Started playing this but had to stop pretty quickly, there seems to be a lot of lag in the HQ and the first area when I left the building. The lag in the HQ seemed to improve if I turned off the running shoes a bit but was still there. Seems like a really cool game and will continue to keep an eye on it and will try it out again in a future update.
So does the game pick up where you leave off in the base with the legendary that Team Cypher is trying to make, kind of looking forward to continuing :D
That are good ideas - but I like Togepi more, because of the happiness this Pokémon presents you.^^ It's like a happy good luck charm and Togekiss is a powerhouse.^^ So he can get a wonderful emotional bond with this Pokémon more - like a recovery. ;-) (And can destroy all other opponents. XD )
And I don't write this, because Togepi is my favourite Pokémon. I really believe, that it would be helpful for him. :-)
Yeah, I caught a female mimikyu. It took ages, they're an infrequent spawn around the haunted mansion, but where mimikyu spawns, I grind, regardless of usability in a run. Mimikyu is one of my favorite ghosts, and I'm a ghost pokemon girlie through and through.
I think it's funny the one thing we agree on is he needs a fairy type though, lol. I can see where you're coming from with the friendship evo though, it's a nice thought.
As I see it, Mare could offer a mimikyu the unconditional acceptance it needs as such a shy person himself, and in the process she's more than capable of making sure he gets the message it goes both ways and that he doesn't have to fear the spotlight either. The thought of a mischevious little ghost to stand beside him and occasionally elbow him to remind him he's supposed to be Scary is both hilarious and adorable to me. Also, earning the devotion and loyalty of a mimikyu is an admirable feat, and makes a fittingly intimidating companion for a villain, I think. Could make them partners in crime of a legendary tier.

I like him the way he is - a little bit shy, learning to be confident. When he gets like a maniac..., this would be drastic and way too much.^^'
But your way of thinking is interesting too. How about this? The only one who can shape our idea into reality is the mighty Pe_Zero, so...
@Pe_Zero My dear developer, is there a way to gift this magnificent companion a Pokémon in exchange for the one he lost? Would this one be a special type? Or can we choose ourselves? Maybe you have a idea in your mind, so that's going to be the way then (But we want to know, please. >_<). Or he don't get one? So many qustions - you're the only one, who can give us the answer. ;-)
You can find the items needed to evolve Charcadet in Henko City in the dojo, However I will warn you that you don't get to Henko City till the end of the beta when your pokemon are around level 40.
Greetings.
I recently have found out about this game and wanted to play it. However, I might be incredibly dumb and just can't get the game to run on my PC.
I downloaded the Mediafire 3.2 link and extracted the files. Then I proceeded to run the .exe, with no sucess. Installing the RPG XP RTP didn't help either.
I click on the .exe and nothing happens. To make sure it wasn't the version I downloaded the 2.2 version and the same happened.
This game looks really interesting and I really want to play. Any help is appreciated.

Have you tried running it as admin? Maybe a .dll file is missing on your computer to run it though no idea how to identify that if there is no debug error file to check
Have you tried running it as admin? Maybe a .dll file is missing on your computer to run it though no idea how to identify that if there is no debug error file to check
Well, yes I tried running as admin and that didn't help either.
And I do not know what this debug error file is. All I can say is that when I try to open the .exe, nothing happens. Literally nothing.
Also, might I know what .dll file you mean? A friend of mine tried to play it and it worked no problem.
Unfortunately, i cannot say for sure since it can vary, but i've heard a missing .dll file can often happen with rpgmaker not running but without seeing an error to say which it is, there is not much one can do, have you tried copy pasting the downloaded folder your friend has to your computer to ensure there is no missing files? Also maybe it's the OS or the anti-virus/firewall is blocking it from running without saying anything

Good Lord.
I finally fixed it. This problem also happened trying to play a certain mode in "The Settlers 4". Literally only one mode and why? My System locale was set to some random thing. I set it to where I actually live and that fixed it. So yeah, sorry to bother anyone here. I'll look forward to this game.

Hey, Loved the game really great job on it so far. I was wondering if there was any website like twitter or smth that I can use to follow the game's progress?
After around 24 hours of Gameplay, I finished the 3.0 beta. BOI, what a game. I frankly don't know what to say (besides that I came from Zwiggo, watched 5 minutes and decided to play it myself, lol).
