I don't have any other comments, to add, but I do however agree with Chimou. When making a game you want people to be interested right? Therefore you might need to make sure everything is correct.

Oh, and the water Pok?mon's sprite could be shaded a little bit.

I think the game looks promissing, But it definately needs some work. And i also think you should get better pictures of the pokeballs where you choose your starter. It looks like you took a small pic of them and just stretched it out. GAMEFREAKS wouldn't be caught dead doin' that. Look in yahoo pics.
