They probably were. D/P/P games must have been in progress when LG/FR manga was made, no?

Don't forget Blue showed a Snubbull in Yellow saga... And... in the anime, Tracey had a Marill in the filler season before Johto ^^"

Volume 26 was published in Japan in June 2007. Diamond and Pearl were released in Japan (in stores, let alone in development) in September 2006.

...Yeah, I think they would've known of Gen IV.

Another few things I can comment on. In the Emerald saga, I *think* it was in the Battle Factory, one of the trainer's Pokemon, a Golem, used Avalanche, which was recently introduced in D/P/Pl. Also in Emerald, the Sceptile had a Poison Barb shot at it, which was an item that also made its debut in D/P/Pl. So yeah :/

Oh, and someone will probably post before seeing this edit, but I bring more Ruby fanart =D

they most definitely should know about gen IV before it was actually released in the d/p arc of the manga
its basic foreshadowing, just saying that theres more to come in the future releases of the manga
just like how they showed riley on the boat to battle frontier
and at the end of frlg volume 26(?) i think
in reds pokedex it gives hints of the meteorites of veilstone city

i cant find the sillouettes of palkia and lucario though.

Well, the original site I got it from had text beneath the image that was Yellow's name in Katakana. So I'm pretty sure it's Yellow.

As for teh current discussion, in the ending of the FR/LG arc Green mentions something about Rhydon having a third evolution, or something like that, which I guess is referring to Rhyperior. But I think someone said that already. ^^;

Oh sorry about the all the commotion on my comment on 4th Gen in FR/LG. It was just that I noticed a lot of references to Sinnoh such as Deoxys having the "possibility" of using all its forms due to the Veilstone City Meteors. (I think the shadow of Palkia was around here too =/ But don't hold it to me.) ^_^ I'm too lazy to look back.

I got mine from the link Silverdragonlaura gave me ^^ Though I had someone turn the beau pic of Ruby into a set for me, and my profile pic, which also came from the same site (and you know all the fanart I posted? They're from the same site still) I recolored. But it's something like ruby.kirara.jp or something like that. This isn't accurate, so don't try and figure it out that way X_x

And Netto, you realize you have the exact same pic in your siggy that Saber had before changing it? XD