Also Spoilers for newbies. You have been warned!
First things first, the game didn't crash on me, not even once. Besides a few error messages, nothing was so buggy that it was unplayable. There were of course a couple of glitches but really only the partners with their...bizarre movement.(Looking at you Lutia, teleporting DBZ style) They were however errors everytime I booted up the game, after I became a lieutenant I think.(Sorry, I only remember that chatot).
I'll keep the negative for later, first something I really enjoyed: The Story. Genuinely, I am waiting for the next update because I want to know what will happen next or so many questions I have that I want to know the answers of. Who is Kian, just the protag? What happened to Callais or the other 2713 members? Why does everyone besides me have thunderbolt on their team? Is Verlo actually right? So many questions.
Next thing: Variety. You have a lot of options from the beginning with two routes and a cave to get a couple of new members. Well, that is my opinion and experience, I only played up to Gen 6. And really nice that you can look up what Pokemons you get on which route. I thought I did a god job on planning my team, much to my dismay....(We'll get to that later).
Starters: Ok, why 3 steel types? Weren't Cipher introduced as having 3 main types, those being Steel, Psychic and Eletric. So, why not one of each? Doesn't make sense to me, but I chose Magnemite named Justice (Guess what that is referencing). Perhaps not the best choice for 25 levels because Magnemite is good, don't get me wrong, but not the powerhouse of a normal starter. Yes, Steel Electric is really good typing, but I'll get to *THAT* part towards the end. In all honesty, I was just really happy there were other starter options besides Grass, Fire and Water. (Or the Rat for Rocket Edition.)
Mega Evolutions. I am probably the only guy in the world that actually really like Megas. That big trump card, your ace up your sleeve. Probably just me though. I appreciate that they are in this, it feels good. Then why are there some megastones which aren't even accessible? Why are there TM's in Larch's lab (I tried) which aren't accessible? Felt off I have to be honest. It is a beta, it's not finished, as long as my save will work in future versions and I can get those things I "missed" I am completely fine with this.
Now...we get to the less happy parts...I sincerely hope I don't start ranting or come off as overly rude, but I do want to mention that some parts were really frustrating for me.
When I mean frustrating I mean lighting starts coming out of my eyes and I start saying bad words (another reference!).
First fight: Looker. Two sweepers, on acid. Toxicroak I found a way to beat but Mega-f*cking Arcanite? With Close Combat?! I'm sorry, Looker just has access to all TM's I see.
I will admit, my team is not the best in terms of typing. At the time of fighting Looker it was (All around lvl40): Magneton, Corvisquire, Gardevoir, Nidorino and Coalossal. I did have that apple dragon thing as well but there was no syrupy apple anywhere...no grass dragon for me...
I was able to beat Looker at the second attempt, with some luck and Lookers AI being....Poke-AI.
But, nothing, absolutely nothing come close to my anger towards the power plant. I grinded for two hours, got another member on my team and I still almost lost. THUNDERBOLT, AM I RIGHT?
It feels like you are forced into an early ground type just to deal with the sheer number of electric types the game throws at you. I cannot even count how often I got paralyzed. But the powerplant?
That was just unfair. No healing, around 12 possible trainers and literally no way out to even heal besides game over? Couldn't any of these weird machines been used as a heal station? Team Trouble had one in their hideout. Takami was seriously frustrating to fight. Leftovers on a Flaaffy, Magneton lvl 22. *Volt Switch*. I was around 6 or 7 levels higher and almost lost. I got through but man was it frustrating.
I wish I just had better moves to work with.
Lastly, more of a nitpick, if we get gadgets that let's us use HM's, can we get the moves earlier? Rock Smash and Cut suck, yeah but Surf I actually find useful (If I had a Water Pokemon, F no Wingull.)
Ok, let me finish with something positive here. All of the characters I like. There are a lot, but they are all properly introduced. You don't to perfectly remember Kian, or the Champion, only Callais.
Only after some time do you get to know Leader Verlo while not needing to know who Lutia is. Same thing for Dimaria or Mare. All are introduced with a really good pacing and you don't think like there are 15 characters which you all need to remember, serious props for that.
Almost a 1000 words eh? I almost outdid myself. A sincere apologies for this wall of text and the perhaps...ranting.
