3rd Gen Pokemon R/S/E & FR/LG Mono-Type Challenge

    As I can't see many active posts featuring Pokemon R/S/E & FR/LG Mono-type challenges, I thought I may set one up and try and get it going, the rules are as normal:

    Rules
    1) ONLY use Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald/Fire Red/Leaf Green (GBA)
    2) Your challenge ends once you have defeted all 8 gyms, Elite four & Steven
    3) You are only allowed to choose ONE type i.e water.
    4) NO Cheating or hacking allowed.
    5) You MUST have one of you're chosen pokemon (i.e water) before the 2nd gym.
    6) Legendary's are NOT allowed.
    7)Trading is NOT allowed unless pokemon need to be traded to evolve
    8) If your type (i.e fire) is unable to use a certain type of move (i.e water) you may use another pokemon (HM slave) to help you through the game, however you CANNOT use it to battle and it must be below level 25
    9) It would be great if you could update your progress frequently to make it more fun and intresting for everyone! :P
    10) You are allowed to use your starter but only up till you obtain your first chosen pokemon
    11) Take your time
    12) If someone has chosen a certain type (i.e flying) you ARE allowed to choose the same type.
    13) Emulators ARE allowed.
    14) Most importantly, Have fun! :D

    Electric
    Poison
    Dragon
    Steel
    Fire
    Water
    Grass
    Ice
    Bug
    Flying
    Dark
    Phychic
    Ghost
    Rock
    Ground
    Fighting
    Normal

    There are already specific monotype challenges for both FR/LG and RSE. Both get a decent amount of posts, and as such, this thread isn't really needed.

    Yeah I know, but not many that I can see have been active recently, for example, King!'s R/S/E last updated almost 2 months ago, and that's only R/S/E not FR/LG.

    I'm pretty sure that King! has someone that is going to make a new thread for it soon. If not:

    I'm going to do all the types, starting with Normal, but it will have to wait until I play through Heart Gold. But just a heads up, it will take a while til I can start.
     
    My last thread wasn't updated for so long because vacation and school got in the way. So, I made a new one that I can catch up with. The old one wasn't active because Weatherman, Kiyoshit and I were busy making the new one. :\
     
    Well, Suicune wants this nuked as well, among other reasons...
