Pokemon: Hope (PG 14)

Lilith giggled at the two before she cuddled to Yoshi's side blushing. "Duke play nice" she said before turning her attention to Yoshi. "I don't really remember much except for when they injected me with that needle" she whispered. Duke rolled his eyes "I mean it kid I don't play" he growled before hearing his trainer and sighing "alright fine."
 
The airship was gliding through the skies as Jezebel sat and observed the crew hurrying around working at the various computers and the captain yelling orders.

"Captain, a progress report if you will" She called to the captain of the ship who was now hurrying over.

The captain now stood in front of her as she looked down upon him. "Ms Jezebel we have arrived in the Hoenn region and are cruising at an altitude of 100 metres with the cloaking device on".

"Very good captain, now if you could turn the scanners on and set them to about a 20km radius spanning out from our constant position"

"As you wish Ms Jezebel" replied the captain obediently. "You heard the Ms" he called to him crew "Turn the scanners on for a 20km radius spanning from our constant position".

"Right away captain" called the crew member who was standing at the main computer. He and he flicked a switch which brought up the sonar screen showing the area around them.

There were little red and yellow dots that appeared on the screen when the green rotating line passed over them. The yellow dots were trainers and the red dots were pokemon. The computer could tell the difference because it is said that everyone, human or pokemon, gives off an aura. This aura differs between humans and pokemon and so the computer is able to tell the difference.

"If i may captain, what exactly are we looking for?" asked the crew member.

"Allow Ms. Jezebel to answer your question" came the captains reply.

"We are looking for a group of five trainers, i think, in particular. They will all have at least one pokemon so look for a small congregation of say around 5 yellow and 5 red dots. Having said that our search wont be easy and I am currently trying to find ways to narrow our search" came Jezebels reply.

"righto then" replied the crew member and turned back to the scanner screen.

"Ms Jezebel" came a voice from behind her, it was her butler. "I beleive i heard talk that the children had recently escaped a group of rogue scientists beleived to have tried to experiment on them".

"Thankyou for that vital butler" ,which was the way she addressed him, "It could possibly bring our search to a close" she said excitedly with a little giggle. "Bring up my screen" she called to the crew member at the scanner screen.

"Right away Ms" and he flicked another button which made a transparent screen rise in front of Jezebel.

"It just so happends that i know of these scientists and have a means of contacting them" said Jezebel and with that she tapped the screen a few times, seemingly dialling a number, and waited. After a few seconds the face of a man appeard on the screen.

"WHAT, WHAT IS IT??" demanded the man. Then he realised who he was looking at and his expression changed to show he had greatly regretted the way he had just spoken. "O...oh Ms Jezebel" he suttered nervously "Its you".

"Yes it is and you would be wise to never greet me like that again" she replied angrily.

"y...yes of course Ms, what can i do for you" he asked still very nervous.

"I have heard word that you captured some children recently, yes?" asked Jezebel curiously.

"Your hearing would be correct Ms" replied the man. "But why is this of importance?" he asked her now curious himself.

"Are they still in your posession?" she asked.

"No, unfortunately they have escaped" replied the man with disdain.

"I see, tell me, how did they escape and which way were they headed?" asked Jezebel now unable to control her rising excitement.

"They were helped by one of our experiments, a scientist transformed into Riolu. However he evolved into a Lucario to help them escape, they stole one of our vans and headed west" stated the man.

"Thankyou, you have given me some vital information, good day" and before the man could say another word she pressed a button and the screen descended.

"Captain head the ship west and follow the road, keep the cloaking devices on and descend to 50 metres above ground level. Our subjects are beleived to be travelling in a van. Also they are travelling with a Lucario that was once a human, as such his dot may just be orange as the computer could possibly detect both his auras. His aura will also be stronger than the others so his dot will be larger as Lucario has a stronger aura than other humans and pokemon. LETS GO!!" she called.

"As you wish Ms Jezebel" came the captains reply. "You heard the Ms, cloaking devices on, descend to 50 metres and follow the road west".

"Right away captain" came the crews reply.

Jezebel sat in her chair observing the now buzzing deck. She was closing in on them, and soon she would be able to execute her master plan.
 
Lilith paused after she spoke before shivering and cuddling closer to Yoshi "First off promise me you'll never go to team rocket again cause when you did my heart broke and second...I have the feeling everything is going to get a lot worse than it has been" she whispered lightly as she rested her head on Yoshi's chest.
 
Yoshi put his arm around her. "I promise." Yoshi said to her. "Hang on we have a hill up ahead." The Lucario said to the group. "Why won't you stop then?!" Yoshi said a little angry before he flew into the air and landed back onto his back. "Ow that hurts!" Yoshi said sitting back up and rubbing his back. Flame happily asked "What game do you wanna play huh duke? huh duke?" Yoshi slightly shook his head with a grin. He looked up and saw a silhooute of Umbreon. "You have done well for a group of teens. But may i warn there is trouble in the clouds." He said before disappearing. Everyone in the van could hear his voice. Yoshi just sat still thinking of what his Pokemon, now deceased, said. "We should pick up the pace." Lucario A.K.A Luke said to his friend as his friend sped up and the van went slightly faster.
 
