.

She reaches the bottom of the steps and slides her white knot from the front of her waist, to her back waist. She opens her eyes and turns her head at Eruu who is sitting just feet away.

"What was that crap you pull last night?" She tells him angrily.

Eruu looks down to the grass, ashamed of his actions. He doesn't say a word.

Greta approaches him more closely. Then looks at his Glaceon laying down peacefully next to him.

She closes her eyes and sighs, then reopens them and tells him in a more relaxed tone, "You know, I would have kicked you out years ago. But the only reason you're still even living here is because of your pokemon and well.."

She pauses to think about what she is about to say.

"..the other reason I haven't kicked you out is because you're a good friend and you have the potenital to be great at what you want to do. And to be honest, I don't think you have many friends."

Eruu stands up and raises his head and says, "sorry, just have a lot on my mind. I've been having these strange dreams over and over".

"Your recurring dreams, what are they?" Greta replies.

"I run into a dark alley, it's raining and a woman in brown hair stares at me with dark red eyes. It's like she is crying and asking for help, but then turns on me. It's really creepy."

"Hmm, is it May?" she asks.

"I don't know. I just need to get things right with her." he replies.

"Well, I guess that's distracting your training. But with the Indigo League only two days away, I don't think there is much room for improvement. No matter how hard you train."

Eruu looks down at his Glaceon napping peacefully. Then looks at Greta.

    "I'm going to Sinnoh."

"You're going to look for her again?"

"Yeah, but this time I'm going to make things right."

"But, the Indigo league. You are going to miss it."

"I just don't feel like fighting anymore."

Greta puts her left hand on his right shoulder.

"Fine, I support you. But if you ever go into my saké cache again....

    ...I'LL KILL YOU!"

"Aragh!" Eruu jumps back. He closes his eyes and puts his hand on his chest. Then looks at Greta laughing at him.

"Don't do that!" he shoots back.

"Hahaha, you're not even old enough to drink yet." she replies

    She walks away still laughing.

"Also take a bath, you smell like a drunk!" She tells him from a distance, as she walks away to the front of the Battle Arena.

After Eruu finishes getting ready, he hops on his Salamance and flys off toward Sinnoh. Salamance is the only pokemon Eruu is taking off with.

Badge Six - Kidnapped! (Unknowingly eluding capture)

Salamence slowly glided down from the orange sky into a small chain of islands poking out of the red ocean. Eruu decided to call it a day as the sun had almost set behind him. He landed on the largest isle, but even it wasn't more than one mile across. They were still hundreds of miles away the Sinnoh mainland. Salamence couldn't fly well in the dark, but most importantly Salamence was exhausted having flown the great distance from Kanto.

The island was seemingly barren, with only sand and huge rocks across its surface. The few trees the island did have were withered and uprooted. Eruu placed the wood he gathered from an old decayed tree into two shallow holes he dug next to each other. After that he walked into the cold dark red ocean to wash his hands. When he returned Salamence had lit the wood on fire and was peacefully resting next to the two fires. Eruu pulled out a bronze pot out of his pack along with a huge bag of uncooked rice, peacha berries, and a gallon of fresh water. He poured half of the water into the pot and gave the rest to Salamence. He put the rice and the pecha berries into the pot and began to cook them.

"I call this pecha berry stew", Eruu joked. "Well it does smell sweet." He added. After an hour or so the food was done. Eruu poured some of the stew into a small bowl for himself and gave the whole pot to Salamence. Eruu sat on the sand, sipping the stew from the bowl because he had no spoon.

The night had already set in completely by the time Salamence and Eruu finishing eating. Salamence dozed off quickly and went sleep, laying beside Eruu. As Eruu sat beside his pokemon his gaze focused toward the Sinnoh mainland. He could barely make out the faint lights illuminating from the distant land mass. He took a deep breath and let out a short yawn, he slowly closed his eyes and went to sleep on the sandy beach.

Eruu arose in the morning's twilight gasping for air. He caught his breath, then sat up. He was angry of the rude awakening. He pounded his right fist into the sand.
"Damn! That stupid got damn nightmare." He said to himself softly.
He didn't go back to sleep because he felt wide awake. He didn't want Salamance to wake since it was very early in the morning. The sun had yet to rise, so to pass the time he walked over to the shore to watch the sunrise. He sat just a few meters from the shoreline, wrapped his arms around his knees and began to listen to the small crashing waves. The sounds seemed to have soothed him, but watching the early sun dawn above the distant land in the horizon captivated him more.

