    Ms. Belle
    Room 102, Biology
    Teacher Trainer

Dixie walked quietly up to the classroom. She was very uptight and serious going into Room 102 to teach her biology class. She did not want any nonsense to occur. This was her first day, and she was going to delve right into the information.

She opened the door, and walked into the white classroom. The class was filled with approximately 16 desks. They think I can't teach well. They don't think I can handle a large class. Just because I am a woman and only know basic english. Whatever. I know my ecology and I'll teach it.

The woman sat down at the computer and made a quick powerpoint listing the general topics she would be teaching this year, then dates of tests, quizzes, and labs, and then grades, supplies, and rules. She did it in little bullets because she didn't want to look at the screen the whole time.

Now, students walked into the classroom, and they sat down ready to learn. When the bell rang, Ms. Belle started teaching. "Good morning, students. I am Ms. Belle, and I will be your teacher this year. We will be studying Biology. I will explain the syllabus today, so listen and pay attention."

She clicked on the PowerPoint and the Presentation loaded. "So, we will be studying biology, as I said before. Biology is not one science. It is many. We will study ecology, evolutionary science, molecular biology, biochemistry, molecular genetics, cytology, and biotechnology."

"Ecology is the study of ecosystems. Evolutionary science is the study of changes in the DNA of species' over time. Molecular biology is the study of molecules involved in biology. Biochemistry is the study of chemical reactions that occur in living organisms. Molecular genetics is a detailed study of DNA. Cytology is the study of cells. Biotechnology is the study of genetic engineering."

    The Transfiguration

    Adeline Roux
    PUT Academy
    Baobab's Room, Adeline's Room

It had only been seven minutes into the class. The techniques of medicine making were complicated but nothing Adeline hadn't seen. The teacher continued jotting notes on her lesson as Baobab articulated the importance of using precise measurements. The door quickly but quietly opened. A woman at least ten years older than Adeline burst through the doorway. Doing her best not to interrupt the class, the woman found Adeline. She had way too much blush on.

"Adeline Roux?" She used a hushed voice. No one but Adeline would be able to make out its sound. The teacher looked up from her notebook and nodded. "There is a mistake on your schedule. You actually have a class right now. I apologize for the inconvenience. If you would follow me." Adeline was numb. She instinctively removed her lab coat and replaced it with her styled jacket. Picking up her bag, she followed her escort. As the two exited, the woman made one last comment, "We are so sorry about this. It is a class dedicated to Movesets. Although, if you want you can just do introductions."

"It is fine. I've got some material to go on," She smiled. The nerves had past. She was more anxious then anything. They reached room 113 in minutes. The hallways seemed much shorter when the students had classes and it wasn't filled. The middle of the door had a plate engraved, "Miss Adeline Lorient Roux". She thanked the lady from the office and took a deep breath. Taking a few moments to gather herself, Adeline entered the room.

Her class were all in their seats. Most of them had gotten the nerves of the first class out and were chatting quite loudly. Clearing her throat, the teacher uttered her first address to the class, "Quiet everyone." It was a stern two words. For the first time she may just be taken seriously. The class went directly to their seats and quieted down.

"I am Adeline Lorient Roux. You will call me Miss Roux at all times," the new teacher introduced herself coldly while she grabbed handfuls of used text books. "You were supposed to have purchased a text book prior to arriving here. Anyone not have one?" Most students reached for their bags while two raised their hands shamefully. "Well, I am glad the majority find my class worth their time," she indirectly scorned the empty handed students.

"You will be returning these to me and purchasing your own, am I right?" Her tone hadn't changed. She placed two copies on the desks of the two students who hadn't done their summer homework. They nodded, avoiding eye contact with their superior. The book was a green and purple paperback that had only three hundred pages. It wasn't intimidating at all.

She listed the names of her students and checked off those who had their books and who didn't. Fifteen students in all.

"Time for business. Now who can tell me... what is the most important thing to consider while battling another trainer?" Adeline questioned her class for the first time. No one answered. "Come on, We don't have all day." There was still silent. Adeline adjusted her jacket and fixed her hair. Finally a boy with dark skin raised his hand. "Yes..." the teacher looked at the attendance seat. "Jermaine right?"

"Yes. Wouldn't what type the pokemon you are battling be the most important thing?" the boy put himself out there but it seemed like a simple question.

