Silver sighed. He sat down against the trunk of a tree and looked at the little Magby who was sitting in his lap. Gold had once had a Magby, but it got very sick and died. Then, the bushs near them started rustling. Silver quickly leapt to his feet, only having about...8 or 9 years of experience. He learned that whenever you heard anything suspicous, you never ignored it or it could cost you your life possibly.
Magby turned around and faced the bushes. In a few seconds a blue and black lion cub, with a tail and a little star at the tip of it popped out. Silver wondered what this Pokemon was, so he scanned it with his Pokedex. He clicked a blue button and the top part of it flipped over and snapped on to the back.

Species: Shinx, the Flash Pokemon.
Entry: Its forelegs have a muscle-based system of generating electricity. Its body shines if endangered.
Silver pressed the blue button again and the top covered the screen, turning the machine off. Silver slipped it back in to his pocket and turned his attention on the Shinx. Silver was a little nervous. He had never battled, and he didn't know if it was easy or not, although Gold had made it look easy.
"Ok...Magby use Ember!" Silver said.
Magby nodded and shot out tiny black embers. The embers soared through the air, and then they bursted in to flames and smacked straight in to the Shinx. The Shinx yelped in shock and then skidded to a halt. It shook its head and then looked at Magby furiously.
The Shinx barked and charged Magby. A few seconds later and the Shinx slammed in to Magby, sending him flying across the ground. Magby stuck his claws in to the hard ground, which made him stop skidding. He jumped to his feet and kept his gaze on Shinx.
"Now use Smog!"
Magby drew in a deep breath of air, as if he were about to do a huge burp, but then shot out black ooze at the Shinx, The Shinx apparently didn't think anything of the liquid, and ignored it. Then the ooze hit it, and upon impact the ooze blew up.
Shinx flew out of the smoke that had risen up and slammed in to a tree trunk. Magby smirked and dashed after it. Then, he slammed himself in to the SHinx, causing even more damage and then stopped. The Shinx slowly slid down the tree trunk and came to a halt at the ground.
Magby turned around as if he knew the battle was over, but then the Shinx rose to its feet and slammed itself in to Magby. Magby slid across the ground and came to a halt at Silver's feet.
"Magby get up and use Smog and then Ember!" Silver ordered.
Magby lept to his feet and shot the black liquidy ooze straight for Shinx. Shinx was smart enough this time, and leapt out of the way of the ooze. The ooze hit the tree trunk behind Shinx and exploded. Shinx had its attention on the tree and paid no attention to Magby.
Magby shot the black embers in to the air. They soared through the air and then caught on fire, then they slammed in to Shinx, sending it flying in to the exploded tree ruins. When Shinx hit the tree, the tree groaned, but then collapsed under the impact.
Silver sighed. Battling wasn't as easy as Gold made it out to be, but it wasn't extremely hard either. Suddenly, out of the smoke and dust the fallen tree created, Shinx appeared and it landed on top fo Magby and started furiously scratching him.
"Magby use Smog now!" Silver knew the attack was risky. The explosion could ery well causse damage to Magby from such a close range, but there was no other way to get the Shinx off of him.
Magby shot the liquidy black ooze and it exploded as it hit the surprised SHinx. It exploded and sent SHinx flying off of Maby, but it caused Magby to be hit and sent him skidding across the dirt covered ground.
Silver gulped. He hoped Magby was ok. The air was covered in dust and smoke. Smoke from the explosion and then dust from Magby slidding across the ground. The dust eventually settled and Magby was lying on his stomach at the base of a tree, while Shinx was knocked out unconcious against a rock.
Magby's eyes flickered open and he rose up to his feet. Silver was filled with happiness. Magby was ok. Silver smield and turned his attention back to Shinx. He grabbed one of the empty Pokeballs on his belt and held it in his hand. he pressed the middle button once, which caused it to grow in to full size, and then he threw it at the Shinx.
The ball hit the Shinx and opened up in the air. A bright red light flashed and engulfed the lion cub Pokemon. The red light disappeared and sucked Shinx in to the Pokeball. It fell to the ground and started rocking back and forth. Silver held his breath as if it would help to catch the new Pokemon.

OOC: Let the thing be caught now. Also, sorry for the short post, but PC was doing funky earlier, and I couldn't remember everything I had tried to post.
Sparky then eloctro shocked Shinx with a powerful, high-voltage, thundershock, which had then cause paralysis. Sparky then attack it with a powerful Quick attack to his left flank, causing a considerable amount of damage to the pokemon. Sparky cried in triumph," Piikaah!" Wes then threw the pokeball.
It swiveled back and forth multiple times, until, it just stopped completly. It was not caught, for it didn't indicate a success, but it also wouldn't proceed to another wiggle either. Wes stood there, curious as to he problem. He then heard a "Yo", and he turned around an saw Joyce.
He called back to her and said," So you finally made it huh?" He then motioned with his hand for her to come over there. "This thing apparently doesn't want to be caught. I guess it just wants to sit there in the pokeball." He then decided to go and pick it up, and place it in his bag for now, and maybe it would do something else later. Most thought he was a fool to do such things, but he always found it to be fun to take some risks instead of always playing it safe.

