One thing we see introduced in Black & White and one of the main attractions of Nimbasa City is the Pokemon Musical!

You dress up your Pokemon, dance with other Pokemon and you get scored on your performance and props your Pokemon is dressed up in.

    So, answer some questions:

What do you love about Pokemon Musicals?

Favorite props to dress your Pokemon in?

Is there a signature Pokemon you use in a Musical?

Would ever participate in more Musicals in the future?

Do you think Musicals are as good as Contests or Pokeathlon?

I honestly have not used the "Musicals" part of Black. Similarly I have not used the "Pokeathalon" in SoulSilver.

I should try both out once I complete my pokedex on both of them though.

They both just sort of seem like gimmicky minigames, but that is probably a bad judgement to make since I have not given either of them fair time and trial.

They're terrible now but would be much better on a game where the Pokémon aren't represented by sprites flapping about like paper dolls.

Better concept than building contests that require totally different movesets to battles though.

What do you love about Pokemon Musicals?

None. it is not my kind of thing.

Favorite props to dress your Pokemon in?

Hmmm.. Maybe the electric guitar? It's the only prop I remember.

Is there a signature Pokemon you use in a Musical?

Well, I only have particptd in the mscal once, using my Munna.

Would ever participate in more Musicals in the future?

No. for me, it is kinda plain, and boring.

Do you think Musicals are as good as Contests or Pokeathlon?

I will be biased here becaue for me pOkeathlin is the thing to do in HGSS>

What do I love about Pokemon Musicals? Well, for starters, it's an entirely different take on the Super Contests in Sinnoh, but less complicated than even the contests in Hoenn. It's all about picking your target audience and giving them what they came to see.

Favorite props? I really don't have any, but I seem to have developed a taste for the Evening Soiree, so white/black cape, top hat, cane and other elegant-leaning props.

Signature Pokemon in a musical? Definitely Krookodile. Having two arm slots to use for appeals as well as a wide range of body slots are a huge plus. (Also, that Krookodile is the first Pokemon I caught and then raised to level 100!)

More Musicals in the future? I think that you have to do it often enough to gain enough fame for more plays than the initial four, but I'd like to see some more tangible rewards. So that's a maybe.

Musicals as good as Contests/Pokeathlon? Better than Contests, worse than Pokeathlon.

Contests required you to carefully groom your Pokemon's condition and moveset, then play prediction games with the AI in order to win over the crowd or prevent others from doing the same and building an insurmountable lead. I still have yet to touch a Sinnoh Super Contest. (Voltage? Three judges? Argh.)

Pokeathlon is equal parts your team's composition/lineup and your own grasp of the strategies pertinent to each event, plus there's always the motivation to beat your own event record, course record, or make one more Pokemon a Medalist. This never-ending possibility of improvement is what keeps me coming back to the Pokeathlon even after I got the same Armaldo into all five picture frames in Emerald.

What do you love about Pokemon Musicals?
You dress up your pokemon or get new props.
Favorite props to dress your Pokemon in?
Top hat, cape, bow, glasses, rose and umbrella.
Is there a signature Pokemon you use in a Musical?
    Yes, Haxorus.
Would ever participate in more Musicals in the future?
maybe, but it mainly depends if there are competions
Do you think Musicals are as good as Contests or Pokeathlon?
contests because you normally dress your pokemon like in contests but you don't use moves.

What do you love about Pokemon Musicals?
Not much; yet I'll admit only that there's that one musical (I think the one with the 'Cool' theme) that has a pretty good music to go with the it...

Favorite props to dress your Pokemon in?
Um...I guess the Black Cape and other Magician props?

Is there a signature Pokemon you use in a Musical?
No, since i'm not that interested in it most of the time...

Would ever participate in more Musicals in the future?
Perhaps any new Musicals downloaded from the Pokemon Global link, or extreme boredom...

Do you think Musicals are as good as Contests or Pokeathlon?
The musicals are quite boring,I mean yeah I'll try out mostly for any new downloadable ones but other than that, I feel there's no other incentive to do them. At least in HGSS the Pokeathlon felt more enjoyable to accomplish. Plus, there were some nice rewards there and went hand-in-hand with the Apricorns and the Apricorn Juice function.

The contests on the other hand...eh, they weren't as easy as I thought they were going to be...

I'm not even sure if I've been in the building where the musicals are held (unless it has been out of my control in a cut-scene or something). I liked the Pokeathlon in HGSS, but that's the only 'non-battling' contest that I've even tolerated, in all honesty. Maybe I'll give this a go... but saying that, I probably won't, unfortunately.

Well, I don't really love the Musicals in any form, I just don't really care for the attractions that come each generation, (including contests and Pokeathlon), but if I must pick one I pick the contests and Pokeathlon, I think they were more fun,due to the fact you could interact more.

The few times I went on contests I always used my Audino; but, since my White cartridge isn't working for whatever reason, and I don't plan to go to them anymore, but since I didn't enjoy them very much I guess it didn't do much harm

I never really liked Musicals; I found them boring compared to the Pokeathlon and the (Super) Contests. During my playthroughs of Black/White, I only took part in the Musical once using my starters. I wouldn't do Musicals in the future because they're just...boring.

I enjoyed my experience with the musicals, they were fun at first while you collected different things to dress up in but after a while when there weren't many left that you DIDN'T have, well... it became boring. tbh I just get amused by how the Pokemon look when they're dressed up, lol. Hydreigon is definitely one of the most amusing to dress up, aaand there was another but I can't remember it. Pokeathlon was more fun, contests were boring, musicals are just in the middle but more forgettable so idk. :(

I think they should have included contests this generation. The musicals are cute, but are boring to watch. I've only entered a few and most the time I used my Scraggy. He's just extra cute with his tie and top hat. :)