"Sorry that is incorrect, Anyone else?" The class was stunned. It had been obvious that they shared the same mindset as Jermaine. Again it was dead silent. "It wasn't a bad answer. However, if you guys want to be top trainers you must challenge yourselves. Now, think about it. What might be just as important as the type of pokemon your are battling?" Their minds began turning. Adeline was enjoying herself. She felt like she was doing a decent job. After a young female trainer in the front row with brown eyes and defined eyebrows seemed to have made a mental conclusion, Adeline continued her lecture.

"It is the moveset and talents of the opponent. Now do not get me wrong. The type is still very important but you must be able to predict what your opponent will do. A species of pokemon, especially one with a large move pool, is often going to surprise you. For example..." the teacher hadn't stopped talking for minutes. She moved to the dry-erase board.

She began writing down three different sets of pokemon attacks. "Let's say you are battling an Alakazam. You have a Sharpedo out. Can someone tell me why, in this situation, having type advantage means very little?" She didn't leave much time for them to answer. "And after you guys solve that.... can I ask someone to point out the roles these Alakazam movesets fill?" She waited for the trainers to catch up.

The three movesets were written in incredibly neat cursive. It was as if a computer had typed it.

1st - Psychic, Signal Beam, Focus Blast, Grass Knot
2nd - Reflect, Light Screen, Encore, Psychic
3rd - Calm Mind, Psychic, Encore, Focus Blast

Adeline had been a lot tougher than she had expected. However, it seemed to be working. She was being taken seriously. Maybe a little too serious...

    Adam Snyder
    Student
    PUTA, Ms. Roux's Room

Ms. Roux was a very strict teacher. It seemed she wanted her students to learn. The first thing he didn't expect her to do was ask for people to take out their textbooks. Then she had said something about summer homework, which Adam had not heard about. The memo probably reached the farm after he left to go to Crown City.

Anyways, Ms. Roux had let him and some other student to borrow textbooks. It was paperback that was about three hundred pages thick. Adam took one look at the book before opening it. He didn't dare look at Ms. Roux though.

Ms. Roux began her class with a question, "Time for business. Now who can tell me... what is the most important thing to consider while battling another trainer?"

A boy named Jermaine had raised his hand and answered, "Yes. Wouldn't what type the Pokemon you are battling be the most important thing?"

"Obvious," Adam noted, "But I don't think that's what she is looking for."

"Sorry that is incorrect, Anyone else?" The words fell out of her mouth so easily and many people in the class seemed stunned. Adam had to admit, he was a bit shocked too.

"It wasn't a bad answer. However, if you guys want to be top trainers you must challenge yourselves. Now, think about it. What might be just as important as the type of Pokemon you are battling?"

Everyone's minds began to turn. Adam had found himself thinking of his Pokemon. He was thinking how Faith and Amy could overcome type advantages or neutral typing. It was then he got the answer, he wasn't sure if he was right, but the answer he had come up with made sense.

He made no move to reply.

Ms. Roux seemed to be enjoying herself and continued the lecture by answering her own question, "It is the moveset and talents of the opponent. Now do not get me wrong. The type is still very important but you must be able to predict what your opponent will do. A species of pokemon, especially one with a large move pool, is often going to surprise you. For example..."

Ms. Roux had trailed off to write on the dry erase board. Her back was too the class, so Adam couldn't tell what she was writing. She finally finished and turned around to reveal three movesets up on the board in incredibly elegant cursive. It looked like it was computer generated.

"Let's say you are battling an Alakazam. You have a Sharpedo out. Can someone tell me why, in this situation, having type advantage means very little?" She paused before continuing, "And after you guys solve that.... can I ask someone to point out the roles these Alakazam movesets fill?"

1st - Psychic, Signal Beam, Focus Blast, Grass Knot
2nd - Reflect, Light Screen, Encore, Psychic
3rd - Calm Mind, Psychic, Encore, Focus Blast

Adam had eliminated the second move set quickly. He knew that Sharpedo was part Dark Type and with a moveset like that it wouldn't do too much damage, however it could raise the team's defense. Adam assumed that she wanted Alakazam to actually knock out Sharpedo, so he was stuck between the third and the first moveset.

Hopefully someone would find the answer.

