Pokemon: Hope (PG 14)

Lilith hung up the Pokegear a tear falling down her face (N..no. Yoshi I'm doing this because I love you) she sent telepathically while saying aloud to the Pokemon. "I'm trading myself for Yoshi. When the trade goes down act don't worry about me. Worry about Yoshi"

Nixie looked up eyes widened before she looked down "I..have to do as she says" Nixie whispered looking at Snivs her eyes pleading him to go along with Lilith's plans.
 
Aero got up. "Of course Snivs! But you don't owe me anything," he said and ran over to Snivs. When he ran he stepped on Natalie's leg, startling her awake. "What do you need me to do?" Aero asked Snivs. Natalie watched Aero and then looked out the window.
 
"Since I don't want Nixie to worry lets talk some where more private." Snivs said walking outside where no one can hear him and Aero talking. "We should sneak in at first. Act like normal Team Rocket Pokemon. Then once we find Yoshi we knock out the gaurds before they set off the alarm and grab Yoshi and get out of there." Snivs told Aero his whole plan. He made sure Nixie wasn't listening but he wasn't sure if she got out the cabin and hid somewhere where he couldn't see her. He began walking around in circles waiting for Aero to reply and see what he thinks.
 
Nixie had followed and hid her eyes filling with tears before she ran inside just as Lilith was ready to go. Lilith looked down at Nixie and judged the look in her Pokemon's eyes before calling her into her Pokeball before leaving the cabin and heading toward Rustboro at a sprint Duke running alongside her. Right before she reached the trade she called Nixie out. "You two stay here" she said before walking into sight alone.
 
Yoshi woke up again being dragged out into the streets. "Damn it Lilith why did you come here." He said as she came into view. He jerked on the ropes and the Grunts just held them tighter. He pulled even harder knowing it futile to resist but did it anyways. He got a kick in the face for doing so. His mouth began to bleed. "Damn it, Damn it, Damn it!" He yelled. He jerked on the ropes causing one of the Grunts to fall. With one hand free he punched the other. He yelled "RUN LILITH RUN!!!" He said as he kicked Ryan in the face. "How do you like it?" He said before adding the finishing kick to Ryan which knocked him out. He untied the ropes and tied them around Ryan and took his gun. "You will face the death my Girlfriend would of faced." He said dragging Ryan and dropping him in front of Lilith. "What should we do with him?" Yoshi said wanting to kill him but also wanting answers.
 
Lilith didn't answer what she did instead was throw her arms around his neck crying "I'm sorry!" over and over again trembling she was terrified that he was mad at her. Nixie looked at them sadly she herself was wondering if Snivs had noticed she was nowhere to be found and knew that once he did he's get worried.
 
Yoshi put his hand around her. "I'm not angry anymore Lilith. We should get back, The others might be worried about us." He said picking up Ryan and headed back to the Cabin. With Duke and Nixie hot on their trail. Snivs was explaining the plan to Aero once again before seeing Nixie come back. "How did you???" He asked not knowing what to say because she sneaked pass him. "Never mind Aero." Snivs said closing his eyes and falling to the floor and saw Ryan. He was tempted to kill him but didn't without his trainers orders. "Lilith, Natalie. What do you think we should do to him?"
 
Nixie went slowly over to Snivs "A..are you mad i snuck past you" she whispered kneeling in front of him. Lilith stuck close to Yoshi after getting him an ice pack for his eye and lip "he might know something that can help us" she said softly. I'm sorry i made you mad at me she sent telepathically to Yoshi.
 
That doesn't matter right now Lilith. We can finally get some answers. Snivs looked at Nixie. "Why would I be mad?" He asked as Umbreon came out of no where. He looked different. Ryan let out a smile. Yoshi was confused at first but then soon understood. "Guys get away from Umbreon." He said quietly but Umbreon grabbed him and pulled him towards a cliff nearby. "ACK!?!?!?" Yoshi screamed as Umbreon jumped off of the cliff holding Yoshi. Yoshi's hands flew up in the air as he flew down. His backpack came off and got stuck to a branch at the top of the cliff. He was still praying when he hit the ground. He looked dead but hanged on to a string of life. So did Umbreon.
 
"YOSHI! NO!" Lilith screamed she couldn't lose him..she couldn't. She turned just as Ryan snapped the ropes and pulled a gun on her. They were close to the cliff. "Yoshi if your still alive your girlfriend is about to die!" he yelled evilly as Lilith wrestled for the gun after a moment Yoshi could hear a gunshot and then silence as Nixie ran down tending to both Yoshi and Umbreon.
 
