sorry for my question but can anyone tell me where i can use teleport in mahogany town?, i think i have talked to everyone in the town but none of them can teleport..
 
You teleport using the move called Teleport, you don't talk to someone and they teleport you...

I don't know what Zel feels about us exploiting glitches/bugs in his game though
 
I think he should put the events before red because no matter what you will do the events before or after but if it is before it will help you prepare for the battle with him.
 
Couldn't Zel just do a ROM expansion if he wanted to add more content?

You guys need some patience, seriously. Zel's got a lot of important stuff to do besides this you know.
 
Rom expansions corrupt contents of an ips patch...If he expanded the rom he would have to upload the entire rom already patched up.

I need answers to a couple of questions (as the faqs here and the other members certainly havent helped me at all >_<) about this game.

1.is it possible to put this rom onto a flash cart so you can play it on a Nintendo DS or a GBA? and more importantly, will it save if its on a flash cart? (also, what would you need to put it onto a flash cart? as Ive never done it before..)

2. is there any possible way to make the game save in game? so it dosent crash and lose all progress after the 'auto save' parts of the game? such as after the elite 4.

1. Yes just as any other r.o.m. And to my knowlege all you need is a flash cart and the usb cable for it. And it should save on the flash cart.

2. I can save fine on shiny gold so I'm not sure why some people can't. But I have herd that some people have had to download the fire red save patch.
 
the second question has been answered many times but the first one yes it can be loaded onto a flash cart and about the saving, I dont know.
 
ah, thanks for telling me you guys :) Now, what do I actually DO to put it onto a flash cart? and where can I buy all the equipment etc etc?

and where is this save patch? as when i save on shiny gold and when i start the game, it says that a circuit isnt made (or something) and when i save it says saving, dont turn off the power, then, it says error
 
I dont know whats wrong with it because I never patched anything for a save and it save fine, but as for finding a buyable flashcart, google is your friend.

Zel, Are you going to redue all the maps for kanto or just some of them?
 
Ben232, I had the same exact problem, I was so mad after I beat the e4 on firered rom and I had to start over... :(

This is how to fix it. LISTEN EVERYONE IF YOU WANT TO KNOW HOW TO FIX THE SAVE PROBLEM!!!

First, go to Options>Emulator>Save Type>Flash 128K. Now close visualboyadvance and reopen. It should work. Unfortunately, this means you must get rid of your save file.

The end.
 
We are all waiting in anticipation but you just have to have patience and zel updating would take more time that he could be hacking anyway.

Yeah, it should be released in GBA but too bad it won't.

Note to Zel:

To make RSE trading possible, you should make a sidequest of collecting a Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald Gem.
