Yes, everything :(

But I am starting again so you DO NOT have to worry. The beta will be out in a month (+ and - 15 days may be possible). I t will feature 2 Gyms.
 
If they're something to do with the story, then it'll be a pretty wierd story. The starters in any hack come in two categories: type trio or no choice. For example, in Flame of Rage, you can get a Growlithe, Vulpix or Houndour, which don't form an effective type triangle but are all equally ineffective against each other. On the other hand in Prism, you can only get Larvitar.

Not much, a Rookie (a little boy), 1st Gym leader (Old man with a Purple cloak and a hat) and the second Gym leader (a young woman, dressed in leaves and with a flower crown on her head)

EDIT: I was also thinking of only one starter (smeargle, ditto, something like that)

EDIT 2: Oh! I completely forgot! The hero and the heroine!

Ja, i've gotten a good start to the map you want. Id post a pic but i'll keep the map to my self until i get a lil more done.

Anyway since you are thinking about using a diffrent base might i recommend emerald? Although its less stable than ruby, or fire red id does have much more space than ruby and slighly more space than firered (For maps)

Back to the mapping board.

He's just like I imagined him! He's perfect! Great job, you don't have to do the down, left and right because the gym will be made so (but you can do it if you want)

Anyway i've looked through the rest of the rom and their are a ton of unfinished tiles.

You know the white sand tiles? Apparently their are no monutain corner tiles for the white sand set. Nor are their grass boarder ones. And rock on white sand either.

Now back on track. i've finished the map up and i think i've got it connected properly.

all i need now is to know what pokemon you want for fishing (Levels) and water (Levels as well)

Shall i work on hot canyon next? (My skills with citys = bad lol)
 
A good starter would be Misdreavus, Murkrow or Mightyena.

Also, I didn't notice before but I always have issues with hacks started by people who don't script. Meh, I still voted this HotW.

Evolution as a starter = not gonna happen. Poochyena is the pre-evo so that would be the one asa starter. if we decide to use them
 
I can't wait for it to come out! It's a nice hack!
I hope more tiles get inserted. ;) Good luck anyway!

Uhm...
When I tried to insert him, he was pink. I pasted it onto an empty document and... he was pink!
Maybe try editing the gentleman and try a little higher quality image...

srry bout tht he actually was pink on the tileset i was using...
here the updated version along with some other OWs

we have:
1st gym leader
the rookie
2nd gym leader
the heroine
the hero
really all u told me for noe

hey Ice Charizard wat bout the rival and/or friend (or is the friend the rival)tht u mention in the bit of story.