    Warren Ainsworth
    Teacher Trainer
    Hallway/Warren's Battling Garden

After his little discussion with Tobias Conway, Warren had to hurry off to his classroom, knowing that his students were probably getting restless over his absence, plus what must they thought of the young man? The fact that he was already late for his own class was bad enough but for it to be on their first day. As he hurriedly walked through the hallway, he noticed a couple of students also rushing to their classes and stared onwards, wondering what class they were going to. He walked further, his hand clutching his side bag, containing some of his precious items and pokeballs he coveted.

Pushing the doors wide open, he looked around to see the beauty of the battling ground which seemed to have been divided into four separate battling fields in basic terrain. He looked around, in search of his students and then peered to the side to see them huddled around in one group near the grass. He took a deep breath and walked towards them "Sorry about the delay guys but I got into some stuff but now that's over, i'm here" he said with a slightly stern tone of voice but he did his best to sound a little bit warm but somehow, he couldn't bring himself to do it. He put his hands in his pocket, as a sort of defense. It was fair to say that he was nervous. Nervous of the fact that he hoped that he gave a good impression to these students. He looked at each and every one of them, examining them all, hoping to try and suss out any sort of character trait. "so, how is everyone?"

"Emma. Constrict. Jack, quit messing around and use Psybeam." Clutching the handle of his umbrella, Sawyers eyes rolled as his small Spinda began to aim its attack at the wrong enemy. "No! Not the Armaldo, attack the Persian." Turning, Sawyer brought his free hand up to his face and massaged his golden orbs. "Why did you make me do this?"

The day was dark. Grey clouds covered the entire sky and rain was pouring down, thumping on the roofs of cars. Lost somewhere in between the rural and the modern architecture of Crown City, two bodies made a pit stop along their journey to the Sky Line Cafe for a Pokemon match. They boy, clad in black skin-tight pants, a loose grey v-neck, and a black jacket, was deep in the middle of a double battle. His two pokemon—an Octillery and a Spinda—were fighting head to head against a Persian and an Armaldo. Emma—Sawyers Octillery—was making her way to the tall bug-type, and just when she got her tentacles around it, Jack—the Spinda—"accidentally" fired his Psybeam in her direction. Now confused, the octopus began to entangle herself within her own tentacles, turning into what seemed to be an imitation of a live human brain.

Standing under the young trainers umbrella, a girl stood there, smiling as if she enjoyed watching her new acquaintance fail. "I like Jack. Hes funny." She giggled. Her name was Rose. Contrary to that fact though, she had dyed teal hair, slightly tanned skin, and eyes wide enough to get lost in. She wasn't that tall, with the top of her head reaching just below Sawyers shoulder. "So whats your next move gonna be, Jay?"

"I havnt thought that far yet." He answered. He wasn't sure why she called him by his middle name, but it was nice to be called something other than his actual name. For the past nineteen years, nobody had ever really given Sawyer a nickname; not his mom, his dad, brothers, or anyone. So although he had barely met Rose a few nights ago, he had this bond with her that he had with no one else.

"Persian. Move in for a Slash." The opposing trainer called out.

"Well you better, and soon." She said, winking.

When Sawyer noticed that the Persian had struck Emma, he sent Jack on the prowl. "Jack, use Faint Attack on the Persian." And with a twisted smile, the bipedal panda was off. At first, it seemed as if he was running head-on. And right when the Persian leaned in for another Slash, Jack disappeared. Confused, the cat looked around, trying to see through the thick fog and heavy rain. But before it new it, the Spinda had snuck up from behind and attacked it. The cat cried out in pain as its coat became soaked from landing in a puddle. "Emma. Now would be a good time to snap out of it." He called out to his Octillery who was still wrapped up in itself.

When the opposing trainer saw his Persian in pain, he called for his Armaldo to do "whatever it takes".

    Anger management. Sheesh.

The Armaldo rubbed its claws together, preparing for a Fury Attack on the confused octopus. While the bug-type was charging, Sawyer had commanded Jack to use Psybeam on it. "And this time, attack the right target, please."

What have I got myself into.

Damn, that conversation with Mr Conway had really taken some time...she was running so late for class!! Let's see...Ms Roux...as she walked through the corridors to find her class, she thought about how Mr Conway had both kept her secret and had genuinely helped her out with her studies...she was very grateful. It was more than she expected, especially with regards to her surname seeing as she had lied about it in the first place - she truly thought that as soon as he had read the name Oak on the register he would have pulled her up on it in front of the entire class.

