Just to start out, this is my first hack...

Important Announcement: WHISBII and I are making hacks relating to each other. No that does not he is doing Ruby.

Four years after Team Aqua was supposedly disbanded, they were seen back at their hideout in Lilycove. The Hoenn police hired Maxie, the former Team Magma leader to take them down. He was allowed to bring Team Magma back until Team Aqua was permanently disbanded.

You are just starting on your adventure in the Hoenn region. Your father has been in Hoenn for four years and you are Brendan/May's younger brother/sister. Prof. Birch is once again in trouble on Route 101. Once you save him, you'll start your adventure through the newly expanded cities and towns of Hoenn, while collecting badges.

Since this is your first hack, you made a good decision of chosing a simple plot and storyline. It's a simple plot and you should be able to script well enough.
