    Introduction:

    Hi. My name is lukeh. Some of you know me, most of you dont. When I came here, I had 2 things in mind:
    This hack
    And my new team, TEAM Shadows

    Mostly this hack. Unfortunately, if you want to help out, you have to be invited by me. I will only invite someone who has exceptional skills in scripting, spriting, or Hex Editing. I might make exceptions. I might not even include anyone else. It all depends.

    About my hack:

    Hack name:
    Pokemon Mist
    Hack of:
    Fire Red

    Setting:
    Johto region

    Character Bio:
    Age: 14 Different Sprite: Yes (SPRITER WANTED!)

    Plot:
     Starts just like the normal fire red. But when you go downstairs, its your birthday. You get a few presents and then your mom gives you a letter. You open it, and it is from a pokemon researcher asking you to come in so they can use you in their studies. You walk over to the next city to see the researchers and they give you pokemon, espeon and umbreon. They tell you you can keep them and then they give you a pokedex, 4 pokeballs, a town map, and some more things that i have yet to think of... Also, over the period of the game they will give you things like pokeflute and itemfinder in the new mail system. More will be added but now I am still thinking of ideas.

    But it 's a hack... so it couldn't go there the games you create using RPG Maker, Sphere etc...


    Hack looks good btw
     
    I am making the demo now. I'll get a few screen shots soon. But I hit one major problem. SCRIPTING. I don't know anything about it. I tried learning multiple times and different tutorials. Nothing works. It's hard to do something you don't enjoy.
     
    Espeon and Umbereon are pretty strong Pokemon, maybe to strong for starters.
     
    Hmm... Good point... Maybe I should make them come later in the game...

    Okay. Some glitches I still have to work out after applying that patch... It's going to take a bit. Good thing nobody is waiting for me to get this done or anything!
     
    What kind of glitches? Map glitches? That's because they are trying to display the tiles, you actually have to overwrite those maps yourself. (I can help if you want.)

    What? Isn't it Green Charizard's ROM-base? That's what I heard.

    Anyways, Eeveon is right. Don't give me credit. Just give credit to X-Buster, Forgotten Memory, and MAYBE Green Charizard.

    I don't remember Green Charizard making it.
    In Forgotten Studios, that Rom Base is there, but it's the original with lighter palettes.
    That on was revamped by X-Buster.
     
    Okay, I will give credit to the makers, and yes, the maps were messed up a lot in some areas. All pokemon centers have dissapeared... I don't know how to get them back. Oh and I hope you dont mind dragoon but I put you on my team.

    Oh and I cant show any screenshots yet. I need a scriptor first so I can at least get the demo I am working on out. I'll try to get the screenshots out after I am done the second level. Does anyone know how to make the boat on the islands go to more and less places. 6 island is COMPLETELY gone. And I want to add 4 more islands.

    Wow, I am not even on the 3rd page?! Well anyways, I am going to keep a log of my progress. Please join if you can. I need help.

    Check my album for screenshots. I have them all there even though there is only one official one. I will post more later.
