ok, i just wanted to know if you guys like other animes than pokemon. i posted this thread because i read a conversation about how naruto rules & pokemon sucks, its babyish....(THATS WHAT THEY SAID) I FELT VERY OFFENDED TO WHAT THEY TYPED.

i would definitely choose pokemon bec i love pokemon!!!

I used to like Naruto but somehow I lost interest. I've always loved Pokemon, even going back to the beginning when Ash first met Pikachu.
    So I'll say Pokemon.

For the anime I definitely prefer Naruto. I'm not really into Pokemon as much as I used to be. The games are still great though.

I don't really like Naruto because I am so behind in the episodes, I mean I am still on episode 3. I don't really understand the storyline. xD

I like Pokemon more because it has something new (And I am not behind! xD) everytime. It also has this atmosphere everytime you watch it to. Naruto? Not really.

I like Naruto more. I watch it and play the games a bit more than I do Pokemon, and I think it's more interesting. But I still like Pokemon.

When I was younger, Pokemon was my favourite show. But when I found out about other animes, Pokemon sort of got pushed back in my list. So definitely Naruto.

LOL WTH, Pokemon has somthing new everytime, yeah right, the episodes are allways one of two things

    • Ash and friends meet random person and there Pokemon one of the Pokemon turns out to be useless.
    • Ash and friends try to help the useless Pokemon.
    • Random persons Pokemon and Pikachu get caught by TeamRocket
    • Useless Pokemon turns out to be not so useless and with help from Pikachu, makes Team Rocket "Blast Off".
    • Everyone says goodbye and gets on with there lives.

    Or

    • Ash and friends find a lost Pokemon
    • Ash and friends try to help it.
    • Lost Pokemon and Pikachu get caught by Team Rocket.
    • Lost Pokemon's Friends/Family turn up to help them
    • Team Rocket "Blast Off"
    • Lost Pokemon leaves with Friends/Family

Yeah i can see how the show is allways original, the only episodes that are even close to been original are the Gym battles and Contests, which are few and far between and sometimes when one of them catches a new Pokemon they make it kinda original.

The most original episodes i have seen in a long time was the one where Ash,Brock & Dawn left there Pokemon on a boat and it started going downstream.

Naruto is alot more original and i like the fast paced episodes, im not surprised your not into it if you have only seen the first 3 episodes, (i know a great site that has all the episodes that you can watch online, and it not YouTube or anything like that so theres no worry about them been taken down)

All that said i still have to go with Pokemon, Just because of Pikachu and Team Rocket. (and the fact that it was my first Anime)

I only like the Kanto and Orange Islands sagas of Pokemon. There are some episodes from Johto, AG, and Chronicles that I like, but for the most part, I dislike those sagas (as well as DP). However, I have never liked Naruto. It is an over-rated series with an uninteresting plot and (with the exceptions of Shikamaru, Chouji, and Kakashi) an irritating cast of characters. Therefore, Pokemon gets my vote.

I don't watch the anime anymore except for D/P, and ° I kind of don't keep track with Naruto anymore, ° I fall asleep too early. =.=

So, therefore, I would have to choose Pokemon. I wouldn't be on this website, anyway, if it weren't for my liking of Pokemon. XP

I pick Pokemon! Since well the anime club members at my school got me annoyed at the mention of it..>< 24/7 Naruto this, bleach that, blah blah blah. Hearing that every friday for the whole school year is just annoying..(well for me) I'm also pretty behind (Episode 81 for Naruto and episode 5 of Shippuden). xD

Also, Diamond and Pearl is like the best season in a looong time. X3

I think Hazuki meant Diamond and Pearl.

Since the whole anime series broke the whole repetitive-ness cycle. As mentioned in this article.

Fans who complain about the predictability of the series may no longer have the justification to do so. Pokémon have been traded, released and given vibrant, unique personalities. The main characters don't always win, and it often takes several tries to finally do so.

Oh and that episode you mentioned. Well it seemed a lot like a Pikachu short so, it's not totally an original idea.

    Old characters return also.

Like Gary, Butch, Cassidy, Haruka, Max (cameo), Harley (cameo), Solidad (cameo), Drew (cameo) Norman (cameo), May's mom (cameo), Viridian City Officer Jenny, and I think there's more, but I forget.

    Hippopotas appears two times. :3

Also old concepts are re-introduced like the Thunderstone and Pikachu (Pikachu was near death) and AURA (from the 8th movie). There have been flashbacks too.

Plus Hikari competes in a gym battle and recently, a Croagunk festival. The Fillers are more interesting like the Croagunk festival, Pokemon Hunter J episodes, Mumage (Forget English name) nightmare, and lots more..

And that's it for now. xD

Before i considered naruto, but now with the terrible sequel to it, i'd choose pokemon.
i'm pretty sure more people care about imaginary creatures than kids trying to save a friend with ninja stars and a guy who can shoot wood out of his hands.

Pokemon - only because I have not watched any Naruto *keeps putting it off*

    Truthfully, I don't really like both animes. ^^;

However, if I had to make a choice, I'd like... um.. Pokemon more, I believe. I've watched more Pokemon than Naruto anyway. I was put off by the first episode, while Pokemon held my attention for about two generations, so I guess one of them tends to interest me more..

Hmm... A hard choice... Pokemon is great but Naruto is just, awesome. Naruto. Why? Well, because I know more about Naruto than Pokemon. And I am not a Narutard! I don't love it THAT much...

I chose naruto because i think its more interesting than pokemon (the anime's) and sometimes i dont watch pokemon (o krap i just realized i missed it today XD) Anyways i am a little behind on pokemon and i liked the old pokemon better (Johto, etc)
