well, i started the original of this "Pokemon Crimson" a while ago, but it got stuffed, so i started again, this time with a different name "Pokemon Nitro"

Well, i've just finsihed a couple of maps, the next BETA should be out soon

Pokemon Nitro BETA 1.2

BETA Information:
The first BETA goes up-to the first Gym, now i hope that there are going to be 10 BETAS in total, 1 for every Gym, and another 2 for Victory Road, ect, so the first BETA only goes up-to to first gym, but enjoy the Map Remakes, also, if you don't think that i re-did the maps enough, then just say so

:pokeball:When you Exit Docklands City for the first Time, the border will change to grass, but leave some water, this is because the 2 Borders are Different, so i'm going to see if i can change that
:pokeball: If you enter Luxton town, by going left at the end of route 1, Prof. Ben will run in some trees, but you go to the Lab all fine *Fixed*
:pokeball: There is a Tileset error on Route 1, it has the tiles with normal ground, instead of water, and the Border is grass too
:pokeball: Apperently, you can't give the Prof his Parcel, now it works fine for me, but this is a glitch*Fixed*
:pokeball: The person to the north-west of the *Sleeping Man* says nothing, and it comes up with *1 Error* so i'll fix this ASAP

It sounds good to me, I thought about hacking that gen but mapping is so difficult for me on those games because of the 4 part tiles.

Plus I don't know how to script the first generation, is there even a pokescript out for it?

Thanks, my friend said that you can script for it, but i don't know, mapping with Pokemap somtimes is annoying, as it doesn't give full support for some maps, and the 4 part tiles are ok, all you have to do is work around them, but thanks for the support

Whoever voted 1 on this (probably the same people who voted 1 on Prism) should be ashamed of themselves. And I know why they're voting 1: because it isn't an advanced hack.

OMG YEAH HACKS WITH THE REGION JOHTO AND MINOR CRAPPY ALTERATIONS TO HOENN OR KANTO ARE AUTOMATICALLY SO MUCH BETTER THAN GAMEBOY HAX BECUZE ITS AN ADVANCE HACK AND THE GRAPHIZ R BETTAH.

I voted 5 just to balance it out, but this looks like it has potential. You people have NO idea how hard it is to hack a pokemon red/blue hack. There isn't any pre made programs for you to use, you have to do almost everything with HEX and learn how to edit the things yourselves. The effort shows too, because you can edit and add your OWN Things instead of what just programs or tutorials provide you, and even edit or add things nobody has even thought up of before. You CANNOT do that with a program.

Honestly, some of you people make me flat out sick.

As for the author of this hack, try putting your cities in a new order instead of the Kanto way, and rename the cities and make it your own region. Also delete EVERY LAST TILE off of the map before adding your own. If you need help with hacking, just let me know, after all I made Pokemon Brown :p

... Honestly people, are the graphics on the old games that GOD AWFUL that you can't stand to look at them? I bet they make your eyeballs bleed at seeing how horrible these graphics are.

Let me tell you something, the graphics for the gameboy games were VERY impressive, they pushed them to the limit as far as gameboy goes. Without the old games, there would BE no advance games for you to "hack".

and also as CBM said, make it look new. the more 'new game feel' it has, the better. keep up the good work. I'll be watching this hack. hope it all goes well

Ok, so delete every tile before starting on that map? And i am going to re-name the cities, and put them in a different order, i'm also going to make new gym types, ect, ok well i'll let you know if i need some help

i know, the old games are very good for me, i've never really liked hacking the advanced ones, but thanks for the support CBM
