Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire, & Emerald Remake Speculation Thread

Ruby & Sapphire remakes will be awesome!

Hoenn was my first region so I'd love to see it with Unova-style graphics.

And I bet moving sprites from Black & White will be back.

I got attached to a lot of Hoenn Pokemon, and I loved using them.
 
Even though my first game was Pokémon Blue in Kanto, nothing can top Hoenn (R/S/E) for me.. I thought that Black & White would win me over and as much as I enjoy it, again it's just not upto the standards that Hoenn delivered. I would love a remake also and it really does deserve a remake, not many people appreciated it and it should have much more.

My first game was blue too and still R/S/E is the best, with B/W.

I think it would be cool if they add animation to the trainers when they
throw the Pokeball, Pokemons should have animations when they attack.

In 3-4 days we might have some news from Corocoro, but I'm not going to get my hopes up so I won't be disappointment if they don't.

I do see RS getting remakes just sometime in 2012 or 2013 at the latest, before Generation VI that's for sure and if not then I'd just rule it out.
 
Im hoping the new game in the RS remakes, it still feels too soon for Grey to come out if that is the game they are planning for the spring release. But I agree, Ive played pretty much every Pokemon game but R/S/E are my favorites.
 
In HG/SS on the radio, remixed route 101 music is played. I find that as another hint

There's Sinnoh music in HGSS as well though, so I wouldn't take that to heart too much.
 
Ruby/Sapphire music also happens to appear in Black and White as well, so perhaps this supports this hint more?
 
Okay, that makes more sense then. I thought that too, when I went into that mall place by Opelucid. "Hoenn shop music? WUT DOS ET MEEN???"
 
Well in DPPT the 6th Gym leader specialised in Steel types as did Jasmine, the 6th gym leader in GSC. In BW Skyla is the 6th Gym leader who specialises in Flying types as does Winona, the 6th gym leader in RSE... that could be something, don't you think?
 
For all you guys that are looking into all this music and stuff, don't you guys think you might be looking a little too deep into this? Music that sounds similar? Come on guys.
All this speculation is not making any of the games come any faster, why don't we just calm down, pick up our DS's play some more B/W, and wait until Game Freak comes out with an official game announcement.
Honestly, every time you guys bump this thread it makes me nervous that maybe one of you guys have found some actual EVIDENCE of a new game, so then I have to check it out in hopes that somebody found out some real information, instead all I read is hopes, dreams, and weird assumptions.

I'm not trying to be negative or anything, It's just... can we at least wait till we have a bit more information about the game before bumping this thread like crazy?
 
People are enjoying themselves speculating, I don't see what the problem is. If it's confirmed then I'm sure the title would be changed to reflect that. Let them enjoy themselves with their speculation o_O;

Where exactly is the harm in speculation? Imo, all this talk is actually just keeping myself and others focused on how great we hope the games to be.

Btw, unless there is some actual reveal from a reliable source, of course there isn't going to be "evidence". There are some things that they put in the games, most out of the way or a little unrecognizable if you aren't paying attention, that do seem a bit 'odd' and could reference what the future holds: How someone at Dev. Corp in gen 3 talks about pokemon dreams(gen 5), Lilycove remix in Platinum villa, etc. Speaking for myself, I think that they're put in by the developers for a little extra fun in thinking about "what'll be next".

Not to sound mean, but if you don't like speculations, then maybe this isn't the thread for you. I'm sure if 'evidence' were available, it would be easily found on Serebii, etc., or, like Tou said, the name of the thread would probably be changed.
 
I personally think it is inevitable and i think it will happen by early 2013 or late 2012 to tie Pokemon fans over until late 2014 or early 2015 when generation 6 comes out,
 
With every Generation III-V has came a remake, I'd assume RS remake would come with Generation V in 2012/2013, just before Generation VI in 2014.
 
Starting from tomorrow we might have some news on the new game, though I don't
the feeling that they will reveal it this month...
