That reminds me of a question about FR, have you ever battled a trainer inside a house with a door locked by boxes in one of the Islands? (well, later removed, so you can battle).

Thanks, but it seems you followed Wolt's exact layout... :P, and I'd like to feel it different. Anyway, I have a few images for the changing as well. I'll change it, then it can be changed if it doesnt look good. (Wow, I really used the word "change" a lot.........)

Two things for which I should get familiar with a new program, a map editor (I think Cyclone works), and a Poke Editor (I know there are some, anyway, hex always works). So, for now, there are no changes.

Hey Zel, I have a couple of ideas for Kanto, you know how when you beat Johto, and you go to Kanto shortly after the league? (Im playing my old gold version on my gba xD) Well, I was thinking, since when you go to Kanto you beat it pretty much in an hour or so, (if you know what to do), you should put more events in kanto, I mean, I may be getting ahead of myself here, but you are about half way through finishing Johto, and you are doing Mt.Mortar, so, yea,

Anyway, making more events in Kanto would be a great idea, since all your really doing to Kanto is changing minor details, you should do more, (when your hack is finished, then you can think about this,) and yea, I have ideas if you want them, Ill pm them to you.

It may be a little too early to make that suggestion, but you have a point. After finishing Johto, Kanto is a joke. Personally I really never even considered Kanto part of GSC. The storyline pretty much drops once you get to Kanto and you finish it within an hour or two anyway...

How about keeping the original FireRed storyline generally intact? Then change certain aspects to correlate with ShinyGold without overlapping? It would be a little redundant because all of the HMs would have already been obtained...

I don't really want to push this idea though just because zel's focus needs to be directed at finishing the Johto betas anyway. Maybe a couple betas down the line Kanto ideas should be brought up.

I really meant to use a different font style to differ from Wolt's template.

Read... my... lips... There are going to be changes in Kanto (even new rivals/friends will be waiting for you!). I also hated when Kanto was so quickly done. Probably I'll swap the levels for the poke as well (I mean, I have an overall team of 40, and I battle a level 5 Pikachu?, no way!)

[EDIT]: Hmmm... I guess it wont be possible, as far as I remember, you start Kanto from Vermillion, and Nintendo's idea was to go exactly (well, not exactly exactly) the opposite as in Red, so I guess many events wouldn't make sense...

However, I thought about updating the new events they put in FR to three years later (that's when Gold starts). But, I don't remember FR's new events anyway...

ARGH! Anyway, I'm thinking too far away again!
