    Part 1- Introduction

Welcome to the world of Pokemon Tourmaline (formerly Pokemon Solar and Lunar), where you are about to embark on an amazing adventure through the unexplored region of Isho, meeting over 150 new Pokemon, new gym leaders, and a whole new way to play!

    Part 2- The Story

The story of Pokemon Tourmaline takes place in the lush, beautiful region of Isho. A normally peaceful region, the evil Team Cosmos has been wreaking havoc across the land, stealing Pokemon and rare items. Who can stop their rampage of chaos?

In the peaceful town of Tinygem, a 10-year old kid wakes up in the rays of the morning sun, looking forward to getting their first Pokemon and starting a journey to become a Pokemon Master. In this case, we will use the male character, Max. When Max walks down the stairs, he finds that three people have broken into his house. He hides behind the railing, unseen by the mysterious group. A woman, apparently their leader, commands the grunts to take care of Max's mother. The grunts gang up on her and engage in a battle with their Pokemon against hers. The mother's Pokemon is quickly knocked out by the grunts' Pokemon. The leader then orders the grunts to search the house, with Max wondering what she is making the grunts search for. They start with the bookshelf, rummaging through the books, with no luck. They search the rest of the house, and still nothing. Then one of the grunts steps on a creaky floorboard, realizing there is something hidden underneath it, and rips it up. Two dusty old books titled, "The Legend of the Solar Being" and "The Legend of the Lunar Being" lie under the floorboard. The woman retrieves it and laughs, "Finally! With this book, nothing will stop me from achieving what I rightfully deserve!" She then spots Max hiding on the stairs, and Max charges down towards her. "You think you can stop me, Mystique, you little boy? Hah, don't be foolish! Team Cosmos can't be stopped by anyone, including you!" She commands a grunt to stop him. She then escapes with the other grunt and the book. The grunt sends out his Pokemon and starts to attack Max, but his mother quickly gives him a Pokemon. Max battles the grunt with his mother's Pokemon and quickly defeats the grunt. The grunt, shocked by the loss, flees. Max attempts to chase the grunt, but him mother stops him, and asks for her Pokemon back.

Suddenly, the main character's childhood friend, Emma, comes into the house to remind the main character that they have to meet with Professor Holly to get their first Pokemon. She sees the mess Team Cosmos made in Max's house and asks his mom what happened. Max's mom says that it is nothing to worry about. She calls Max over to the floorboard and says she wants to show him something. She removes the floor board next to the ripped-off one, and removes an old book titled "The Oracle of the Star Guardian". "Thank goodness they didn't find this book. There would have been DIRE consequences if they got a hold of this book." She tells Max to take the book with him, try to stop Team Cosmos and get the other two books back. She tells him she will meet him in later in his journey and fully explain why the books must be obtained. She then sends the two kids off. Max and Emma head towards the edge of town, where Route 301 starts. once they get there, they see a woman wearing a lab coat standing there. It is Professor Holly. She greets the two kids and says that it is too dangerous to go on the route without a Pokemon and that she will escort them.

When Max, Emma and Professor Holly arrive in the quiet forest town of Ruburgh, they go straight to the professor's lab, which sits on a hill overlooking the town. Professor Holly explains about training Pokemon and related things. She then offers them a choice of three starter Pokemon: Aquotter, Embear, and Treecoon. Max chooses his first Pokemon, then accepts a Pokedex and 5 Poke Balls from Professor Spruce, then starts to walk off. But once Emma gets her Pokemon and items, she says she challenges you to a battle. Whether Max wins or loses, Professor Holly is impressed with Max and Emma's battling, and recommends that they take on the Pokemon League Challenge. Max and Emma are interested in the proposition, and Professor Holly tells them to go to Sappharbor City to take on the first gym. Emma takes off first, followed by Max, both determined to get to Sappharbor City. And for Max to stop the evil Team Cosmos from unleashing Isho's most powerful force...

  • Anyone can use the name, Aqua Mudkip. You don't have exclusive rights to the name. Besides, as I have said before, there have been several games with similar names.

  • Aqua Mudkip: I took the name since 2006 and I'm not finished with it yet.

Honestly, no one is going to keep track of this kind of stuff. If you want to create a database that details who has what fangame/pokemon name, then go right ahead. Otherwise, don't bother claiming something like that.

The thing with the books sounds interesting. I like the Fakemon art, too; very official-looking.

  • We have now finally recieved concepts for the Fossil Pokemon. Introducing RAPTIKE, RAPTERROR, TADPOD, and NESSISAUR!!! :D

The Artwork is credited to Jenicole, a friend of Dice, and a very good artist.

Also... we have a new caterpillar line, made by sorakairi1014 (and permission to use them), to replace the Silarva line, which has some similarities to the Grubble line on Acanthite, namely to Cinnamoth. Introducing... GRUBLY, CHRYSILK, GLORIMOTH, and MARTHOK!!! The new line is still based on the Silkworm, but with new moths.

    GRUBLY
    CHRYSILK
    GLORIMOTH
    MARTHOK

    Enjoy!!! :)

    EDIT:

And yet another concept from the artist sorakairi1014, this time an existing pokemon evolution. Introducing... PRARISH!!! Prarish is the evolved form of Absol, replacing a proposed concept that never materialized, ABSASTER (Catastrophe Pokemon). Here is the info directly from sorakairi:

    "PRARISH(prair-rish)-----Perish Pokemon
    DARK/PSYCHIC
    H: 7'4''---W: 396.2lb
ABL: super luck: high critical hit ratio---prevention: when Prarish has less than 1/3 of it's HP left, one of its stats will sharply increase
INFO: An extremly rare POKEMON that was once said to be a myth, some of them make their nests on ruins, and battlefields. Old stories say that PRARISH is a gaurdian POKEMON, they can not only predict natural disasters, but can also other tragic events such as a war or the fall of a civilization. It will do anything it can to prevent these disasters, if it fails it'll make a nest on the place of the event, to remind it of the pain."

    Enjoy, once again!