    Mid-Morning

The morning sun was bright in the sky as Eruu walked around the harbor.
"Canalave City Harbor, Salor Docks" Eruu read to himself as he passed a large warehouse. He walked around the harbor, a bit puzzled.
"HEEEYY WATCH OUT!" Yelled a man from behind. Eruu turned around, "wh-what?" A Graveler was rolling at an incredible speed towards Eruu. He jumped out of the way, just in the nick of time. The Graveler crashed into a shipping container and dented it severely. The crash stopped the pokemon from rolling any further.

The young sailor who looked just about Eruu's age caught up to him with a Machop by his side.
"Phew! Sorry about that!" The sailor remarked as he returned the Graveler.
Eruu got up and dusted off his black pants.
"It's okay", he replied, "what caused that Graveler to roll out of control?" He told the Sailor.
"My Machop hurled it away on accident and.....Wait!?" The Sailor paused and got a good look at Eruu.

Eruu slightly tilts his head forward and focuses his eyesight down at the concrete pier, he hopes the sailor won't recognize him as a former champion.
"Home come you aren't in your sailor uniform?" The sailor questioned.
Eruu was consciously relieved that the Sailor didn't ask his anticipated question.

He focuses his attention on the sailor again."Ha! Uh...I'm not a sailor and I'm..a little....lost." Eruu replies scratching the back of his head, embarrassed to reveal his uncertainty of location.
"The truth is, I'm looking for the location of the Sinnoh Grand Festival."
"Man, that's on the other side of the region.", replied the sailor.
"Really?!" replies Eruu, surprised at how far off the Grand Festival really is.
"Yup, Lake Valor to be exact".
    "Where's that at?"
The sailor walks Eruu over to shipping map of Sinnoh and points out the directions. Eruu thanks the sailor and he walks away.

    ***
    Evening

Eruu and Salamance left Pasotia City an hour ago and were on there way to the Valor Lakefront. Salamance had grew tried of flying so they landed and decided to walk the rest of the way.

Eruu walks forward sluggishly on a trail with his stomach rumbling.
"Aw, I knew we should have had a bigger lunch."He tells Salamence. Salamence grumbles back, a bit annoyed with his trainer's complaining.
"I know, you're more tired than me! So, how much further is this Lake Valor?"
Salamance shakes its head and and grunts loudly.
"Yeah, yeah, you're more clueless than me!"He jokes.
Salamance roars back at Eruu. Eruu isn't intimidated by the pokemon's roar, he seemed more unamused
at the pokemon's response than the roar itself.

Salamance wasn't the vicious type of dragon pokemon that would go looking to pick a fight. It had changed its personality by the time it became a Salamance. Back when it was a Bagon it would literally try to smash everything in its path. It was rowdy and didn't care for others. Even when he captured it, it would still pick fights with Blaziken because of the jealousy it had towards it. By the time it became a Salamance it had become gentle and very playful, almost like a kid. Eruu thinks it changed because of the power it gained. He knew it good easily destroy anything, if very angered. Eruu still gets laughs when people approach it very cautiously, fearing the Pokemon's assumed vicious nature. Although, somehow most young children can see it for what it is and aren't afraid of it.

After walking on the trail they finally reach the lake town near Valor. The town looks gorgeous, the walkways are decorated with round paper lanterns hanging on rope between buildings, banners, ballons. In all, Eruu is still not impressed in the festive atmosphere as he and Salamance enter the town under thick flowered arches.

"I wasn't expecting a luxury resort town next to a lake, but with all these festive decorations this has to be the Grand Festival's location.", he says unassumingly. After they pass the flowered arches their attention is shifted to the left. He takes a small sniff of the air and he almost instantly springs to life, no longer keeping his unamused attitude. His eyes widen and his mouth begins to water.
"Something smells delicious!" Salamance also gets the same reaction. With a stronger sense of smell the pokemon rushes to the source of the delicious aroma.
"Wa-wait Salamance!" He says as the pokemon's sudden bolt. "Don't go without me!" He shouts at Salamance as it rushes away.