It wasn't as thought she was ashamed of her family - on the contrary, she was ridiculously proud of the line of pokemon experts she was related to. Professor Oak was both a fantastic teacher and a beloved amazing Grandfather at the same time and Gary...well, Gary was just something else completely. She didn't think she could love anyone as much as she loved her brother. But she really felt like after so long walking in Gary's shadow she needed to break free and create her own identity. For as long as she could remember the first question she was asked after her name was if she was related to the famous Professor Oak and so wait, Gary is her BROTHER? People never got to know Ashley. They got to know Grandaughter Ashley or Sister Ashley. Although here the lessons were so intensive...she didn't think she'd get to know anybody.

Deep in thought she almost walked past the classroom door for her lesson. She peered through the glass...the students seemed to be paying rapt attention to a very well-dressed young looking woman, who was teaching the class very intensively by the looks of it. Ashley looked up at the board and saw she had written 3 Alakazam movesets...awh what, they were studying movesets and typology here too? She'd just learnt that...when would she get down to the real battling! She could almost feel Gible, Wingull and Hitmonchan quivering in their pokeballs, desperate for some action.

Almost on autopilot, she turned away from the classroom, her mind screaming at her to turn back around and stick to her timetable but she couldn't sit and read any more today. She wanted to learn the practicals of battling...plus she had just seen movement on the battlegrounds through the large glass window of the corridor. First day...she could easily blame it on getting lost, hopefully the teacher would assume she was part of that class and she could stay. She hopped down the stairs quickly, feeling growing excitement, almost smelling the fresh air that was on the other side of the doors. Throwing the door wide open, Ashley almost ran outside the school to get to the battlefields, releasing Gible as she walked briskly. Gible's little legs trotted to keep up with Ashley's strides until they reached the battlefield and oh no...it was him, the teacher trainer that Mr Conway had been pulled out of class by, Mr Ainsworth was it? Whatever he was called, he looked just as stern as ever...but somewhat nervous with his hands shoved in his pockets.

She walked slowly now, quietly making her way to the edge of the group and smiling slightly as the other students gathered around, hoping to not draw too many questions. Luckily, a lot of the attention appeared to be trained on Gible rather than her, the pooped out little pokemon sinking to the floor.

    Alice Violet Maples
    Student
    PUT Acadamy, Corridor/Battling Graden

Alice Maples was rushing over to Mr. Warren's class at the battle garden. She was late, and she didn't like it. She never liked being late at all. Espetially because it was her first day. She thought it looked like she was being disrespectable, but she never intended to and she hoped people wouldn't take it that way. As she was running from her dorm room to her class, she was checking her tan leather tote bag to see if she got everything. She did, thank goodness. She looked at the bright side of things, maybe she would be on time after all and maybe her clock was wrong, or maybe the people would understand. She didn't believe that first thought five seconds after she thought of it. But on another bright side, she wasn't bumping into anyone. She was sort of getting lost. "How hard can it be to find your way to a garden?" She thought to herself. Alice wasn't the best at directions. Oh well. Maybe she would get lucky and find her way without a lot of trouble. She was thinking of how late she was, and that ust made her run faster. She stopped into one room and asked "Excuse me, sorry to interupt, but do you know where the battle garden is? I'm new here and I'm late for class." The teacher responded with directions. "Thank you." Alice replied. Then Alice ran as fast as she could telling herself where to go.

Alice finally reached outside. "Did it rain?" She thought. Then her attention was on all the beautiful flowers they had planted. She wanted to reach down and smell a rose, but she couldn't because she was already like ten minutes late. Alice saw her class. Mr. Warren, the teacher of the class she was in, was taking count of students and was missing one. Then Alice ran over while shouting "I'm here! Sorry I'm late!" while trying noot to attract too much attention from the students at the same time. They all looked at her. "So sorry! I forgot a few things and spent five minutes looking for them in my dorm." She appologized. She thought she might be in a little trouble for being late for class, but she also thought and hoped that she wouldn't be. She didn't want to make any trouble on her first day. Actually, she didn't want to make any trouble at all. She started running her fingers through her long, curly orange hair. She let her pokemon out her pokeballs. "Go, Bailey and Dean!" The pokeballs opened up and a male Chikorita, which was Bailey, came out with a smile. Then Alice's ditto which she named Dean, came out with a smile as well.

