    Wasn't this game just the bee's knees? Talk about how great or not-so-great, if that happens to be your opinion this game was here.

    I loved Snap! Me and my friend had a joke about Snorlax if you played a certain song on the Pokeflute, he would like...shimmy and we were like "omg he's getting jiggy with it!" lol And I liked bopping Pikachu in the head with apples and pester balls. That was the absolute JOY of my childhood. ...Wow I sound mean... :(
     
    that game was fricken awesome i would stay up all night at my friends house playing it and we would compete for money to see who could get better pictures lol.
     
    I love Pokémon Snap! I love making Electrode explode by throwing things at them :3
    It did however make me go really bad in my photography class at school, apparently I should be using rule of thirds or something like that instead of getting the subject in the centre of the frame.
     
    I actually have never liked that rule in the game. I love off center pictures (I'm not a photographer though, but I still like taking pictures) and it drove me insane when I got a great off center shot and Oak didn't like it. I would keep them anyway. He doesn't know true art when he sees it. :( sob sob
     
    Yeah, I remember this game. It's too bad I never had an N64 of my own back then, the playthroughs I've seen looked really fun. It's like a 3D anime or something, they took a baby step in making a 3D Pokémon game with an actual world! I didn't like the character of Mister Snap from the anime but that's not the point.

    I actually want to try it out on my own now using shady means but but I'd pay them if I can. Come on, I just want to enjoy something that I feel like I've missed out greatly.

    But seriously, this game is awesome. I say "is", and not "was", because I still play it on my cousin's N64. I love making the Magikarp evolve. <3
    Knocking Charmeleon into the lava was always fun. Oak NEVER likes my centered picture of Charizard giving the best Flamethrower ever, but he's a professor, not an R-teest, like moi.

    but the game was a blast, the concept was very cute, and I will keep playing it until the cartridge explodes.
     
    Yay, responses! OK, so what was everyone's favourite level? Mine was actually the last one, with Mew. Mainly for the challenge, but also for the space-y nature of the game, and the final relief of victory when you got that shot juuuuuuuuuuuust right.
     
    I love the game. I have a copy of it that still work. The other weekend I fixed my old 64 and got it up and running. I spent half of the day re-living my childhood playing Pokemon snap. It was an AWESOME day.
     
    I've always liked the volcano cause there's cute Charmander family and big fat flaming Moltres lol. And Vulpix. :) Fire fire fire <3 The last level was pretty, but I hated that it was just Mew (the "signs" were in the sky as constellations too and I actually paid more attention to them lol) and you had to bust it out of that bubble. It was more annoying than fun on that level.
     
    My N64 is at my grandmas, which I actually might take back so I can play Snap, and Stadium! :D I miss these games, my favorite part of snap, was def Zapdos! Back then I was like oh my gosh! so cool!
     
    i liked the part where you hit charmander with a pester ball he goes unconcious for a second wakes up and then the whole herd of charmander comes then i knock the out and the get mad as heck XD
     
    I'm surprised I didn't get a copy for myself judging by the reputation it's received over the years, was it really that good?
     
    If you have a Wii, you can get it for Virtual Console. It is a really fun game. It's simple and anyone can pick it up and play it.

    HOW AM I JUST LEARNING THIS NOW? It's seriously on the Virtual Console? I have to download this now now now!
     
    It was out on VC when I was in high school haha. I remember a lot of my friends were downloading it and reliving some good childhood nostalgia. 8)
     
    Snap was SOOO fun!!! It was so cool! I just wish there were more levels. You could make a really good game like Snap today based on real wildlife, or Pokemon again, or anything really, and make a FORTUNE!