He gives chase to Salamance trying to keep up with it. He manages to catch up with it after it stopped in front of a building. Eruu puts his hands on his knees and tries to catch his breath.

    "I've never...seen you..run...so fast...in your life!" He says panting.

Salamance takes a couple of sniffs of the air in front of the building. Its eyes gleam in happiness having discovered the source of the smell. Eruu stands upright, having caught his breath. He points with his right hand at the building's door.
"So! The the delicious aroma is coming from here? Lets go!"

Eruu and Salamence rush toward the door at the same speed, but become stuck trying to bulge through.
"Hey! You don't fit here Salamence." Eruu and Slamence struggle to get through the door.
"See what you do?! We're stuck!"Salamece lets out a huge roar.
"OK! OK! Back up! Me first! On three! One...Two...PULL!! The pull was unsuccessful.
"Things would be a lot easier if you just got back in your ball."He reaches into his pocket and takes out Salamence's pokeball. He stiffly aims it at Salamence and returns it. The door was clear and he proceeded inside the building.

Eruu walks into a reception area and is welcomed by a formally dressed man behind a podium.
"Hello and welcome to the Seven Stars Restaurant. May I have your reservation number please." Asked the man.

"I don't have one", replies Eruu. The man closes his reservation booklet and looks at Eruu.
"You can't dine here if you don't have a reservation. If you'd like I could schedule you one, but because of the Grand Festival there won't be a table available until next week. I'm terribly sorry." Eruu puts both hands in his gray jacket.
"Uh, that's alright, I'll just eat elsewhere then."
"Thank you, and please drop by sometime." Eruu walks out of the restaurant and sighs in disappointment. He picks up his head and looks around the surrounding area.
"There has to be a food-mart around here...Somewhere." He tells himself.

    ***
    Valor Lakeside

Sunset, Eruu is in a sucluded area of the Lake cooking. Eruu is glad he found a very quiet and lonely area within the lake to eat; where Salamence and Erru could eat on there own, without being disturbed.

"Grandma's special noodle and rice recipe beats gourmet food anyday." He remarked to his pokemon laying beside the lake's shoreline. Salamence quietly snarled at Eruu's statment and focused his gaze back into the lake.
Eruu stands up after pouring the ingredients in the pot. He looked across the lake to see May and Drew sitting on the lake's shoreline. Eruu quickly ducks and sits behind Salamance.

"Whoa. I hope they didn't see me", he tells himself. Eruu was surprised to find them so quickly. He is not ready to approach them yet, fearing May's response to see him. He also wondered what they were doing in a secluded area of the lake. He guessed they didn't want to be bothered by anyone, just like him. But he figures he should just approach them and apologize, since that is his whole reason for his trip to Sinnoh.

"Hey May, I know you don't want to see me again...no wait..I know you probably hate me by now...Ugh..uh..how's that eye Drew? Dang, I really suck at this. Okay, how about...no..."Eruu can't think of a proper way to approach them. He figures he should just take all the anticipated insults from May and Drew.

    *Swoosh! BOOM!*

A small but devastating explosion rips behind Eruu on the other side of the Lake. Eruu quickly gets up and sees a thick black smog enveloping the lakeside.
"Lets go!" Eruu hops on his Salamance and it flies over the opposite lake side.
Eruu covers his nose with his arm as Salamence gusts the smog away. Eruu jumps down from the airborne Slamence still gusting the smog. He runs though the toppled brush toward two figures in the smog.

    "May? Drew?"
Eruu is kicked in the chest by the figure as he approached it.
The smog is lifted and the figure who kicked Eruu reveals itself.
"May, isn't my type of a name, just call me Domino."
"Who are you, where's May and Drew?"

"You mean those two?" Domino looks back over her shoulder to a bulky man throwing unconscious May and Drew on the ground next to a tree. The bulky man then turns around.
"Grant!?" Eruu yells in disbelief. His heart completely sank, knowing a man he seemingly befriended in jail was responsible for hurting May.
"So, you do remember me." Says Grant.