    That's Incentive
    Adeline Roux
    PUT Academy
    Roux's Classroom, Outside Battlefield

Adeline didn't have to wait long, a boy confidentially rose his hand. He had brown hair spiked up into what could be labeled a fohawk. Adeline nodded and he gave his answer, "Sharpedo is weak against fighting type. Focus Blast is a fighting move. However, this is a trick question. Alakazam would not have the same type bonus or STAB. This would still make the favorable pokemon in the battle." Adeline shook her head in disappointment.

"If you guys are to become great trainers you must enable your mind to look past type advantage. If you were aware of the stats of each pokemon it would be clear that Alakazam is naturally a very quick pokemon. He also has a very high special attack. Sharpedo has decent speed but they almost are never as agile as Alakazam. The shark has a weak special defense. This means one focus blast; STAB or not, would ravage him. Understand?" The kids had blank faces. It was pretty obvious she was starting to bore them. "Okay grab your stuff we will head outside," her students were shocked and a buzz went through the room like an aftershock of an earthquake.

Zipping her jacket up she grabbed her stuff. "Oh that is right. These movesets create very different Alakazams. The first and third are similar as he would fill the offensive sweeper role. The first is immediate type coverage as he uses four different types of moves. The third uses a move known as Calm Mind. If used correctly it powers up the pokemon and helps him desecrate your opponents party of pokemon. Finally the second set is used as a support. He offers defense for your party while also forcing your opponent to switch their pokemon." Some of the kids hurried their notes while others discarded the idea. "Your homework will be to write a three page paper on which Alakazam would fit best in your party and why. Then describe why each move is used for each pokemon. Read the first thirty pages of your book and start thinking of each of your pokemon and what moves you will have them learn," Adeline said it like it was nothing. "All of it will be due the next time we meet."

The class were silent, it was their first day they wouldn't complain. They didn't want to anger their very serious teacher. Almost paralyzed as they walked to the outside battlefields the kids followed their mentor. The teacher had them in two orderly lines.

It was still drizzling profusely. Following the map, Adeline was successful in leading her class to the battlefields. There seemed to be another class out in the water as well; Adeline had her class line up on the far boundary line of a vacant field.

Rain blowing in her face she spat out her first sentences since her assignment of homework, "Alright. Studying is great but there is one thing this school cannot exactly give you by putting your noses in books. That is they the spirit of competition. In my class we will set up a battling ladder. Whenever you battle a classmate you will report the result to me. At the end we will combine your test scores with your battling scores and we will determine the top trainer." The news seemed to lift their spirits. "Now... Mr Snyder is it? And Mr. Ross?" The boys stepped to their teacher. The boy with squared glasses and brown eyes looked at his opposite. Zach Ross had bleached blonde hair that ran to his eyes. "I would like you guys to display your most creative movesets in a battle. The winner will receive an automatic A on their next quiz and receive the first seed in our ladder." She was very matter-of-fact. Zach excited, released his pokemon: Zangoose. Adam Snyder would be next.

"When you're ready Zach. Let the battle begin." Most of the kids thought Adeline was insane. The others were excited by her spontaneity. To her it was all incentive for them to succeed.

Len had listened quietly to all of this. He didn't know a lot about battling, other than the obvious, but it was good to know type advantages weren't the only important matter. Stats were important too. He could already tell how his assignment was going to go, picking the first type of Alakazam without too much hesitation. He understood why as well; his team was mostly focused on their own type. Even one Pokemon with multiple moves to turn a situation around and get back on its feet would be a wonderful addition. He also knew that he would have to be very diverse in his team.

However, he knew something else. He knew his Pokemon's feelings on the subject as well and he knew Rico, Lei, and whoever else he chose for his full team in the end would have their own desires on the matter. So he would think all of this over strategically but he would also try to figure out how his team worked mentally and physically. Len knew this was an ordeal, and was still not quite certain why he was in this school. But if his mother insisted, who was he to disobey her will?

As they walked through the rain, Len pulled out his goggles and lowered them over his eyes. Len wished the rain would stop. It was slightly annoying. He quickly closed his book back to keep the papers dry. His Pokemon were quiet now, listening and waiting. Their teacher, surprisingly, didn't terrify him. She made him curious. Now, he was bad with human emotions but even he could tell there was an underlying current of stiff nervousness.

