It's easy. You just get the link to the image (bulbapedia has all of them) and you paste it here with the following code: .
I've been managing with that, but it does get slightly tedious if you're doing a bunch of them in a row... >_> Actual battle sprites I can understand going to search for, due to potential file issues and stuff as opposed to menu sprites.
It really wouldn't be a bad idea though. I remember when I first joined PC, I was impressed with PC's collection of Pokemon emoticons. :t169: :t094: :t028:
Although I eventually grew out of them, it is a nice feature for people that want to put pokemon images in their posts without pulling up a Bulbapedia tab. As it stands now, we've only got up to genIII on our smiley list. XD
LOL...I
still use them... Well, actually, I sort of grew out of all of the
Trozei! sprites except for the occasional usage. However, I employ all of our cerulean smileys almost
daily. XD But yeah...they're outdated in the sense that Generation 4 and Generation 5 sprites are absent. I was actually thinking that the HGSS Overworld sprites (the front-facing ones, like Bulbapedia's) would work better. For a Charmander example:
Hmm...on second thought, that does seem sort of small. Maybe menu sprites would work better. HGSS Overworld sprites look OK on certain Pokemon, though, like Rayquaza:
Mystery Dungeon portraits could also work, but those seem to be lacking a bit...

Split up the workload? >__>
Pokemon emoticons may be convenient. I can tell already the guys in the shipping thread will abuse them during times of Pokemon ships discussions.
I agree; Pokemon emoticons (apparently, based off of menu sprites) could be convenient, and splitting up the workload could help ease the strain of moderators...I hope. :<