Eruu stands up, with his hand over his stomach and his back hunching a bit. He is furious at Grant for hurting May. His face becomes red, his blood begins to boil, and the skin between his eyebrows tightens.
"ARGH! I'll KILL YOU!" Eruu angrily shouts at them.

Grant walks up to Domino and stands beside her, Domino smirks.
"I believe he just threatened you."says Domino to Grant, keeping her eyes focused on Eruu. They don't take Eruu as a threat, knowing Grant's bulky and intimidating stature could easily overpower Eruu.
"Humph, ha ha kid, give it a rest." Grant tells Eruu. Eruu doesn't think twice about Grant's heavy build, blinded by anger Eruu rushes Grant to land a punch on his face.

Grant blocks Eruu's punch with his palm, as the punch neared close to his face. Eruu is shocked and stands frozen as Grant holds his fist with his left palm. Grant smirks, he punches Eruu in the face knocking him on the floor! Salamence charges at Domino and Grant at full speed, enraged over the hurting of Eruu.

"Yes! Hahaha! Come to me Salamence!" yells Grant as he throws a rocketball at the charging pokemon, Salamence is captured instantly.
"You'll pay for that", Eruu says softly as he gets up; a bit dazed by Grant's powerful blow. He wipes the blood from his mouth with his arm. Grant approaches the black pokeball and picks it up. Eruu stares at him angrily.
"Ha ha, looks like I caught a Salamence." Says Grant sarcastically. He then stares down Eruu standing a few feet away.

"Are you going to come quietly or am I going to have to knock you out like your cheating girlfriend?" He tells Eruu.
"WHAT DID YOU SAY!?" Eruu has never been so furious in his entire life. He tightens his both fists ready to rush Grant again.

"Heh! Aw do my words hurt you? That girl is way to HOT for you. Damn, the things I'd do to her!" Grant says mockingly. He turns to look at May laying unconscious. Eruu took that opportunity to rush him again.

Grant grabs his punch, he quickly and harshly elbows him in the stomach. Eruu's pupils dilate in the excruciating pain as small amount of blood gushes from his mouth, he lands on the floor again.

"You shouldn't try to sneak up on me like THAT!" Says Grant as he pounds his left foot onto Eruu's stomach. More blood gushes from Eruu's mouth as Grant pounds away. After five stomps he kicks Eruu a few feet away. Eruu tries to get back up, kneeling on all fours. Grant grabs him by the shirt and stands him up. Eruu looks onto his face, he has given up trying to fight back.

Eruu coughs some blood onto Grant's face. Grant is frustrated to have Eruu's blood on his face and throws him several feet in front of him.
"You disgusting rat! Your going to wish you never got blood on me!" He says as he approaches Eruu slowly.

"That's enough" Says Domino. Didn't you forget? We are going to need him alive! You're going to kill him if you keep hurting him like that. You can kill him after we're done with him! Hurry up and grab him! The authorities are on there way!" Yells Domino.

Grant stares at Eruu on the floor. He yells back at Domino,"right! I was just having my fun! Don't think I forgot!." Grant kneels to the floor to talk to Eruu. He grabs his chin and forcefully turns his head toward May and Drew lying unconscious.

"Hey listen kid, when we get back to headquarters I coming straight back for her. I'll kill the green haired one if he gets in my way; but when they are through with you...I'm going to make you suffer! You're going to watch me slowly kill your girlfriend painfully in front of your eyes. Her screams are going to make you wish you were deaf. You're going to experience the anguish of losing the one close to you. And when I'm done with her, your going to be pleading me to kill you", Grant softly speaks to him.

Eruu lays in horror, he wants to get up but his body is very hurt. He can't do anything because his pain is too excruciating. A single tear falls under his eye onto Grant's hand, still gripping his chin.

Grant lets go of his chin and stands up, still heavily focused on Eruu on the ground.

"How pathetic! Aha, I though you would have more fight in you!" Grant says. He Grabs Eruu's leg and drags it into the direction of an incoming helicopter, that begins to hover down. As Grant drags Eruu away, Eruu turns his head back at May lying unconscious

"I'm sorry", he tells himself consciously. Eruu can only anticipate the horrors he faces next as he is thrown onto the helicopter. Worst of all, May and Drew don't even know Eruu was there in the first place.

