That's...wildly hilarious, Masa. xD

I became obsessed with FMA over my disappearance, so drawing Mightyena!Chimera!Sapphire is something of a hobby of mine now. As is Weavile!Chimera!Silver, Houndoom!Chimera!Silver, Gabite!Chimera!Gold, and Typhlosion!Chimera!Gold. Drawing Pokechimeras (NOT Pokemorphs, yes there is a difference) gets you some creeped-out looks, but it's morbidly fun.

Pikachu!Chimera!Yellow would be adorable, though.
 
Speaking of obsessions..

I got obsessed with Touhou now XD And I got back into playing The World Ends With You, so I'm obsessed with that again :3 (hmm, Ruby or Yoshiya? Dang, at a fork again >.>)

Eyah, love the new name, Luna. I actually like your previous one a bit more, but this one's cute too~

My one friend CLAIMS she has the first volume of *a* Pokemon manga, and I THINK it's PokeSpecial, but I have yet to see it. And I think I read one volume maybe once when I was a bit younger (and I might've mentioned this before, but...), and I was like "That isn't Ash!" XD

Hmm... New topic mebbe? I think this might've existed, or it's at least similar, but...

What video games can you see each individual PokeSpecial character in?

And by that I mean one (or two) PokeSpecial characters to a video game. I was thinking of Touhou and The World Ends With You at the same time XD

But yeah. I'll answer it now, I guess.

Red: I can see him in Soul Caliber :3
Green: He needs to be in Soul Caliber too, else Red wouldn't have a good enough rival.
Blue: I can see her in Touhou XD
Yellow: Harvest Moon :3 Definitely.

Gold: Some gambling video game.
Silver: Probably Halo or Fable XD Though Blue would yell at him for it
Crystal: Um... I can see her somehow make a cameo in "Brain Age" or one of those detective games

Ruby: The World Ends With You. He would pwn as a reaper, plus I like him and Josh, and to have both of them in the same game... *squees loudly*
Sapphire: I can see her in Tekken XD Or something like Street Fighter. Any fighting game where most characters don't use any sort of weapon
Emerald: Hamtaro because of his height I can see him pull his hair back in a ponytail, get an ear pierced twice with two silver loop earrings, put on a green elf/santa-like cap... You probably all know where I'm going with this XD *mutter mutter LEGEND OF ZELDA mutter mutter*

Dia: Cooking Mama. Definitely XD
Pearl: I can somehow see him in the Ace Attorney series (and see him saying "Objection!" with that famous pose)
Platinum: Hmm... *keeps her in Pokemon* Actually, for some reason, I can see her in a Digimon game X_X

I remember a few weeks ago, while I was watching the news, they were doing a report on daycares (or something like that) and I saw a small boy reading PokeSpecial~

Red: Legend of Zelda for some reason...
Green: Final Fantasy
Blue: ......I have no clue...
Yellow: definitely Harvest Moon.
Gold: For some strange reason...Naruto games... *headdesk*
Silver: Metal Gear Solid (wut?)
Crystal:......Idk either...
Ruby: Nintendogs (....wtf?)
Sapphire: Any fighting game.
Emerald: Argh....for some reason, I think he would be in a Naruto game too. D:
Diamond: A cooking game.
Pearl: Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. >3

Red: Final Fantasy
Green: Some deeper, darker fighting game like Fable 2 or summat.
Blue: Grand Theft Auto IV No, she's more of a pickpocket/con artist.
Yellow: Harvest Moon, absolutely. Ponies and rainbows~
Gold: I can see him playing Guitar Hero, oddly.
Silver: Eh ...
Crystal: Something educational.
Ruby: I agree with Serene ... Ruby would fit right into TWEWY. Especially all the parts that involve brands and fashion. xD
Sapphire: A street fighting game.
Emerald: Ninja Town ... that chibi little puzzle game with the two-inch-tall ninjas. -bricked-
Diamond: Any game that involves cooking and food.
Pearl: For some reason, Mario springs to mind. -imagines Pearl as Princess Peach- x_X
Platinum: Clue, because I couldn't think of anything else.

