Well punters, since my last attempt at Solar White went bust, I have learned much about hacking and I present to you...

.:: Introduction ::.
Third attempt at a game that has gotten better each time, and I can assure everybody this is the best one yet. I've decided to hack Fire Red (sick of Ruby) and it has been much easier and the game looks better and is better than if it was on Ruby.


.:: Story ::.
Same as Fire Red ;). I'm not big on stories

* New well... Most things will be new
* If I can find a good spriter - New Pokemon

It only goes up to Viridian and there are very few changes, so don't expect a crazy whacked out pre-alpha ok

i can tell you how to get people to give you pokemon. ok its a script. put
givepokemon [pkmn hex code] [pokemon level] [item hex code*]

*= put 0 for none or dont put anything at all.

if you need hex codes, PM me

If you want to sprite, post some of your stuff here :) The thing about the whole "give pokemon" thing is that I have absolutely no idea on hex editors or scripts, so all guides on this site make no sense to me :nervous:. I am hoping someone will post a noob guide :D

Can you make me a small squid pokemon for a starter pokemon? (with squirtles pallette would be preferred :)) Go to https://ptreasures.net/pokedex/?poke=squibble and try and make the pokemon similar to that but please don't copy it. Some of the pokemon on that site are freakin' amazing! Use them for inspiration eh? :)

Ok, you're on the team as a scripter. As for maps, show me a new city. Start from Pewter City and customize it :)

Your first assignment is to take a map of Pewter City and change it in any way you like, enough that I don't recognise it as Pewter while keeping places like the gym and the museum. Good luck :)

EDIT: On second thought, maybe not.... I'm not that good with scratch sprites, although I can do splices and revamps really well. So, maybe someone else should do those sprites....