It's time to wrap this up! The last chapter was longer than I intended it to be. Secrets will be revealed in this chapter.

Badge Seven- Awakening (The demon within)

"The pass few hours have been hell. I don't know why they need me,I just don't understand. They've been drawing blood samples from me, like if they didn't get the last blood drawing right. I feel extremely weak, I am afraid these people are going to kill me soon. I believe it's only a matter of time." Eruu relays to himself as he sits on the corner of his cell.

    ***
Domino hands Grant a suitcase of money. Grant receives the case, opens it and proceeds to count it the money inside.

"Don't worry, all you're money is there" Domino jokingly says.

"I don't doubt you doll face, its just that I haven't been paid such a large amount in a while!" Says Grant, counting a bundle of money. Domino smirks and crosses her arms.

"It's going to take you quite a long time to count that much, but don't worry the next reimbursement will be ready by next week."

"Guess so", Grant places a bundle of money back into the case and closes it.

"So? What are you going to do now?" Domino questions.

"I have a promise to keep to someone I made-"

"Don't tell me, you're actually going to find that girl and kill her."

"Well you first you have to let me know when you're going to discard Eruu."

"Ha ha! Wow you really are as cold as they get. I absolutely adore your type, the bounty hunters that do just about anything for money and pleasure." Grant walks away from Domino and opens a door that leads outside.

"And..I know you're type, the ones attracted to money and power. I'll be back for the rest of my money." Grant walks outside and closes the door. Domino proceeds back into the headquarters. She approaches a large double entry door. Two men, one standing at each end salute Domino as she approaches and opens the left door.

"Ma'am" They both shout consecutively. Domino makes her way inside a dim lilted room to a man sitting behind a desk on the phone. A Persian lays on the rug next to the fire place; the fire is the only thing lighting the room.

"I don't want another mistake like that again! Get it done you imbeciles!" The man shouts into the phone before slamming it into the receiver. He rubs his face with both hands before noticing Domino.

"Is everything in order?" He tells Domino.

"Yes sir! Grant has received his money and the medical staff had a hard time confirming it, but the kid is indeed Dr. Winter's son." The man stood up from his chair.

"Excellent! Just the news I wanted to hear. It took us quite a long time to find him. I still can't believe how easily he escaped from Takashi and Miyoko Sato. I don't understand how one can become a Pokemon champion then denounce their position and disappear." The man sits down and drinks a glass of water.

"Me neither! Not even Team Rocket operatives could raise him. They did a pretty terrible job if that kid grew up to hate them, more or less run away from them", replies Domino

    "So how is the boy?"

"Scared, should we just kill him already?"

"No. We are having a change of plans."

    "What?"

"Maybe we can use the boy to our advantage after all."

    "How?"

Eruu is brought into the man's office by two men in black jumpsuits. They sit him down in a chair in front of Giovanni's desk.

"Giovanni Sir! We brought the prisoner as you requested." One of the men wearing jumpsuits tells him as he calmly sits behind his desk.

"Unshackle him, there is no need to keep him restrained", Giovanni ordered. The two men removed Eruu's hand shackles. Domino watches as she sits on the rug by the fire place gently stroking the Persian's back.

Now all of you leave. I need to talk two our guest..alone."

"Yes sir!" The men both yelled simultaneously.

"Does that include me?" Domino questioned.

"Yes", Giovanni shot back. Domino stood up and petted the Persian's head one last time.

"See ya Persian", She said as she quickly paced out the room. The Pokemon let out a faint meow and proceeded back to napping. The doors closed shut. Eruu blankly stared back at Giovanni, until Giovanni finally broke the eerie silence in the room.

    "Eric Winters" He tells Eruu.

"Eh-what? My name is Eruu Sato." Eruu hopes that the man had some sort of mix up and mistook him for another person. Eruu had no idea why this man would have him captured him. So he began to think he was captured mistakenly.

"No, that is your adoptive name. Your real name is Eric Andrew Winters. Your father named you after his father, your grandfather."

"What are you taking about!? My name is Eruu Sato! My father is Takashi Sato and my grandfathers are Mitsuru Sato and-"

"No", Giovanni cuts him off. "They never told, but you were adopted." Giovanni hands him a folder full of documents, Eruu doesn't want to grab it.