However, in all honesty. I want to see this game finished and flourish. I can't wait for the next update. Keep up the work mate.
About the Fan Game
Pokémon The New Order is an RPG XP Game that I've been developing since April 2020, probably due to boredom but most likely because I've always wanted to try and create my own Pokémon game!
The game is a fangame made in RPG Maker XP and in no way do I receive any profit or monetary compensation for it. I have made this game under fair use laws and do not intend to breach those.
The game takes place in the Fabelle region, a brand-new place with lots of new challenges to take on!
However, the game is inspired by colonelsalt's Team Rocket Edition ROM Hack. That means the gameplay will take an unexpected turn. This isn't your usual Pokémon game with you being a child completing your dream as a champion...
The Plot
You finally make your dream come true. Through your contacts, you manage to join the infamous Team Cipher, the dominant mafia group in the whole region of Fabelle!
Complete numerous missions and climb up the ranks to fulfill your very own destiny! Develop bonds with your teammates!
Fight off other villainous groups to reach the top!
Discover the dark side of Fabellian history and all the secrets the government has been keeping away from the public eye!
And remember... Don't ever take anything at face value...

FAQ
(Yeah, too lazy to edit this section greatly. Any questions have been answered in the topic so scroll down if you're curious)
How many gyms does this game have?
This game doesn't have any gyms, instead, you rank your way through the organization by completing your missions. Up until the end of Beta 3, your Mons should be lvl 43-ish.
Will my save transfer from version to version?
Save files from older versions will work on the newer ones, not the other way around. So your save from 2.0 will work on 3.0, but your file from 2.0 won't work on 1.0.
How do I evolve this Pokemon in this game?
All evolution changes are included in the Google Docs file, the link to it is above the Download section
Will you be able to play as a female character?
It will happen, but only after I finish the game. It'd require much more sprite work and changes in the script for that to happen too
Is there a Discord for this game?
Sorry, there isn't one. The game's taking a lot of time to make as is, so focusing even more of my time on managing and engaging in a discord server would be health detrimental xD
Where is the X? What am I supposed to do after X?
You receive the Cipher Phone at the beginning of the game/it's pickable in the HQ or the Lab to receive hints as to what your current objective is. If you still don't know what to do, feel free to ask here or try watching the gameplay on Youtube
Credits
Of course, I didn't make most of the assets used in the game. In this spoiler I've listed people whom I'd like to thank for their work, since without them, this wouldn't even exist.
If you notice any asset you created in this game and you're not listed in the spoiler, I am terribly sorry. Message me and I'll quickly add you to the credits.
If you see me using your work and you haven't stated it's completely free to use and are dissatisfied with me using it, message me and I'll work out the situation.
(Credits are bound to change as more Betas are released)

However, in all honesty. I want to see this game finished and flourish. I can't wait for the next update. Keep up the work mate.
To be really honest, I'm also almost finished BETA v 3.0, and I agree with these
I'll put some points for my experience so SPOILER WARNING for the people who hasn't really known the storyline
1. Story Line
The story line is not good... it's PHENOMINAL! It is one of my favourite story lines. It's not flat, but it's not throwing everything at you. Character development, overall Environment, Storyline animations (If you don't count the glitches), and other aspects were on the higher end of the spectrum. Playing through this game and reading the story line didn't make me feel bored, but also not overwhelmed at the same time
2. Characters
I totally agree, I love all the characters here, their backgrounds, their... vibes, I guess? They were all so good! To be honest, the cliff-hanger really made me can't wait for the next update. Character development was good, and I really can't add anything to what you already wrote. I'm the type of guy to be easily attached, and to be honest, I really hope that there will be a mission where you safe Takami, Callais and the other Grunts who were captured, I mean... When the police raid happened, it was so intense but also entertaining to be honest, it's the first main climax in the story in my opinion
3. Humor
I truly love how the characters speak, Favourite one? It has to be the Pokecenter's Nurses... For example at the gym storage, there's a Nurse that had a line that made me laugh, and when the police raid happened, it was also really funny that she knew I was a Cipher member but still healed my Pokemons because of her Moral Code that she is obligated to follow
4. Difficulty [Battles]
This is where I relate the most... By the time I fought Takami, I had a Magnemite, Togedemaru, Aron, Zubat, Zigzagoon, and Abra... When I fought him, I was like... "Oh this is gonna be easy, he's probably going to be as difficult as the guy in the shed with a level 15 Lilipup", but when I fought him... I got completely WORKED. I was like... "Oh no... this is actually going to be a challenge". Second attempt, I leveled my pokemons higher, before the highest was probably 21, but now its all around the 18s, but NOPE... Still lost, on 3rd Attempt I was desperate, "You know what I'll do? I'm gonna get a Sandshrew", so I replaced the Zigzagoon with a Machop, and a Abra with, you guessed it... a Sandshrew... Levelled them up a bit and...