As she explain the grading system, Len merely nodded, filing it in his memory to join the rest of his notes. He didn't quite care about it, but he hoped he would get good grades at least in the research. Len took some pride in that section and his Pokemon would try as well to fight hard. He would do his best to help them. Seeing that boy Zach all raring to go was amusing. Len found it slightly silly. Hiding his laughter, he turned his eyes onto the fight, waiting to see how it would go.

(OOC: Haha.... Forecast... Instant Rain! Ouch...)

    Garen F. Astriam
    Master of Sky Line Cafe
    PUT Academy Entrance/Hallway/Warren's Battling Garden

Garen stopped in front of the entrance way to PUT Academy and ruffled his large raincoat. He took a moment and browsed around the gate for he hadn't been back to the Academy in a long while. Garen swept a rock from under his shoe away from the walkway and began walking on long forgotten steps into the Academy he had attended so long ago while clutching the handles on top of a large cardboard box that had a plastic bag over it to protect it from the rain. Garen leaned over a bit brought his left arm up and checked his silver watch for the time.

"Still early... If I remember... he said the Battling Gardens... Hm..." Garen murmured to himself as he walked towards the front building. Suddenly, a flash came from one of his pokeball on his necklace and what appeared was Garen's elegant Gardevoir, Ester. Ester seemed a bit angry at Garen as she used her psychic power to shield herself from the rain.

'You should had let me out sooner.' Ester telepathically spoke. 'Although I don't like this rain very much, this place really brings back memories...' Garen looked at his pokemon and smiled.

"Yeah... It sure does. Anyways... We should get going. I have a delivery to do." Garen looked at his watch once more. He really wanted to get back as soon as possible because he still doesn't trust his new employee completely with managing the shop even though he has been training her for weeks. Garen and Ester began walking towards the large building in front of them and entered the motion sensored double doors.

After chatting with the front desk's attendant, Garen walked off while waving back before he entered a hallway with Ester following close by. Garen glanced around at his former school's corridors and was impressed how many of the things he saw then were still there with new additions of course. Passing by classrooms upon classrooms, Garen finally came upon another hallway with glass panel windows upon it's sides leading towards the Battle Garden he had remembered. Outside, he could see a male teacher and a group of students off to the side by the grass and another group on the far side.

'So.... Who are you delivering to?' Ester prompt a question before looking at Garen. Garen turned to Ester and pointed towards the male teacher. Ester nodded and followed Garen to the door that led towards the outside at the end of the corridor.

Out in the rain, Garen slowly walked over towards the male teacher and his group of students as to not disturb the class. Garen saw a tree nearby the students and decided to observe the class from there.

'...What happened to getting back as soon as possible and a delivery?' Ester wondered as she tried to comprehend why her master was doing such a thing.

"Eh... I dunno... I just wanted to watch the class for a bit. We still have time." Garen replied and pointed to his watch as he leaned on the large tree. Ester decided to compromise and joined her master. "Let's see how Warren teaches his class." Garen placed his box on top of a flat stone and started to observe his old acquaintance.

During Jacks turn, his Psybeam actually hit his target. But it seemed to have taken almost no damage. The large bug-type pressed on, preparing for a Fury Attack. "Psybeam again, Jack." Sawyer called out. He really had no strategy; it had been at least a month since his last battle. "I knew this was a bad idea." He said, turning to his teal-haired companion.

"Don't worry," She said. "Everybody loses sometimes." She looked up, gazing into Sawyers eyes, as if she were trying to distract him from the attack his Octillery was about to take.

The octopus and spotted bear were no match for the Persian and Armaldo. And with Jacks final Psybeam, Sawyer called off the match. He dug through his bag, grabbed a hold of two empty Pokeballs, and called back his weakened Pokemon. The opposing trainer let out a thunderous laugh, accentuating his cocky attitude. After the two shook hands, he could still hear the trainer laughing half a block down the street. "Well, shall we continue?"

"Okay." Said Rose while she dusted her dress off, trying to remove excess water droplets from the fabric.

"And no more battles along the way?"

"I cant promise you that." She said, giggling.

Even though the two hadnt known each other very long, there was something about them that clicked so well. Their personalities were complimentary to each other, and they both had a love for Pokemon that went deeper than battling. While Rose was more outgoing, her and Sawyer wore the same mask, blocking excessive negative or positive emotions. They were stagnant, and only when something they truly cared about came around, would they remove their mask.

