I don't mean to be a downer... but it just looks like you took fifteen minutes to map places that have already been imagined with graphics that have already been made, creating a few text events and slapping that glowing "sun" effect on top. So, it's confusing to me that so many people have posted such good feedback. There isn't even a good story... or a single original idea. I'm just sorta peeved.
 
yeah ND, me and my friend have already discussed the overuse of the sunrays lol.
It maybe will only be in the first 2 towns? and then different ones? idk yet.

and no, not the GTS.
try thinking back to GSC...

And i am like a huge GSC fan and even i have no clue what that building is.

hm....could it be that one place where did you battle with yellow, misty and silver? Or ... something like that?^^

What in the world are you talking about?
It takes place in Kanto. The places aren't going to be orignal because they were already made!
There are going to be different buildings and places.
The sun ray effect is going to adjusted as AR said.
And there isn't one single orignal idea?
Tell what the pikachu event is then? Or how about the building in Viridian?
This game is getting good feedback because obviously they are seeing more then you do, and maybe that it's a good game.
I don't know if you make games, but it's work. It takes time.
I think you should be more respectful towards this game and AR. -_-
 
A_R can i tell them what the cool building is please. and also im almost nearly finished with the over world sprites...yay and another thing great screens..lol

In GSC you were able to battle a trainer once a day in that building...

Atomic is your game able to encounter shiny pokemon?
It looks really difficult to make something like that happen.
 
Idk, I haven't really tried doing a shiny event.
But shiny pokemon are capturable. :P

Why? Did you have a special event in mind?

His is more of a kid.
And your not going to be battling much higher then that when you first start.

Nah just an idea, I dont know if your intrested.
But really it's something you should focus on later in the game.
 
@Tialgo: We may have to add some more shading to your sprites.
But this will be accepted.
Since you will also appear later in the game, I'm gonna downgrade Butterfree to a Metapod.
And change pinsir with someone else. Pinsir can come later. who do you want in place of him?

@Crossel: What exactly do you have in mind 0_o

Well, if you can provide a decent sprite, Crossel, KageX or I can edit it into looking good for the game.