Joyce strolled up the path towards him, hands in the pockets of her dark grey jacket. She was in no hurry, enjoying the breezy spring morning and the view that Route 202 presented. The path led uphill. Behind them, the eerily empty streets of Sandgem Town opened up to the eye. Sparse woodland stretched to the left and right, growing denser and darker ahead, and weeds grew tall around the sandy path. The sky was blue, with white patchy clouds, foretelling good weather and lifitng Joyce's spirits.
Olive was close behind her. Like most Eevee, he was a very tame creature. Although they had met only half an hour ago, he had immediately accepted Joyce as both owner and leader. The smells and sights on Route 202 excited him and led him to zig-zag through the grass as though chasing something, but he never went far and quickly returned back to Joyce.
"Good catch?" asked Joyce from earshot distance.

Jubilife City:
A nice technological town, and the only place in Sinnoh with access to Poketches and Pokedexes. This place isn't the biggest city, but is one of the most important in the entire world, as the cure is being tested there.
Important Places!
Jubilife TV Station:
The main center of the entire city. It's securtiy has been upped after being invaded by the Blank Division.
Research Lab:
Where the virus cure is being developed, this is the most important building in the world, and no one is allowed inside except for the scientists, and the Champions.
Poketch Factory:
Where Poketches and Pokedexes are being developed. It is another important place.
That's it... except for the event.

After a long day of work, the factory was beginning to shut down operation, the machines were shutting down, and the people were beginning to leave.
"Shiii!" Screeched a Shinx as he dropped down from the air ducts. "SHIII!!" And a green bolt of lightning fried one of the people, causing the rest to begin to panic. A Zubat flew in, and a Rhyhorn jumped down, these two just as pissed as the Shinx.
(Note: Do not kill the VRUS pokemon, as they are important for the first few towns.)

Blarim awoke two hours after he and his Pokemon got struck by the mad Staravia. He rubbed his head and looked around. "Turtwig! Turtwig, were are you?!" Screamed Blarim, looking around in fury for his Turtwig. "Turt..." Turtwig muttered. Blarim just realized Turtwig was laying down behind him, looking like he too just woke up. Turtwig had an odd look on his face-he had never seen Blarim this mad before. "It's alright, Turtwig." Said Blarim, fully turning around to pat Turtwig. "Where's Shinx?" Asked Blarim, looking around for his electric friend. He got his response as Shinx walked in to the small clearing where Turtwig and Blarim had settled. Shinx had what looked like an oval green bean in it's mouth-a berry that grew in Celestic Town. Blarim recognized it as the Micle Berry. The berry itself was one of the most dryest berries-but it made anything eaten with it sweet. "Shinx, don't eat that. Here, let me get something out of my bag." Said Blarim, searching around in his bag. He found some rice balls he packed before leaving. "Here." He said, breaking one into three pieces for Turtwig, Shinx, and him. He put the rice ball in front of Turtwig and waited for Shinx to come over. Shinx walked over, and placed the berry in front of Blarim. Blarim took the berry and set a rice ball in front of Shinx, then tore the berry evenly for the three of them. He put the pieces on all of the rice balls. "Dig in, guys." Said Blarim, picking up the rice ball to eat. He had Pokemon food, but Turtwig loved human food, and Blarim wanted to see what Shinx thought about human food before eating Pokemon food. Shinx sniffed the rice ball and took a big bite. Fortunetly, Shinx smiled. "Is that good, Shinx?" Blarim asked. Shinx nodded it's head. Blarim then looked at Turtwig and saw he was eating his food with hastiness. They just sat there eating, when a black streak flashed by in the sky and came towards them. "Staravia." Blarim whispered to himself.
"Turtwig, Shinx, get ready!" Said Blarim, getting up with his rice ball in hand. But when Staravia came down, something was different...Oh, it was just a Starly. Blarim sighed gratefully. "Well, that's good." Said Blarim. He didn't feel like catching a Starly-he wasn't too big of a fan of flying pokemon. About ten minutes later, they all finished eating. "On to Jubilife City!" Shouted Blarim joyfully. He and his Pokemon didn't talk about the Staravia attack at all...It was all in the past. Water under the bridge. He and his Pokemon pretty much already walked most of the route. They were just slowed down by the Staravia. They could see Jubilife City in the distance. A large city, it was. But they still had a ways to go. Plus, Shinx was starting to get tired. "Come back, Shinx!" Called out Blarim, taking it back into it's Pokeball. Turtwig seemed quite then usual. Turtwig was usually a quiet Pokemon, but it still made noise. But Turtwig's leaf was drooping and it walked slowly. "We need to get you in a Pokecenter, buddy." Said Blarim. "Come back into your Pokeball." As Blarim got out the Pokeball, Turtwig shook it's head. "You don't want to go into your Pokeball?" Turtwig shook it's head again. "Ok...But I'm taking you to a Pokecenter when we get to Jubilife. Turtwig didn't even reply. He was really worried about Turtwig now. But luckily they were about 30 feet from Jubilife City. They walked into Jubilife city and were greeted by the smells of a city. The only big city Blarim had ever been in was SnowPointe city, and Veilstone city, but SnowPointe was actually very small, it just spanned over a large area. They saw the Pokecenter soon, and they walked in. "Pokeball, please." Said Nurse Joy when he greeted her. He took Turtwig back into his Pokeball, and handed Shinx's ball and Turtwig's ball to her. "Is that all?" Asked Nurse Joy. "Yes, and thank you very much." Said Blarim. "I didn't become a nurse to not to my job...Please sit down and wait, while I make a checkup on these Pokemon. Blarim sat and waited for what must have been ten minutes, when Nurse Joy came back out. She was sweating. "Are my Pokemon all right?" Blarim said, springing up from his chair. "I...I..I haven't se..seen this in a long time. Your Turtwig is perfectly fine, but your, uhh, Shinx ha-has something very ba-bad going on wit-with it."
"What is wrong with Shinx?!" Asked Blarim, practically yelling. Faces turned to him. "Why don't you come with me..." Said Nurse Joy, entering the room were she preformed her checkups. Turtwig was sleeping, and he looked perfectly fine. But Shinx was shifting and turning in it's sleep and had a pale face. "What is wrong with my Shinx...?" Asked Blarim, trying but failing to be calm. "I..I haven't seen it in a long time. But your Shinx won't wake up." Said Nurse Joy, pacing. "Why?" Asked Blarim, struggling to contain himself. "The last Pokemon that had this woke up after a very long time. But it had nightmares all the time while it was sleeping." Answered Nurse Joy. "How?" Asked Blarim. "I don't know! I really don't know! So please, stop asking me it!" Yelled Nurse Joy. Blarim had never seen a Nurse Joy this angry...He stopped asking. "Listen. I need to make a few phone calls. But you need to stay in Jubilife city until I am done." "How long will that be?" Asked Blarim. "I don't know...Maybe a day." Blarim sighed. "But I need you to leave now..." Said Nurse Joy, escorting him to the door of the Checkup room. "I am sorry, I really am" Said Nurse Joy as she pushed him out and shut the door. Blarim just sighed to himself. He didn't get Turtwig, either..."Here." Said Nurse Joy, opening the door. She gave him Turtwig's ball and shut the door. Blarim opened the ball and Turtwig came out. "I don't know what's wrong...But we have to deal with it. Ok?" Blarim said. Turtwig nodded. They walked out of the Pokecenter into the streets of the big city...