"The Opponent's Magneton used Tri-Shot"
"Sandshrew fainted..."
Me: I want to die...
So... I levelled them up even more! All of them were around their 20s and...
"The Opponent's Flaafy used Power Gem"
"Sandshrew fainted..."
Me: I tarnation hate this guy...
With the use of my pokedollars and at least 21 revives used, I finally won... BARELY... My original plan was to ditch the Sandshrew but then the game threw more Poison, Electric, Bug (I had Roll Out), Flying (I had Roll Out), so I sticked with Sandshrew... But that caused my team to be overly dependant on Snadshrew (which became Sandslash)... by that time, Sandshrew was on his 30s, but the rest was on level 19 to 23... and now... my Sandslash is on level 51, while the others are at most level 36...
5. Difficulty [Puzzles]
The earlier puzzles were EASY, the arrow thingies, the Quiz, the laser thingies, the Teleports... no biggie. but the moment I stepped into that Professor's Lab... I have never wanted to punch a Super Nerd EVERR... There is this one puzzle where I have to make a quick U Turn... I FAILED A LOT... This literally caused me to have a mental breakdown... I almost felt like I was going to have an aneurysm, it got so bad that, I [a person who thinks computationally, since my Hobby includes programming], resorted to LITERALLY COUNTING the time it takes for the NPCs. I found that the 2 NPCs that looks back on forth to take a estimated ~4 seconds to turn around, and the SUPER NERD needs ~0.25 seconds to go straight, that means, 1 loop takes around 1 second. So some pro-tips:
Take the U-Turn when the Scientist [Further Left] has turned away for around 3 seconds or more, DO NOT move when he has just turned around
BEWARE the Super Nerd who is moving in circles at an accelerated high speed... he is a MENACE to society, and wish that he was one of the guys in the prison while Cipher Inc. was up
If you get caught, NEVER STAND STILL when you respawn, the Super Nerd that goes in the library, can and WILL catch you, which will in turn respawn you in the previous area, BEFORE the library and in which case if you do not move, a SCIENTIST will catch you, who will put you at the START of the room... This happened to me, which made me... not mad... but absolutely FURIOUS
Finally, take the U-Turn when the Super Nerd who goes in circle have just passed you, in which... SPRINT IMMEDIATELY
6. Conclusion
This Game is super duper really fun, and while it has its flaws... It's really good... I definitely recommend playing it.. And these flaws are not intense since... You're looking at a BETA game, There are still room to improve! And to the Game Developer, Please add a mission that you can save Callais, I'm attached to him XD... and 2... Thank you... Thank you for making this beautiful game with outstanding qualities for a BETA game... I know I sound like I was ranting, but... To be really honest... I'm just mad at the puzzles, they're hard... But, this game is super fun and I do wish for more... Keep up the good work
Good Lord.

I set it to where I actually live and that fixed it. So yeah, sorry to bother anyone here. I'll look forward to this game.
Alrighty, where to start? I guess I just made this account to comment on this awesome game and to support the person who made it. There will probably be Spoilers ahead, you have been warned!
So let's start with a few things that I liked so much I wish pokemon actually did that in their main games:
BERRIES TO SHOP!
I was overjoyed when I saw that there were multiple shops that sold berries. Man how I hate grinding for those or wasting hours on searching and finding them. #999LumBerries <3
I would love to have a shop that carries *all* kinds of berries, but alas we will not get greedy.
Second best thing: Megas are in town baby! I never played the gens where Megas where the thing since I didn't own a 3DS but man do I like the concept and the design of them. Although I haven't found too many Mega-Stones yet I hope to uncover them sooner or later.