Hey, RyuKun did my theme, too :3 It's pretty nice, I must say.

Eh, plenty of people have been inactive from the club. In fact, there's probably only 2/5 of us still active in here. Or maybe more >.>

And I almost forgot about the trends in TWEWY, even though I've been playing it XD Natural Puppy, ftw! Ruby would be Shiki's best friend, I think XD And they can both bug Neku if his button loosens up again XD

I don't think Arceus has even appeared in the manga yet. :x

And, well, I don't think PokeSpecial is ever going to be as popular and well-known as it could be, but it has a pretty big and dedicated fanbase. :D
 
I read volume 1 of Pokemon Manga Special when I was like...6 or 7, I didn't know about it first, so I thought it was based of the anime. I saw it at my local public library, and said, "What the hey? It's Pokemon!" (well, I whispered that xD)
So...I checked it out.
The first thing I saw was Red.
Thought it was supposed to be Ash.
Then I saw the Poliwhirl.
I'm like..."Ash has a Poliwhirl?"
Then I saw the Arbok getting cut in half.
I'm like..."Eep! So violent!" (Okay, I was like what? 6? 7? I was squeamish then! xD)
Then I saw Green.
Thought it was Gary.
Lol, I'm gonna stop now. The point is, I was introduced to it years ago, didn't get obsessed with it until about one year ago. Don't judge me! xD
The other point? It's still possible to read it here in America, it's just not very easy.
I went to my other local public library a few months ago and tried to find a copy of the PokeSpe. There was only one of the first volume, and it was already checked out.
 
Tomorrow Monday :O But now it's still Sunday, yah ^^

PC splits quotes more often now. O_O It's fun. XD Although, believe it or not, it never actually occured to me to draw them as PokeChimeras. XD; I draw them as animals. Probably 'cuz it's easier. Masa likes to draw Silver with kitty ears and a tail, because it goes well with Gold being a dog. -shot-

Oh wao. XD The first time you ever saw it? :O The first time Masa actually got her hands on the Singapore volumes, she was stunned. But I've never actually seen another person reading PokeSpe before, even a random kid. XD; That kinda figures because I live in a tiny town where people who read manga are scarce... There is a bookstore that has the two "Best of" thingies, though.

Hmm.

I'm leading a fangame project - new region, Pokemon, chars, the works. And was thinking about drawing a PokeSpe fanarc to go along with it.

Topaz is a slightly underconfident boy who takes a Cublaze from Prof. Maple's abandoned backpack to defend himself and his younger brother when a Team Ombra grunt attacks them with a Pokemon to steal the research papers in that backpack. The Cublaze becomes attached to him and is distressed when he tries to leave - he wants to keep it with him, and is allowed to on the condition that he goes on a quest to fill the Kailou Pokedex. He is meant to be the "universal big brother figure", protective of anyone who needs his help, and his desire to be strong for his brother and Pokemon is what gives him courage.

Amethyst is a tough and world-wise Kantonian who recently emigrated to Kailou with her partner Marowak. She is visiting relatives when she receives a request from Prof. Maple to act as an investigator, and look into Team Ombra's operations. In return, she will be given a rare and unique Pokemon to train, and she chooses Mokkaserp from the two choices (there were SUPPOSED to be three, but...) Amethyst is infuriated and baffled by Topaz's impulsive-appearing actions, and has a bit of trouble grasping why he would fight so hard for people and Pokemon that haven't done anything for him. Her battles with him are usually attempts to keep him out of the way and out of danger, since he is much more of a novice than her.

Krogan is the Team Ombra grunt who was commanded to steal Professor's research papers. He seems disillusioned with his work, not entirely approving of his team's deeds, but he continues on despite his misgivings. Krogan becomes envious of the power the two starter Pokemon seem to possess, and takes Grullora with hopes of gaining strength and impressing a certain Ombra admin...

I'm really trying to imitate the story and art style of PokeSpe when I do this. It's like a fanfiction, kinda...but in manga form. And meant to seem official.

It's not going to be started for months, but the ideas are there.