Yoshi heard the gunshot but didn't know who was shot. He stood blankly into the sky and said "Lilith....." He starred up as he saw Nixie's face. He smiled for a moment and he was now holding onto a thread of his life. He din't care if he died. He thought Lilith was dead. He let the thread of his life that was left start to drift away. He tapped a button on his pokeball as Rave popped out and flew up to see who was shot. Umbreon laid there waiting to die. He didn't care if he died. He just couldn't believe what he did to Yoshi, He felt awful. He waited to die seeing his two children and his wife. He smiled ready to enter what he called heaven. He was happy but sad. Happy to be with his family. But sad to leave another.
 
Lilith's eyes were wide as she looked at the gun in her hand and the dead body in front of her before she fell to her knees and before Rave flew up there the sounds of her sobs for Yoshi rose through the air. She thought Yoshi was dead and her sobs increased in volume, Nixie didn't give up tending to both Yoshi and Umbreon. "Umbreon don't give up Snivs needs you!"
 
Umbreon heard Nixie's voice trail off. "Goodbye Nixie. Tell Snivs and the others I will miss th...." Is all that he managed to say before he died. Yoshi felt Umbreon die. He felt what Umbreon felt. Umbreon was a part of him. Now that he had died. A part of Yoshi had died which made holding on harder. He saw a light that flashed 3 times before he felt the urge to walk towards it. He couldn't stop. He had lost control of his body as he saw the shape of the legendary Pokemon Arceus. He continued walking towards the light forcing his body to go slower. He hoped that Nixie could save him before it was to late. Umbreon's spirit watched from above. He grew wings which were as dark as his fur. He watched Lilith and Yoshi and whispered into Yoshi's ear "It is not your time to die Yoshi." Nixie could hear the voice to. It was speaking to Yoshi out of thin air.
 
Nixie's eyes widened tears falling down her face when Umbreon died as she worked harder to save Yoshi. He can't die Lilith needs you she thought knowing what she was going to do after making sure Yoshi and Lilith were okay. She was going to find Snivs and just collapse into his arms crying.
 
Yoshi groaned and sat up. "Nixie is that you?" He said as his vision started coming into place. He picked up Nixie and started the long trek up the mountain. He had put Umbreons body in his bag. He was going to bury Umbreon and give him a proper memorial. He got to the top and said. "I'm sorry I had you worried." He said to Lilith. "Umbreons dead." He said dropping Nixie to the ground and sitting down. He is the only one facing the death of his Pokemon so far. He misses Umbreon the most out of the deaths. Umbreon reminded him of his father. His father had an Umbreon but he never returned one day. Yoshi stood on the ground wiping tears away thinking of Umbreon. When i first saw you Umbreon you reminded me of my dad. When i caught you you were a part of our family. Even though your gone. Your still part of our family. I will miss you. Umbreon. I love you like a brother. And i will always keep you in my heart and soul. He said getting up and walking away. "I need to be alone" He said as he dashed away.
 
Lilith looked up as Yoshi ran away and cried harder because of how much pain he was in and the fact Umbreon was dead. Nixie watched helplessly crying as well as her trainer hugged her knees sobbing her heat out still hurting so much.
 
Yoshi grabbed a shovel. He cried as he dug up the grave of Umbreon. He looked at Umbreon not wanting him to leave him. But it was to late. "THOSE DAMN ROCKETS WILL PAY!!!!!!!!!!!" He screamed loud enough for the whole entire forest to hear. He gently placed Umbreon in the hole. He buried him then grabbed a rock. He engraved the tombstone. Umbreon

Father, Friend, Brother. Yoshi moved away from Umbreons grave and silently went back to Lilith. He kissed her so that he could try to get the awful memory of today out. Snivs walked outside and saw Nixie crying. He didn't see Umbreon anywhere. He walked up to Nixie and said, "Wheres Umbreon?" He said slightly anxious to see Umbreon. Umbreon was more like a Father to Snivs. He did love the old man. But he also loved Nixie.
 
Nixie cried harder when Snivs asked where Umbreon was. She collapsed into his arms "He's dead!" she cried. Lilith blushed when Yoshi kissed her she was still upset but kissed him back clutching him.
 
Snivs opened his eyes wide. And then he closed them as a waterfall of tears came out of his eyes. "Umbreon. No.....why....." he was sad and nothing could hold him back he grabbed Nixies hand hand laid on the ground and stood at the sky hoping it would make him feel better. It didn't because the clouds took shape of Umbreon. He heard a voice. "You two....make a good couple." The voice giggled. "I don't want my death to come between that. Please Snivs....Nixie....Hold in there for me....and destroy team rocket for me to." The voice of the now dead Umbreon said to Snivs and Nixie.
 
Nixie sniffed crying harder at that as she buried her face in Snivs chest. I'm sorry I was to late to save you Umbreon she thought blaming herself.

Lilith pulled back blushing as she buried her face in Yoshi's shoulder still crying. "I'm sorry" she whispered blaming herself as well. If she hadn't come up with her plan the Ryan never would have been here and Umbreon never would have died.