They saw the Pokecenter soon, and they walked in. "Pokeball, please." Said Nurse Joy when he greeted her. He took Turtwig back into his Pokeball, and handed Shinx's ball and Turtwig's ball to her. "Is that all?" Asked Nurse Joy. "Yes, and thank you very much." Said Blarim. "I didn't become a nurse to not to my job...Please sit down and wait, while I make a checkup on these Pokemon. Blarim sat and waited for what must have been ten minutes, when Nurse Joy came back out. She was sweating. "Are my Pokemon all right?" Blarim said, springing up from his chair. "I...I..I haven't se..seen this in a long time. Your Turtwig is perfectly fine, but your, uhh, Shinx ha-has something very ba-bad going on wit-with it."
"What is wrong with Shinx?!" Asked Blarim, practically yelling. Faces turned to him. "Why don't you come with me..." Said Nurse Joy, entering the room were she preformed her checkups. Turtwig was sleeping, and he looked perfectly fine. But Shinx was shifting and turning in it's sleep and had a pale face. "What is wrong with my Shinx...?" Asked Blarim, trying but failing to be calm. "I..I haven't seen it in a long time. But your Shinx won't wake up." Said Nurse Joy, pacing. "Why?" Asked Blarim, struggling to contain himself. "The last Pokemon that had this woke up after a very long time. But it had nightmares all the time while it was sleeping." Answered Nurse Joy. "How?" Asked Blarim. "I don't know! I really don't know! So please, stop asking me it!" Yelled Nurse Joy. Blarim had never seen a Nurse Joy this angry...He stopped asking. "Listen. I need to make a few phone calls. But you need to stay in Jubilife city until I am done." "How long will that be?" Asked Blarim. "I don't know...Maybe a day." Blarim sighed. "But I need you to leave now..." Said Nurse Joy, escorting him to the door of the Checkup room. "I am sorry, I really am" Said Nurse Joy as she pushed him out and shut the door. Blarim just sighed to himself. He didn't get Turtwig, either..."Here." Said Nurse Joy, opening the door. She gave him Turtwig's ball and shut the door. Blarim opened the ball and Turtwig came out. "I don't know what's wrong...But we have to deal with it. Ok?" Blarim said. Turtwig nodded. They walked out of the Pokecenter into the streets of the big city...
