The tv system was added because I really didn't have any tiles for the radio. The radio system will be used only for the Pokegear. Plus I will make it that different towns show different shows, but I think the channel select will make the game more new, modern and interactive (not sure if those are the right words to use in this case!) You can expect more from me later!
 
That sounds like a very good idea, rubyrulez, it will add a nice touch to the game. I wish you lots of luck!
 
Hi! I've played the demo (it was GREAT, btw), but I noticed a few small problems you might want to deal with. These are purely just things I noticed that I think might help you, so if you disagree or just don't want to use my advice, then don't use it.

Your towns seemed to have to much open space in them. Perhaps they should be condensed a little more. And the maps that are lined with blue just looked... funny. Perhaps you ought to make a tree paralax background. Just some thoughts on the cosmetic side, not that they affect playability at all.

You might also want to note that It's currently possible to walk on top of the dark cave, if you walk over the entrance. The only other thing I could find wrong is that the demo crashed when I walked into the silver house in violet city. Appearantly a charset was missing...

Other than those things (which are really minor), the demo was great! I hope we see more of it in the future. The TV idea you were just discussing will be a GREAT addition, IMO.
 
Well, as it turns out I cant see any attachment, even the jpg's I put up there i cant see those. Anyway, I will work on the small buildings, I may just turn them into big buildings as I did for the new Cherrygrove City. I would post screens of them but im not sure if anyone would be able to see them! Can anyone see any of my screens anymore or is it just my computer?
 
I'm still able to see your screenies. I wonder why some people have trouble seeing them, it's been going around lately.

This happened to me just recently. It was all there when I left one time, and when I came back they were gone! That seems a little too odd for me. Anyway, there is nothing I can do about the funky trees except leave them funky, and as for the walking on top of dark cave, that will all be fixed when I put the entry to the dark cave map on there, so that you will warp instead of walking on top of the cave. I just fixed those little houses so now they are taller, but still 4 squares wide. If anyone else sees anything that needs improving, just tell me. I appreciate all of this feedback and it will help me make a better game!
 
Thanks for the chipset, but I actually do prefer the chipset I am currently using. I was able to fix those small houses up, and those funky trees really arent that big a deal. If theres anything else I can improve, just let me know!
 
Update: I just completed the maps for the Goldenrod Dept. Store with a working elevator! I am also thinking up ideas for new features. By the time this game is completed, it should be the fullest, most entertaining GS remake on the internet.
 
If anybody has any ideas for some extra features for this game, I am all ears! By the way, i'd like to wish everybody a happy and healthy 4th of July!