The story itself is far from being boring or mundane. In fact it got me hooked on wanting to know what happens next and especially to see what happens to all the different charakters. I am also possibly replaying the game soon with another save file to choose the other options the story gave me when I had choices to make. Just to see if and what difference it makes. The characters are well written and feel genuine, which all in all is wonderful. My personal favourite after uncovering more of the story is Lutia. I simply adore the way her part of the story unfolded and what we learned while being on our mission with her.
I do find it nice to have a list of where which pokemon are obtainable but I would love to have a bit better availability for *some* items or pokemon. Like if you get a Charcadet it will probably be not that useful till shortly before the Beta ends. Since Armarouge and Ceruledge are really what makes this pokemon shine.
Now concerning the difficulty I was very pleased with how it played out. Admittedly I have set myself the task to kick Kian's butt at the start, so I was busy grinding a lot but my oh my it still was no cakewalk after that. And I like it that way I must say. My MVP against him was my then ace Azumarill with Defense Curl and Rollout.
Right now at the end of the Beta I have and have had many different Options to build a team which I do enjoy. Getting this games version of Fly has made getting around easier and therefore that is well. My current team is around level 46-ish and consists of Lucario (which will be my Mega once I find the stone for it), Corviknight, Azumarill, Vikavolt, Krookodile and Glimmora. I took Klink as the starter but ditched it fairly quickly.
Well now onwards to a few things I noticed: Sometimes getting through an area feels a bit convoluted with caves and stairs and all kinds of ways that lead somewhere and then back and then around and... I got lost a few times (in the desert especially, holy, it took like an hour to find the right path again). Also collecting all the items is satisfying but I was a bit overwhelmed by their number at a few instances and especially when having to backtrack nearly all areas and some multiple times to get everything since you don't have access to all the HM equivalents yet.
I have cut, fly and rock smash, missing strength, surf and rock climb. Oh and I do have flash, if anyone bothers to count that one. Did I miss one or will we simply get the others at a later point?
With that said: Having to meticulously search every area for Mega stones and TMs feels tiresome as hell after a while, so I would love if we had a document like the one where we know where the pokemon are located to know in which areas or on which routes to expect which Mega stones and TMs. It would make tracking down the moves and stones you really want to have easier.
Furthermore I would advocate for a way to "grind" money in the game. Usually you have things like the E4 and other repeatable trainers for that, here you currently don't have something in that regard or I have not discorvered it yet and would love to get to know it. Since there are things like the ability switcher where you can change the normal ability if the mon has one I would also love to have a way to give them their hidden ability at some point. Which surely will cost money to aquire or get aaand therefore a source of said money would be greatly appreciated. Am already fond of the nature select house aswell, helps a lot in getting your team ready for those fierce battles but it is a tad too late in the game for my personal liking. I'd loved to have access to that in the town where we got the move re-learner and the big Pokemart. Would have made it oh so much sweeter and helped with the thougher battles that start at that point. Looking at you, Power Plant!
So onto the battles some more: They were good, really though at some points and satisfying to win. Yet maybe a bit too though for the casual player so I would not recommend tuning them down but rather to give the options to get yourself stronger more easily, maybe a good spot for grinding something along those lines. I have played some competetive pokemon so I know my shenannigans but alas, I am rambling again. My favourite and imho hardest battle so far was Chizome, yet I maybe had the wrong tactic going into that one, dunno. Looker on the other hand was surprisingly easy, yet I also had a few mons to counter his ace, so I guess that half-counts.
My least favourite thing: The puzzles. I thing they are overdone at some points. Like the whole lab section is one big puzzle more or less and I really really struggled with enjoying that one. I would prefer there be an alternative way to solve them. Like should you be able to dodge all the things and easily get through: Well done, but for the people struggeling with it I would have like to have a way to "battle" myself through some things rather than solve them. Maybe at that point it would help to design it around some "help" boxes that if you activate will make the puzzle easier, like slow down the dude that runs around or stuff like that but you have to battle the box to activate that, like a robot thingy we battled. Oh and it would help to add a small note to the deciphering puzzle that there in fact is a button to rotate the parts and to maybe display the name of the button too, like a tooltip.
All in all it was a great experience so far and I am looking forward to the next patch <3