Lilith smiled when he put his arm around her before they were thrown into the air as the van went up a hill. Lilith giggled when she landed on top of Yoshi ending up sitting on his lap when he sat up she giggled more relaxing against his chest smiling happily. After hearing Umbreon's voice Lilith sighed sadly looking up at Yoshi. "You decide young one." Duke said looking at Flame.

"CAPTAIN!" called the crew member who was monitoring the radar "WE HAVE A VISUAL ON THE TARGETS, THEY ARE ABOUT 5KM AHEAD OF US!"

"EXCELLENT" cried the captain, who then turned to Jezebel "Ms Jezebel, your orders?" he asked Jezebel who was tapping away at her screen.

Jezebel looked up from her screen. "Set the engines to maximum power and notify me when the distance has been closed to 1km" and she returned to her work.

"As you wish Ms Jezebel" came the captains reply. "ENGINES TO MAXIMUM POWER AND NOTIFY US WHEN WE HAVE A GAP OF 1KM" yelled the captain to his crew.

"RIGHT AWAY CAPTAIN" came the crews reply as they rushed about pulling levers and pushing buttons. There was a loud whirring sound as the engines were pushed to maxmimum power and the airship sped up.

"Ms Jezebel, if i may ask, what do intend to do once we reach our target?" asked her butler.

"Once we are about 1km behind them I will continue the rest of the distance in one of the smaller aircraft we have on board so that I may fly just above the tree tops, see if we do that in this then the wind gusts created from the fans will move the treetops which they will be sure to notice and become suspicous" was Jezebels reply.

"Well do be careful Ms" responded her butler. "Im sure the boss would be most annoyed if anything were to happen to his best executive"

"Im always careful" replied Jezebel

Now, if she could just thigure out a way to join them her plan would be one step closer to success.
 
(OCC: This isn't the one event I have planned just an idea I had for added injury and drama)

Lilith smiled at Yoshi before her smile fell an explosion in the road in front of them sent the van off the road. The van did a complete roll all the way over and Lilith screamed right before her head slammed hard against the inside of the car and she blacked out. Duke growled as everyone in the van was thrown around it and he grabbed onto the back of Flames neck to protect the small Pokemon from harm.
 
"ACK!" Flame yelled as the car flew up. When it landed the van was upside down. Yoshi woke up after the scientist and Luke. They had crawled out and picked up Flame and Duke. Yoshi slowly got up and grabbed Lilith and Natalie. He dragged them out then collapsed. He sent out Magick who used her head to flip the van over. Yoshi returned her before getting up and reaching into his backpack. He took out a tool box and started fixing up the truck. He kept asking for the tools he needed from the scientist. When he finished working he had dirt on his shirt and face. He looked down as Lilith slowly began to regain consciousness. "Finally up sleepy head?" He said wiping his hands with a rag before handing out his hand to help her up.
 
As Lilith's eyes opened slowly she heard "Finally up sleepy head?" and when her vision cleared she saw Yoshi with dirt all over his shirt and face extending his hand down to her. She took his hand and once he helped her up she hugged him not letting go and not caring about the dirt.

"Are you OK?" she whispered worry filled her voice as she shook lightly What if the van had been a little farther up she thought nuzzling her face into his neck.
 
"I'm fine. Don't worry about me. You should help tend to Duke. He took the hit that Flame would have taken. He looks badly injured. Looks like Flames about to wake up. This wont end well." Yoshi said and handed earmuffs to Luke, the scientist, Lilith, And Natalie. He then put one on himself then took a step back. "D...Du...Duk.....DUKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Flame started to wail. "WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!" He started crying which could be heard from 200 miles away. "Man thats loud!" Yoshi said not sure if anyone else heard. He covered his ears. This was going to be a long day.
 
Lilith nodded flinching when Flame started crying she knelt by her injured Pokemon using first a revive and then a max potion on him. "There you go" she said quietly patting his head as Duke looked at the crying Flame and stood going over to him and pushing against the small Pokemon's head with his nose. Lilith smiled at that and stood going back to Yoshi's side and kissing his cheek.
 
Flame snivled before stopping. "Yay your okay!" Flame said going next to Duke then laying down. "I'm tired. Good night Duke." Flame said as he began to go into the world of dreams. Yoshi blushed then starred at the Lucario and Scientist. "When will we be able to move again?" The Lucario asked Yoshi. "By tomorrow. We should eat and get some rest first. Let the van get warmer as we eat." Yoshi said before looking down at Flame and smiling. "Hey Duke. Feel like a dad yet?" Snivs said as he popped out of his Pokeball. Yoshi picked up Natalie and put her back in the van. The Lucario and Scientist went in the front seats and turned the heater on. Yoshi then grabbed Lilith by the hand and went inside the van before sitting next to Lilith. Yoshi snickered as the van was big enough to fit Flame, Snivs, And Duke. It even had enough for a few more Pokemon. But not Magick for that matter. Yoshi watched as Duke had picked Flame up by the scruff of his neck and bring him inside. Flame looked peaceful when he slept. Except there was a dark smirk on the sleeping Pokemon's face. something bad was happening to Flame while he slept. But no one had a clue about it.
 
