FireRed hack: POKEMON ORANGE KANTO

Generic story is generic.
If you need more story to add on, just make up anything. Sometimes randomness is interesting, don't be afraid to do something silly.
I think I still have the crystal onix from my Crystal Onyx, hit me up once you get that far.

well i like the support lately, and thanks curt.
the problem is no one wants to help map or script
that much. i need a group for the kanto while i work
on the Orange islands.

I know this is going to be harsh, but hear me out.

Why don't you learn Mapping and Scripting yourself?

Stop saying "help me do this, do that".

You'll never finish this project if you don't change.

And try improving your OW Spriting.
The blimp is very bad, because it doesn't have shading and stuff.
And improve your Grammar.
It's awful.

1. i need help because i am working on the orange islands more than the kanto.
2. i said before I AM NOT A SPRITER! so my blimp will suck.
3. i made theese maps in about 2 minutes each to get this prodject started.

so stop posting stuff like this. there aren't many posts so you should of seen this
in my posts before.

I WILL NOT RIP MAPS OFF OTHER GAMES LIKE A LOSER!

stop being lazy. i'd understand if this had 3-5 pages, but just starting 2?
you need to get a life!

Get a life? Who are you to say that? I understand if it's CS saying that to me, but you? Hahahahahaa.
It seems that you CANNOT take critisim at all. You won't get far without critisim.

I'll reply according to numbers.

1. Then why don't you wok on BOTH of them? Huh?

2. Then learn how to sprite, instead of saying "oh im not a spriter my sprites will suck". That's not going to make you go far in ANY Hack you make.

3. 2 Minutes per map? Wow. That's funny. Even fixing tile errors takes at least 5 minutes. So that's why your Maps are so empty.

You better learn how to take critisim, or you'll NEVER get far.
 
i know how to take critisism.
the problem is you critisize anything you can, and i am practicing o/w
those maps don't exist any more because the files went corupt, so i'm working on the orange islands
the reason i ask for help in the kanto, is because i map certain parts
and my main jobs are
1. mapping
2. basic scripting
3. trainer editing
4. pokemon editing (data for tropical pokemon)

i also do basics in about everything else so
stop critisizing if you critisize what they admit to not being good at.
 
does anyone still like this hack?
i know there has been a lack of updates, but this is still being worked on.
 
I am getting a little bit better at mapping. I might could help out with that. And I understand how you feel I always get rude replays on my hacks no matter how hard I try. And when I ask people not to be rude I also get the replay of, not taking critisim. I think critisim is find as long as your not rude about it, trying to bad critisim about every little mistake on the map, or just plain trying to make the person fell bad, and decide to quit on there hack.

Sounds good. One thing though, what is the blob in the second picture supposed to be?
 
its supose to be a blimp, but i suck at ows so it sucks.
also i had to restart due to corupt files, so those maps don't exist anymore.

You can't make a hack popular. Keep going with it, and at some stage it will snowball into more interest. Look at our first hack, SEPTO CONQUEST. No-one really cared until we had nearly finished.
Also, just a suggestion, but wouldn't it be better to delete the older pictures of the maps that don't exist, replacing them with the newer ones?

Anyway, I'll keep an eye on this thread, and good luck. :)
 
it wud be best if you can make pikachu follow you like in the anime series.. i saw one in youtube he can make pikachu follow the player..

the only way to do that is make the OW have a pikachu behind you ( it would look terrible since when you turn the pikachu goes without walking down.
also on youtube it couldve been a event or HGSS.

EDIT: or you could have a script for every tile in the whole game!!! that would take months.
