Pokemon Psychic Version

STORY

You're a boy who just turned 16 and you just moved to the ??? and your whole life you have been interested in pokemon, when you were a kid you would go to the the professor lab and play with the pokemon he had and the professor promised the day you turn 16 you may have your very own pokemon to travel with. So you say good bye to your mum and head to the lab where you get your first starter, the Professor name is Nate and he is studding mega evolutions and how they work. Prof.Nate gives you your pokemon and a pokedex and sets 3 goals for you to complete, get all 8 badges and beat elite 4, find out as much as you can about mega evolutions, and to fill the pokedex. So you set off to go on your adventure to get all the badges and along the way you meet the evil team Jets, they are trying to obtain the legendary pokemon Hoopa for their boss, you keep collecting badges and you run into people who give you mega stones and tell you more about it such as Mr.Fuji, Prof.Sycamore, and Korrina. You keep collecting badges and when you get your 8th badge you get confronted and kidnapped by team Jets, you get taken to there base where you see their leader, he tells you how he has obtained Hoopa and he is planning to take over the world and terminating anyone who miss treats their pokemon using hoopas psychic powers, he challenges you to a battle and after the battle he walks out and you get told to go back to the lab in your home town, when you go inside Prof.Nate tells you how he knows about team Jets stealing Hoopa and he tells you that you need to catch the legendary pokemon Xerneas and Yvetal in the cave of origin to stop team Jets . after you catch them you go fight team Jets and stop their evil plans to take over the word and you get a chance to catch hoopa, now that you have 8 badges and beat the evil team and caught the legendary pokemon you go to fight the elite 4 and go on to become the champion.

Those screenshots show Mega-evolutions -- how do you plan to include them? Are they just going to be regular evolutions, activated through stones? If so, do you plan to balance them with their permanence and being able to have multiple in mind? What about the mega-evolutions of families with three stages?

Here are some suggestions on some starters. Maybe try pikachu, squirtle, and geodude. Edit the moveset so water gun and thundershock can be learned at lower levels.

It will just work as normal evolution but all the mega stones will be obtainable.

The story is getting re worked on, same story but ill write it better :)

I think you should do the Gen III Torchic, Mudkip, and Treecko starters.

Story of the hack is good, and with so much legendary Pokemon, this hack will be interesting, so I'll be looking for forward to this!

That's quite a lot of legendaries you have there, I'd suggest trimming down a few just so the Pokedex doesn't get clogged with half legendaries-half everything else. Usually streamlining it to the main legendaries, a trio, and a few extra is enough for a hack since you're most likely not going to play to complete the pokedex anyways.

As for starters, since it's called pokemon psychic version why not have a psychic pokemon as the starter? Ralts, Abra, Solosis, and Elgyem come to mind. Maybe give the rival a dark pokemon to give it a bit more of an edge.
