Pokemon Mysteries of Arceus

    POKEMON MYSTERIES OF ARCEUS
    THIS IS NOT A HACK LIKE MANY OTHER FAN GAMES HEAR US OUT U DAMN HACK IDIOTS

    What i am tring to say is that i am looking for a team that is willingly able to help me i understand stuff about the program but scripting and spriting are my weakpoints. If and one is willingly able to help me plz pm or aim me (aim at the bottom)

    -and ppl who knows how do deal with rmxp realy well (hopefully pros) just to help me if i need any

    This game is about the main character after the intro sequence there is the character dreaming about Arceus (The god of all Pokemon). When dreaming about Arceus he seen his father, and this Mysterious man named John (The Galatic leader Cyrus), ( need spriters to customize him). Well the main character has this power called the Kikousen (the ability to see legendary pokemon. The character has many dreams each one is a clue to get to the Mysterious Cave Of Memories (were Arceus is located) and were his dad is. Well John tries to take the power away from him and the only way he can do it is by beating him in a battle with Giritiana (all of you know him as the demension traveler) but i n my fangame he is the Evil god of pokemon. I am tring to add his shadow pokemon armoda and Jhon uses giritina to turn Arceus evil and control his powers to take control of the pokemon world.

    The region is the Chaillion region 1% done only 2 towns and 2 routes tring to learn how to make events better. Some movie sences for the pokemon movie fan and if I am able to get a hold of that dual screen I will inclued the dp battle system and so on if I have a skilled Spriter.
    Other People working on there games If you can help me I will help you back I dont know how but I will.

    Dude im learning how to do it im a noob a spriting so dont try 2 rash and no actually im making the cities and tring to learn how to map and edit sprites scripting is realy hard but besides that the kedolve tiles set was useful

    If your still learning dont make a thread. If you dont know how to work with the program then you shouldnt be making a game.
     
    no not that i know how to work with it but im saing im learning scripting i have the general concept of events and for spriting i dont think i can do it so im asking the help from ppl if they can help me in some parts i dun understand

    Just a few points you should clear up.
     
    You can't request a team until noticeable progresses are made.
     
    Sacré Dieu! This entire thread is full of people telling the new person to give up and sod off. What an utter bunch of... I can't say.

    Not once did I see anyone welcoming him to the world of game developing, nor encouraging him to keep at his project so he'll get better at it. You were once all newbies yourself, remember. How do you think it feels to be told to go away just because you don't have quite as much experience as someone else at something?

    I support any new game-maker, regardless of the quality of game they'll end up producing, for the simple fact that they're contributing to the community. With more (or any) encouragement, newbies may stay around longer, learn more and become better at making games.

    He never said that. It's not mandatory for new gamers to use Kyledove's tiles, you know (but of course you know, you just assume you're the only one who does).


    Excuse me if this post sounded bitter, but, well, it is. Why people even think about joining this place when they'll just get barraged by comments like these is beyond me.
     
    Some points to the thread posters:

    @ Destined: SO WHAT?! Kyldove is the easiest one to find with D/P tiles ATM. He too is one off the best in tile making.

    @ PokemonOI: If you want to gain experience, you must make those experience! Better said, if you want to learn to make a game, make a game! That's the way I learned it. And now, I'm making a remake of my first game in the RMXP. And it's really better then it began.

    @ The others: Help him, will ya? If you pick on him you will 1. Regret it. 2. Make this topic useless. Zingzags made this topic to gain help. Not critism!

    @ Maruno: Good to see someone who gives me this thoughts to say all this. I am with you and Zingzags.
     
    thank you dude im about to edit the thread and at least there are some good people in this site well im
    kinda skilled with the program scripting, spriting, and mapping are the weakest points but those stuff are essential to a game.

    Kyledove's tiles are becoming so overused (but that won't stop me from using them as I was one of the few people who first started using them for Fan Games*). Your choice whether you use them or not.

    @Maruno I said no such thing, I was only saying he was pretty much asking for other people to make the game for him (well it seemed like that when I saw the list of people zingzags needed to help him).

    @zingzags if your doing at least 2 of those things on your list then I won't annoy you and I'll wish you good luck. Sorry for my previous post/s.

    *And I am pretty sure about this, I remember at first only me and Waudby were using them for our fan games. Then heaps of other people decided to jump on the bandwagon.

    I agree with this, they are becoming overused, and people do not even make any extra tiles or even edit them.

    zingzagzs: I recommend using the kyledove tiles but making edits or scratch tiles with them as well, this will show people your creativity and hopefully will gain you a bit more respect in the community.
     
    Well I am adding some stuff that Kyledove's tiles sets do not have and tring 2 make my own so I can be different from others insead of constantly relying on some one to update. (adding platnium tileset)
    And its alright because it kinda pissed me off when u sed that I wanted other ppl 2 make it for me I just want there help thats all (scripting impossible)...

    So let's start with something a bit smaller, what kind of scripting help do you need? And would you be willing to learn if someone taught you instead of them doing it for you?
