FireRed hack: Pokemon Shiny Gold

I have got it, you know how they do legendarys,well you are going to have to do the same for the gyarados,but you are going to need to do modifications like look into the gyarados data and change it so it will be a shiny, if I recall, its an encounter flag in the pokemon data.
 
Yes, I've been playing around with the legendaries script, but all I get is a game's hang up. lol (at least now I can make a legendary battle with any legendary...)

Well, for now, I'll put it as a normal Gyarados (if you want it to be shiny, use a code for that battle, till I or someone could find an answer) There's no more time to waste about it!

[EDIT]: Oh, yeah! There was something else... What do you think if I release two version of Shiny Gold? No, don't get me wrong. It's gonna be the same game Shiny Gold for FR, but the differences will be that in one version the trainers/leaders will be harder, while in the other will be exactly as in the original. That idea just came to my mind right now. That way, I'm gonna be satisfying everyone! (As you can see, I'm always thinking about the public, hehe...)

Good idea, but I'd focus first on the version you're allready working on and after that do the harder version.
 
Zel, don't really like the idea... continue with ShinyGold, maybe in about 1 year time when the full hack releases, make ShinyGold 2.0 or whatever you want to call it, but leaders/trainers harder, why don't you make a Hoenn Remake (LOL!).Why a Hoenn Remake you say? Because Diamond & Pearl would be released on rom or whatever and you can hack that (just joking, or was i?).
 
A second one maybe it could be different in more ways E.G more hoenn pokemon D/P sprites for all pokemon in emerald so there are animations prehaps whatever sounds good
 
I've tried to download the beta of this, I have the Lunar Patcher, patched the file over an old Sapphire ROM...opened VBA and Sapphire and got a white screen!

Problem???

I dont think it wud be 2 hard, just replace the title screen, and change some pokemon u can catch...
also, u cud make faded silver a patch for LG, while shiny gold is for a FR rom?

NekroBoi: I don't know how much time will take to finish SG. We'll see when I finish it (but for a LG version, I'm afraid it's not possible, I guess the offsets, raw commands and specials are different. But I don't know since I've never even played Leaf Green)

Well, the idea was only to offer just a second option for those (like me) who wanted a challenge, instead of (like me, also) a normal remake. There wont be any other differences between the games, just that one. Meaning, only in one or two days, I can make a harder version of SG. It's not that much work...

All right, time to start the whole Team Rocket in Mahogany event. It's gonna be fun! (Maybe?)

Oh, and you know that flipboi enjoys doing banners, so I'll post them here (I have enough banners in my front page, so here they'll stay...). They look cool, so I'm gonna use... ehem... mine...

u cud just direct the patch making utility to the original rom as leaf green... and well, there u go, it is a leaf green hack (coz u said so..)
 
Wow, those banners are nice! :) And a harder version of Shiny Gold too?! I like your dedication Zel, and the fact that this hack is still going strong! :D You should add some new things or events exclusive only to the harder Shiny Gold, then it would make it worthwhile, other than the added challenge that is! :P Keep it up amigo! ;)

No red gyarados? Well, you could make that gyarados uniquely stronger than other gyarados', but yeah, as you said it isn't your main priority, but you could fix it up once you've finished the hack! :D And a Faded Silver as a partner of Shiny Gold...well, it's already long enough makin Shiny Gold, but it wouldn't be too hard; knowing Zel, it's possible, but knowing Zel, maybe there's no need to make a Faded Silver. Unless you could make Faded Silver Nekro Boi! :P Or not...

Zel,you can add some music from Pokemon Mystery Dungeon to your Shiny Gold(I think that is a good idea)

A hard version of SG sounds interesting. Something I could get into after finishing the normal SG.

On a side note, nice banners flipboi.

i jsut did it cuz on my other banner, i just put totidile with crystal and chikorita with silver, ill change it right now!

EDIT: well....right now, i kinda like how totidile looks like with crystal, since their both blue, but if ppl want me to change it, or maybe jsut make a diff version, i'll do it! no prob!

EDIT 2: Also, i think i messed up on Amelia, imma fix that soon too!
 
Since I don't like when time passes and I don't post anything relevant to the game. Well... Just to let you guys know how I'm doing with the hack, I'll give you this screenshot... I'm gonna start mapping the interior of the Hideout, I'm deciding how it should look.
