How many maps have you done now?
I think the first gym leader shouldn't be rock.
It's overused by official pokemon games
You know,Sinnoh,Hoenn,and Kanto have a first rock gym
And Cyndaquil doesn't have a chance with Rock types in the beggining
I think it would be better to switch to a differnt type.

You stay with Rock if you want,it doesn't make a game worser

I'm still learning more about hacking....
I'll change the types for the 1st Gym.
I'm waiting for someone to make a rom base.
So the graphics will be nicer.
 
Maybe an ice gym
Ice because the only type that is not very effective is ice.
Giving no ice or water moves to the gym leader.
And also every other type is good,so I think ice would be the only not used type.
(Bug and Grass are overused)

i like your ideas mate. just 1 thing, maybe instead of having an Aerodactyl in the first gym, replace with a sudowoodo or something like that, just seems more suitable (to me anyway) rather then a pokemon like Aerodactyl thats quite rare......if u catch my drift, didnt really explain myself well...