"Take a look at the documents, if you don't believe me." Eruu is reluctant to take the folder from his hand, but his instincts force him to grab it and open it. He is distraught at the opening paper.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------

He skimped through the papers. All of his personal information was there including his parent's. It was too much for him to take in. He dropped the folder on the floor in shock. How could some unknown stranger have all of his personal information?

"T-this can't be..." Eruu softly says to himself as he stares back at Giovanni.

"I understand this may be a bit too much to take in all at once, but it will sink in over time."

"How did you get this information?"

Giovanni put his hands on his desk and and slowly sighed.

"Your father was my childhood friend and we remained best friends even until his death."

"This explains everything, how my parents never loved me, how my dad hated Pokemon! We were different people! Why didn't I think of this before! Dammit!"

Eruu kicks the desk in anger. "Calm yourself Eruu" Giovanni tells him. Eruu stands up and walks over to the wall. He slams his palm into the wall and leans on it. If what this man says is true, than is the only connection to his true past. Somehow Eruu feels this man's words are true, deep down he knows Takashi and Miyoko couldn't be his real parents. Even throughout his childhood he always felt alienated from them.

"I don't even know what the hell to call myself anymore! Eruu or Eric. How Giovanni, how did my parents die. My real parents.

"Your parents died in a nuclear incident. Your father was a chief medical scientist studying the effects of radioactivity on Pokemon tissue samples in a nuclear power plant. You and your mother lived nearby the facility in Middle Town when the reactor meltdown occurred. It exploded, killing all in the facility members inside instantly. Your mother from initial reports, wrapped you in a anti-radioactive suit and ran out of the city with you in her arms. She was heavily exposed to radioactive radiation and died hours later. You were saved, only because your mother used the only anti-radioactive suit she had and wrapped it around you." Eruu sat on floor, in utter shock.

"How do you know all this, I can't...be-"

Giovanni stands up and approaches Eruu sitting on the floor. "Like I said, your father was my closest friend. I had to find out how he died." Giovanni gives out his hand to Eruu. Eruu grabs it and Giovanni helps him stand up. He hands him a photograph of a man holding a newborn baby, standing next to a bed ridden woman. They look happy as the man holds the crying baby.

"I was able to salvage this photo from your home, that's your father holding you in his arms. That woman is your mother minutes after she gave birth to you."

Eruu deeply stares into the photo, extremely saddened to look at the happy couple holding him as a newborn. There was no doubt, that was him. His "grandmother"had baby pictures of him riddled throughout their home in Fallarbor Town. Giovanni then handed him a photo of two young men standing beside each other.

No doubt one was the same man that was holding him as a newborn, only younger and the other was a younger Giovanni. Vincent had his arm over Giovanni's neck and a Pidgey on his shoulder. Giovanni was striking the peace pose and holding a very young Meowth in his arm. Eruu gave the photo of Giovanni and Vincent back to him and placed the newborn picture of him in his pocket.

"Why would you go to such trouble to find me? Why did you have your operatives injure me?"

"Grant is a bounty hunter and he was the only one who could find you. His methods of capture don't really represent our methods."

    "So, that means you're-"

"Yes I am the proud leader of this organization called Team Rocket."

"You're evil", Eruu quietly mutters. Giovanni walks over to his chair and sits down. Eruu walks over and stands in front of his desk.

"Not quite", Giovanni responded. "You see the world owes us something. It owes us power, a unlimited vast array of power. We merely use Pokemon to help us achieve our goals. It's no different then a Pokemon trainer using Pokemon to become champions. I need your help, you have that desire to become very powerful. With my help you can achieve that dream and make it a reality."

"How can I help you?" Eruu questions, uncertain how he could help him.

With you by our side, I am certain we will achieve the impossible. We will become a force to be feared. People will finally learn to respect Pokemon for the incredible power they posses. We are going to show them!"

    Eruu tilts is head forward.

"Is this it? Is this what I really want?" He tells himself consciously. He looks back at Giovanni heavily focused on him.

"As long as no Pokemon are hurt, I would gladly love to show people what Pokemon can really accomplish", Eruu responded.