The day was still gray. Upon inspecting Crown Citys downtown, it appeared that the rain had washed out all of the color—at least for the day. The pair continued on, passing by a large facility where children and teenagers had gathered outside, watching what seemed to be a Zangoose. A beautiful thin-framed woman seemed to be instructing the class. Adjusting his umbrella, Reminded of his own battle that had taken place earlier that day, Sawyer walked past the campus, paying it no mind. And within a few minutes, the two reached their destination: the Sky Line Café.

    Age: 13
    Gender: Male
    Type: Student
Sevii Islands, Kanto (No specific home)
    Skin Color: Caucasian

    Appearance:
Velo is a teenager who you can describe pretty much as normal. He has brown hair, hazel eyes, and he is taller than he should be at his age. He normally tries to keep his hair long, that's how he likes his hair.

    Personality:
Velo doesn't have much experience with new people, given the fact he never grew up in a neighborhood with a bunch of people he knew. He always prefers to be alone, rather than to be with others. Unless they are his really close friends. When Velo was 7, he had a bunch of friends, until they started acting different than the past. They were pushier, meaner, and people you wouldn't want to hang out with. Velo only had a few friends left that stayed the same. Since then, he has been lonely and stays away from new people.

    History:
When Velo was little, he was very open to a lot of people. He tried to make friends with the people he met at his schools. Eventually he went to elementary school and met new friends. When he was in the third grade, it seemed like the friends he made two years ago changed. That's when Velo changed how he saw the world. He never really liked being with others, but he started to definitely not like being with others.

One day, when Velo was coming home from school, he heard strange noises coming from a bush. He saw a bunch of Pokemon crowded around a little black fox. Velo cared for the strange black fox, nursing it back to health. Later, he learned the black fox was named Zorua, and that it could create illusions. The Zorua followed him home, then when Velo got to the doorstep, he saw that Zorua was replaced by a boy with blue hair, and wouldn't talk. He knew that Zorua was playing with him, so, he walked into his house, saying he made a new friend. Velo called the little Zorua, Llusion, because of it's ability to create illusions. Velo prefers attacking and restoring health than raising defense

    Pokemon:
    No Picture....Yet...
    Species: Zorua
    Nickname: Llusion
Personality: Is usually quiet and loves to help out when it can.
    Level: 14
Moveset: Quick Attack, Embargo, Shadow Ball

That sucks. I was planning on joining this Role-Play. Also, in VelocityQ's defence, the beginning of this thread says:

This is the Sign Up & Roleplaying Thread of The Pokemon Ultimate Trainers Academy RP.
This is where the players involved plot, sign up, discuss and delve into the world of
the storyline. Here is where you also post your comment, questions and suggestions,
so feel free to do so. The more input, the better. XD

I hope someone else starts a new pokemon school RP soon.. ><
I don't know why but even though I don't like going to real school, I do love fictional ones. Even if they don't really have fiction.

    Adam Snyder
    Student
PUTA, Ms. Roux's Class, Outside Battle Field

The rain was pelting on the earth bellow. Adam was shivering and let out a small sneeze. He was beginning to think that Ms. Roux was just the tiniest bit insane. He guessed it was his fault for sporting a t-shirt. At least the beanie was somewhat a shield for his hair.

She had led the class to the school's battle garden. It was pretty much just a battle field stuck in the middle of a grassy field adorned with sets of benches and just a single tree that rose above the greenery. The students were forced to stand around or even sit on the benches provided. However, there were people crazy enough to sit on the wet grassy field.

Adam wasn't one of those crazy people, what people may seem to believe. He was one of the students who were standing in the rain and sneezing.

"Alright. Studying is great but there is one thing this school cannot exactly give you by putting your noses in books. That is they the spirit of competition. In my class we will set up a battling ladder. Whenever you battle a classmate you will report the result to me. At the end we will combine your test scores with your battling scores and we will determine the top trainer." Ms. Roux spat, "Now... Mr. Snyder is it? And Mr. Ross?"

His surname had caught Adam's attention. He had stepped forth and looked at the other boy that was called. Mr. Ross was a long blond haired man. His eyes were blue and he smiled brightly as he heard his name called. It seemed like he was going to say something, probably tell Ms. Roux his first name, but held it back. Adam had decided he was just going to refer to him as Ross.

"I would like you guys to display your most creative movesets in a battle. The winner will receive an automatic A on their next quiz and receive the first seed in our ladder."

