i just went for a bike ride and got locked out the house, but i skillfully jumped the gate (with my bike) and played mario kart in the back room until my brother came home :)
 
OMG My war team kicks some serious buttox. Thanks to cartercr my fellow Patronium for helping me make it.

and i'm looking into the Salamence affair,
also as a thanks for everyone making my league very active,
i will have a little gift for you, but it's only redeemable if you have a 4th gen pkmn game ;)

and to those who are registering to be in the league, i will get your cards after the War :)
 
anyone on my planet want to help me test out my teams(one for the milky way battle thing and the gym leader one)
 
Irul12 your on Patronum right? If so I'll help once the server stops disconnecting me.....
It'll be good practice for my war team as well.

I'm sooo ready for this war to start:) My team is going to do good things for me.
 
I made a completely new team for the War, so tus I'll have two teams - One for Gym battles and one for Wars.
 
I hate to revive a dead topic, but on the salamence affair, I do see how people say it's broke, but I also see some downpoints.

Pro's:
Amazing Sweeper
Great Coverage
Amazing Power with Great Speed
Can run Mixed Sets

Con's:
Needs one turn to set up
SR weak
Ice type is a very common type (4x weak)
Sets without F-Blast are completely walled by Skarmory

Also, if it helps, I am not apposed to taking my Salamence off my team in order to remedy the issue (just as long as I get a free switch :D)
 
Actually, I was about to ask about the banlist. Many of the Pokemon are completely beatable. Garchomp I can understand, but unless it's in a Sandstorm you can beat it fairly easily with a powerful Ice or Dragon move. Same goes for Salamence. Sazandora shouldn't even have been on there in the first place. It's slow compared to the others and weak to probably the most used Pokemon in the game, Roopushin. Kyuremu is pretty beatable by it, too.

That aside, I can't wait for the War. I'm having a great time testing my team, it's actually pretty good for something made in 5 minutes. I also can't wait to start getting into Gym battles and all that.
 
Personally the Banlist should be: Mew, Mewtwo, Lugia, Ho-Oh, Groudon, Kyogre, Any Lati with Soul Dew, Rayquaza, Palkia, Dialga, Giratina, Arceus, Reshiram, Zekrom, Any unrealeased events, and Any unreleased dream world abilities.

Does anyone appose this idea?
 
I don't know, I think the gen 4 banlist was pretty descent. I believe Garchomp should be added to that list seeing as Sandstorm is now the number one weather based team. Salamence on the other hand is iffy, just as it always has been. Lati@s should be banned. Latios with a Life Orb is still a major threat and Latias can be a great special tank.
