Like Green or Blue. Actually, Blue might not be a bad idea...although really, with the amount of exp. that baby should be getting, I think, at this point, that it's plausible for him to just skip the middle stage and become some omega-fluffy-winged Pokemon of awesome.

Actually, Togetaro evolving WITHOUT a shiny stone into a Togekiss also sound plausible. I mean, Gold's Sunkern evolved into Sunflora without a sun stone. Maybe it will be another "SCREW the rules! I'm evolving!" *evolves into Togekiss*

Great to see you again, clover! I agree Togetaro's evolution is long overdue. What stinks is that they'll do Togetic's showcasing very quick and jump to Togekiss (still disappointed you can't get one before National Dex).

Just saying...anything possible, after all Aitaro evolved into that hideous thing (doesn't look too bad in the games, but not good either. Stick it in the manga, and...oh dear.....you can't flatter him really.)

Hmm... first post here, and fitting it'd be in the Pokemon Special Thread (probably the only reason why I joined, because most other poke spec forums are dead :D)

And I kinda understand why Ruby doesn't want to admit his feelings. He's proud, especially when you look at his rather flaunting personality. The idea of confessing his love (or to him, weakness I believe) to someone like Sapphire, someone who holds ideals that contrast strongly to what he believes in, would definitely be distasteful. There could be a multitude of other ideas, that I had in my head a few minutes ago, but disappeared, but I think this is probably one of the more prominent reasons why he refuses to confess. And yes, I especially abhor him for this reason. The chemistry is there, hurry up and hook up already x.x.

Oh and I think it's adorable how Ruby forces dresses onto Sapphire XD. It ticks her off, while showing how much he cares at the same time. Such typical Ruby.

And Sapphire, happy birthday, hope your wish(es) come true, most notably the one with you and Ruby.

And I wish to join this club of awesomeness. My favorite character(s) are Red, Green(m), Gold, Ruby, Sapphire and my favorite shipping is franticshipping.

yeah...you're right... -_-. part of the reason i say that is because i like togapi's design more than togekiss's xP.

in one picture of the hgss manga, it showed aipalm evolving into ambipalm. gold and the kimono were crowding around it and togetaro was left alone, kicking a rock. maybe gold didnt play with it enough. it sort of shows that gold sometimes ignores it and isnt being a good trainer. :'(

I think it is just Togepi's own personality. Right after it hatched it already had this slightly angry badas* face and direct started gambling. It is just not a really happy Pokemon itself. XD Seeing the pictures of the Pokathlon just proves it. Togepi seems to be very competitive against the other Pokemon. I think it has to do with Togepi itself. Not really Gold's fault. Nope.
Though Togepi's personality matches Gold's pretty well. Maybe it will evolve if it finds happiness in a partnership. X3

Potentially, that's a lethal combination, as if it evolved, and they have such close-knit personalities, they'd be able to battle without Gold concentrating, enabling him to easily do whatever else is needed, i.e. command Explotaro,Aitaro etc. at will.

And Professor Oak (or possibly somebody else) said in GSC that eggs hatched by Gold will inherit his personality and ambitions at the time....maybe that's why he hasn't been seen with Pichu since it used Volt Tackle in the Emerald saga? Because it's fulfilled its' (short at the time of fulfillment) life's ambition???