Ross had seemed excited and ran to one of the sides of the battle field. He grabbed a pokeball from his belt and threw it in the air. In a flash of white light his partner, Zangoose, had appeared. The mongoose was standing on his two hind legs; he was looking at his black claws. The rain was dampening his mostly white fur and the red fur that was on him was darkening because of the rain.

Adam had sighed and walked to the other end. He was deeply contemplating which Pokemon of his he would use. He was seriously considering using Faith, but after looking at that Zangoose and thinking about Faith's moveset he wasn't going to let her out. All Faith would do was use Agility, Confusion, and Stomp. Shadow Ball was out of the question because of its ghost type properties and he knew that it wouldn't work on Zangoose.

Adam had grabbed a pokeball from his belt and whispered to it lightly. In a few seconds, Amy, his Beautifly partner, was revealed in a shower of white sparkles and lights. Amy began to circle her trainer happily. She was glad that she was released from her captivity inside her poke'ball.

Amy's wings would usually shine and people would most likely admire her wings. However, her wings were dampening. The colors painted on her black wings looked as if they were smudging. She didn't seem to mind it too much, but Adam knew that Amy had a small dislike for the rain.

When Ross, saw Amy though, he had a smug smile on his face, but it didn't take a genius to figure out what was on his mind if one looked at his Zangoose. The Zangoose had a smile on his face that mirrored his trainer's. He looked like he was about to laugh out loud because of a joke.

"Quick Attack!" Ross began. His Zangoose had gotten on all fours and began to race of in a zig zag pattern with a white trail of light coming from behind. Before Adam could respond with a command however, Zangoos tripped and fell on his face.

"Amy, this is your chance, Air Cutter!" Adam reacted. Amy began to flap her wings, releasing blue "S" 's. The blades were slicing the skin of the mongoose and soon the winds picked up sending Zangoose flying through the air.

"Tackle!" Adam commanded. Amy began her decent, but for some reason it looked like she was moving in slow motion. She completely missed her target as Zangoose had hit the muddy battlefield and rolled backwards. Adam began to wonder why Amy seemed to slow down before an answer began to click in his mind.

    "The rain," Adam mentally concluded.

Ross seemed to get the same conclusion and decided to switch his tactics, "Sword Dance and then head right into Scratch!"

Zangoose picked himself back up on his feet and began to raise one of his front paws. The mongoose's pronged claw began to glow before breaking into a mad dash. Before Adam could react, Zangoose was already in front of Amy and brought one of his claws down on her. She cried in pain as she hit the ground.

    "Brick Break!"

    "Psychic!"

Zangoose brought his hand up to land the finishing blow, but stopped. Amy's eyes were flaring with a blue light. Concentrating her mental energy into her eyes she managed to stop Zangoose's assault before he could hit her. Adam began to relax a little before calling out the next set of Amy's orders.

"Amy use Absorb and then finish it by sending Zangoose face first into the ground," Adam requested.

The Beautifly managed to pick herself back up from the ground before she began to circle Ross's Zangoose. A light green ring formed around Zangoose and soon light pillars began to shoot him, taking away as much hit points from the mongoose the attack could. Amy, meanwhile, began to consume the energy, in the form of little green bubble released from the ring, with her proboscis.

The green ring soon began to fade and that was when Amy made her move. With no need to move a great deal, with just a twitch, Zangoose was lifted high into the air. Ross's Zangoose began to struggle, while Ross himself was looking a bit worried. He was trying to think of ways to turn the battle around, but it was already too late. With a twitch of her wing, Zangoose was sent flying into the ground.

Zangoose didn't manage to get up…

Len smiled to himself. That beautifly had been very good in the rain. However, that Ross boy and his Zangoose had gotten overconfident because of the opponent's looks. In the end that had cost them the battle. The rain had slowed both of them down, making speedy attacks useless. It would be bad for Lei but Rico would survive. He usually did well in these sorts of places, probably from being a mountain Pokemon.

As if sensing he was being spoken about, Rico's Pokemon started shaking again. Could he fight yet? Could he? He was bored! The boy smiled again. Not yet, he tried to convey by placing his hand on the sphere. His Riolu seemed to understand, reluctantly calming down.

Len looked around, wondering if he could find a tree to take shelter under to play for a while. He had never played his flute out in the rain before. He was curious about the sound now. Lei seemed to smack her ball against his leg. Len chuckled inaudibly. He wasn't going to leave class now. He shook rain from his hair, wondering what the teacher was going to say next.