"Excellent. With you leading the charge. You will certainly show people what Pokemon are truly capable of."

    "I'm going to lead?"

"Yes. From here on out you are to be known as a Team Rocket Executive."

"An Executive?!" Eruu is stunned how much authority Giovanni is placing on him. This can only mean that Giovanni has full trust and confidence in him.

"You and Domino are my current Executives now."

    "Were is my Salamence?"

"We don't have it. Grant is the one who captured your Pokemon."

"Were is he?!" Eruu angrily questions. Giovanni smirks back at Eruu.

"I think Domino can help you with that."

    ***
Eruu and Domino approach a lonely cabin in the middle of the woods. Eruu kicks the door open and finds Grant sitting down smoking a cigarette. Eruu and Domino rush into the cabin.

"Were is Salamence!?" Demands Eruu as he angrily stares at Grant enjoying a smoke. Grant puts the cigarette out in the ash tray next to him and stands up.

"So Domino? Did you bring him here so I could kill him?"

"Not exactly. It seems that I'm going to have to terminate our contract." Domino tells Grant. Grant's sarcastic attitude suddenly turns serious.

"What the hell are you talking about?!" yells Grant to Domino. Eruu rushes Grant and lands a hard punch onto his face. Eruu then begins to fiercely jab his chest and stomach with his fist repeatably. He then delivers a final blow with his elbow onto his face and sends him crashing into the wall, knocking some portraits down.

How the hell did you get so strong, so quickly?! Grant yells at Eruu in amazement and anger.

"How does it feel to have the tables turned?" Eruu calmly tells him.

"Feeling confident are you?!" Grant stands up and rushes him.

"NO MATTER I'LL JUST KILL YOU THIS TIME!" Grant shouts as he rushes Eruu. Eruu steps to the side and Grant's punch misses him. Domino walks over to Grant's couch and sits on it.

"Hurry up and kill him Eruu. I haven't got all day."

Eruu grabs Grant by the neck with his right hand. Eruu's eyes begin to glow red and the veins in his right arm begin to glow purple. He picks up Grant by the neck, choking him. Eruu look onto his eyes, finally able to see the fear in them he smirks.

"Now, what was that about making me suffer?" Grant gasps for air, he tries to remove Eruu's hand from his neck with his both hands and flails his legs in and out. Eruu begins to laugh manically.

"Ah ha ha ha ha! Look at you! Gasping for air! Do you want to breathe?" Eruu lets go of him and Grant falls on the floor.

"*Cough* What the hell did they *Cough* do to you?"

Eruu reaches inside his jacket and pulls out knife from his waist.

"No! Kid don't do it!" Grant tries to crawl away and get up. "They'll just betray you like they did to -ARAAAGH!!" Domino looks over the couch and sees the blade stuck in Grant's torso.

Eruu sticks the blade deeper and deeper inside his chest.

"How does it feel? I though you would have been begging me to kill you by now, guess not."

Domino stands up and walks towards the table in front of her to retrieve the suitcase of money and
a pokeball. Eruu pulls the blade from his torso and Grant's lifeless body falls over. Eruu cleans the blade with his jacket and stains it with Grant's blood. His eyes and veins return to normal as he places the knife back into jacket. Domino opens the suitcase and finds all the money still there.

"Good thing he hasn't spent the money yet. I can finally get all those cute outfits I saw in the mall."

"Let's get the hell out of here." Eruu softly tells her as passes in front of her." Domino looks back at Grant's lifeless body then turns to Eruu walking away.

    "Hey! Wait up Eruu!"

Domino catches up to and hands him Salamence's pokeball. They walk away from the cabin and disappear into the wilderness. Only one person is left on Eruu's mind, Drew.

"Team Rocket has only survived so long because our adversaries in the other regions have been dismantled by the Kanto Pokemon champion. Team Aqua, Magma, Galactic, and Plasma. Those fools couldn't hope to accomplish their goals with such incompetent leadership. It was only possible after they were destroyed that I was able to set up full operations in Hoenn, Sinnoh, and Unova. Even with Mewtwo still on the run I am still able to to conjure up the ultimate pokemon weapon. Why do I need a disobedient Pokemon clone on my side?
