Pokemon Snap (Wii)

    Well a new spinoff Pokemon game has been announced (30th November were the date various articles about it were released). I couldn't see another thread for it but if there is, my bad.

    I never played the N64 title, but the Wii one is going to have some interesting features such as being able to upload your snaps onto the Wii message board and send them to friends using wifi.

    Its coming to Japan on 4th December and in America on 10th December via the Virtual Console.

    Do you think it should warrant being a game that should be on sale in the shops, or does the fact its only a spinoff sort of game mean its good it can be downloaded?
     
    Id say it's prolly a good idea it can be downloaded, not sure how well it would do in stores. These days, Pokémon just isn't the superpower it once was. I think it will get much more play if it is availible for download rather than sale, and that will mean more people will play it and enjoy it. I do like the idea of new features, too. I liked Snap! when it came out on the 64 (Only went to the Pokémon Snap Station once to print stickers out, lol. That was the problem with having to have a reason to be at the nearest one which was a 45 minute to an hour drive away from the house, lol) I wonder if anywhere would even still have a functioning Pokémon Snap Station. Haha, I wonder if they would even remember what one was. lol

    One of the most fun games i think.

    I think they should make a total remake with new items. i think it should be sold in the shops with a special atachment

    no, pokemon snap will be available on the wii virtuale console on that date...

    its still teh same game out that was on the N64
     
    You people still know you have to pay to download it, right? By those means, they don't actually have to release it physically in stores. o_O

    I don't think the game would do well if it was in actual stores and, to tell the truth, I'm glad it's in Wii Shop instead. That means I don't have to get up early tomorrow morning and drive to get it. :)

    I love Pokemon Snap. I had it on N64 and I was devistated when it stopped working (long after they stopped making it). I couldn't find it anywhere else but now I'm so excited! It was one of my favorite Pokemon games EVER!
     
    On my first movie video, they showed previews of all the games out at that time.

    Snap taunted me so much as it looked great.

    Its good I may have a chance to get it finally.

    No UK date confirmed though. :(

    EDIT: Or maybe there is. 14th according to Wiki.
     
    & sometimes u can actually not trust wiki... back on topic... I CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS GAME TO COME OUT!!!!!!

    Yes it is the same game, but I believe it has the feature to post your pictures to the Wii message board and send them to other people.

    Correct ;)

    Apparently today it is coming to Europe as well as North America. I won't be getting my Wii until Xmas Day, but someone who has a Wii, and preferably from Europe able to confirm this?