Lilith smiled cuddling to Yoshi's side as Nixie popped out of her Pokeball settling herself next to Snivs. "A little yeah...you'll be feeling the same when you and Nixie have kids" Duke said earning a blush from Nixie. "So what did I miss?" Nixie asked she had no idea what had happened while she was sleeping.

"Hey Yoshi...remember when I told you there'd be no world for me without you?" she sent to him as she blushed now sitting on his lap just to be closer to him.
 
"Yea I remember Lilith." Yoshi sent back to her as he blushed from her sitting on her lap. "Oh the van flipped over and nearly killed everyone." Snivs said to Nixie. "But me and Nixie aren't planning to have kids any time soon. Maybe in a few more years. But its not up to me. Its not my body. Its Nixie's choice." Snivs said pointing at Nixie with his nose. "What's wrong with Flame. He looks some what different." Snivs said looking down at the little Pokemon. "So every thing has been normal. Nearly killed like always. Nothing major." Snivs said to Nixie after looking at Flame knowing nothing wicked can go through such a tiny Pokemon. He was wrong at that matter. Flame started tossing and turning. His eyes closed tighter.
 
Lilith smiled resting her head on his chest "I said there would be no world without you because you are my world Yoshi" she sent back blushing. Nixie nodded "alright" she said before looking at Flame tossing and turning "He's defiantly not okay" she said kneeling by him as Duke watched over them a look of worry shockingly in his eyes.
 
"I know Lilith. I have no world without you because you are my world to. I have no one else to love if you die. So i'll wait for death to come." He sent back struggling on what to say. "urgh......" Flame said before a smile crossed his face and he hopped up. He looked around for a moment locking his eyes on Snivs. "What is he starring at me for?" Snivs said confused. Flame knocked Nixie and Duke away and charged at Snivs with Flame wheel. "WHAT THE?!?!" Snivs said as he was tackled into Yoshi and Lilith interrupting their conversation. "Not again!" Yoshi said as Flame charged at Lilith he jumped in the way before wrestling Flame to the ground. He had got burnt by the flame wheel but he was okay. Snivs didn't look okay. He twitched on the floor. Yoshi tied up Flame. Flame had a strange look in his eyes. They weren't their normal color. It was a crazy red color. Someone had done what they did to Umbreon. That ugly memory raced back at Yoshi but he knew he could save Flame from it. He sat down and thought. "L...looks like the perfect kid for you. At least if he was trying to protect us and not hurt us. He seems a little to friendly for your taste. But you can manage. He looks like he can be very OVER protective like you are." Snivs said still twitching on the floor with a smile on his face.
 
Nixie went to Snivs side and kissed his head "You OK?" she whispered. Duke shook his head looking at Flame "What just happened?" he asked confused as to what made Flame act that way. Lilith crawled to Yoshi and hugged him tears in her eyes "W...wha..whats doing this...to...o..our Po..pokemon" she whispered starting to cry softly.
 
"I'm okay." Snivs said lifting up part of his body. "Team Rocket is always near when this happens. Maybe something Umbreon told us might help us. There is trouble in the clouds? Is that a clue. I...I don't know." Yoshi said looking at Flame who just came back to the world. "Tepig?" He said confused to Yoshi. "What happened huh Duke?" Flame said looking at Duke. "Why am I tied up?" Flame said waiting for Yoshi to untie him. Yoshi starred into the Pokemon's eyes. It had regain its colors. He reached over and yanked on the knot releasing Flame who went next to Duke confused.
 
Duke looked at Flame "I'm not really sure. You attacked Snivs and tried to attack Lilith thats why Yoshi tied you up" he said. Lilith nodded "I don't know...I just hope nothing happens to endanger us again" she whispered going back to sitting on his lap. Nixie smiled at Snivs "I'm glad your alright" she said before kissing him.
 
"Really? I would never do that though." Flame said to Duke confused on why he would act that way. Snivs blushed when Nixie kissed him. When they stopped his belly started to growl. Followed by everyone else's. Snivs sighed. Yoshi got up and went outside to go search for food. When he came back he had berries and fruits in his hands and gave everybody some. He ate his up and leaned against the seat. "Go when you feel its ready to go okay Luke." The scientist said to the Lucario. Yoshi laid down on the back seat and left some room for Lilith since there was only two seats. One for Natalie and the other one for him and Lilith. He fell asleep quickly before hearing the roar of the engines. Luke went slow at first to test it then went a little faster. Enough for us to not fall off the seats. Snivs wrapped himself around Nixie as he yawned after eating and fell asleep. Flame looked up at Duke for permission to sleep by his side.
