hai guyz =D Doubts, questions and the like =\
I downloaded Version 6, tried both the Batch and GUI things f rom the Katakana folder and none of them worked =\ The GUI process created a patched game(?), but no bytes or anything, and I've been waiting for a while. The Batch didn't do anything, so...

Do you guys think I should try the "English names" folder and stop bothering you or try something else? xD

I appreaciate your work on this and any responces to this ;)

i got heart gold of youtube full eng tran.. all text by people done all ..done but the names of types like fire.ice.bug.water......
 
I don't get number 6 in GUI, I got confused.

@Micky-chan-You aren't using a good rom. The rom size should be 214,000(ish) and be by Xenophobia. Look it up on google.
 
What would completely suck is if Nintendo beats you at translating.Other than that, I'm really looking forward to this! ^,^ I especially want to play HeartGold and SoulSilver now!
 
Hi i just downloaded the rar file and wondering how i should patch the translation to the rom i have. I tried using the xDelta program and selecting hge.patch and then selcting my rom but it said something about an error. Did i do something wrong? PS i meant xDelta Gui

Has anyone figured out a fix for after Goldenrod? I keep getting the ROM FATAL CRASH message every time I make even the slightest progress. I have the right save type but It doesn't save. Any idea anyone?
 
this is perfect! i am just about to get an r4 too so i can play this without my no$gba!!!!

Nintendo made a piracy check for this game.
NO$GBA won't save it unless you save, then close the NO$GBA, then you play it again. Better you play it on desmume (you need a very best computer).
You should ask this question to another forum, an emulation forum... (I won't give the link. Against the rules.)
 
Hi!

First off, let me thank you for this semi-translation. It's really helpful; already at the 3rd badge.

Secondly, I noticed two bugs; I use DeSmuME 0.9.5 emulator. When you talk to the lady who rates your Pokemon friendliness in Goldenrod, the game crashes; likewise, teleporting in towns / not on routes crashes your game. Is this the emulator or the ROM?

And PokeGear translation would be great. It does get really confusing; also, does anyone know what the daycare man says when you have 2 Pokemon in the daycare? I can't tell if he's saying "The 2 seem to get along" or "The 2 don't seem to like each other very much". I know there's a "2" in the phrase, though.
