Pokemon. Why?

It started out like this: I was 5 at the time, with a cousin who was changing the channels, and when he clicked on Cartoon Network, Pokemon was on; we watched, and we enjoyed it.

It all started with the anime, but it soon moved on to the games, which, is a story of It's own.

Yep, nothing spectacular.
 
Was it really worth buying the games, though?
 
Well i got a card from burger king (it was a shiny shinx now my trusted partner...in the games...lol XD)

I thought hey I remember pokemon ( used to watch it years ago) so i thought what the heck I'll see what i liked about it and....I still liked it :)
 
My cousin had either Pokemon Blue or Pokemon Yellow I watched him and became interested then in 2000 or 2001 for christmas I got a GBA and Pokemon Silver then you can guess the rest.
 
Mah I have started looking at the cardboard, then I are bought me a bunch of TCG Pokémon basic set, after I are passed to the videogames, I have played to Pokémon Blu, then Gold, Sapphire, Fire Red and finally Pearl, while I had been passing since third one to the fourth generation Pokémon I have become a battler applications graces as Netbattle.
 
(I feel young compared to you guys--I was a baby when Pokemon came to the states)
I was... seven, maybe? I was watching Cartoon Network, when Pokemon (something I had decided I didn't like without giving it a chance) came up. I was going to change the channel, but...

I loved it. It all snowballed from there. I found a Gold version on the ground somewhere, and begged my parents to get Crystal for me. Sadly, though, I had missed out on R/B/Y. I wish I had been old enough to experience it then, because that would've been awesome. But yeah. Thank goodness for Cartoon Network.
 
I first like Pokemon back in like the 2nd 3rd grade when i watched the Johto Region back in 2000. I'm 16 so yeah I'm right correct me if I'm wrong. But yeah then i got the games and cards when I started watching it everyday and became in love with pokemon
 
How did my Pokemon life begin? It started one day when I borrowed Pokemon Yellow from my freind. I've loved Pokemon ever since.
 
Its weird that practically all the people like Ash over Team Rocket/Galactic, but the evil teams are weird and annoying
 
I've been watching the anime for years. In second grade, I watched it every night.
THen I started borrowing my brothers Pokemon Blue game. Then I finally bought my own pokemon game: Sapphire. Been hooked ever since.
 
The Trading Card Game was what initially got me into Pokemon. People were passing them around in school and I ended up getting one from a friend. I eventually learned of the TV series, soon after and watched it through to the conclusion of the Indigo Plateau, but soon lost interest, since I'd taken more interest in the Pokemon games for the GameBoy. (by then, the GBC was out, though)

I've remained with the franchise ever since in the form of the games, rather than anything else. The Trading Card Game was dropped about a year or two after I dropped the TV show, but the hand held games kept their appeal.
 
i was at a friends house in North Carolina and he asked me what a combusken was.
my reply: i know what a combustion engine is. thus my journey to pokemon began! lol
 
I first got into it when I got my fist pokemon game, pokemon Silver for my 5th birthday. Then, I started watching the show, and have been a poke'freak ever since! ^^ And my parents have regretted bying me the game ever since!^^
 
Well, i saw the anime when I was 6, but didn't know thwere were games. In 3rd grade (i think) i heard my friends saying "pokemon ruby, pokemon fire red..." Then I asked what were, searched on google because I thought they were interesting (since i remebered about pokemon when I was a kid). I bought Pokemon Ruby, and fire red, then emerald was released and i bought it too. I don't like the anime that much, i liked the episodes form Kanto and Johto. I play games and hacks..
 
How I got intrested in pokemon? I have no idea. At all. Really, as long as I can remember (and as long as I can remember was when I was 4 years old) I was a pokemon fan.
 
In my country, a few days before pokemon started we had a commercial about it.
So i waited for the first episode, and sience then... im watching...
 
When I was a little kid, I first watched the show and I really like it and then I pretend that pokemon where real, and then when my aunt came by surprise and bought me this pokemon game I enjoyed it so much, pokemon Red/Blue was so enjoyable, and my classmates had this pokemon trading card game and got me really into pokemon and then I started to like pokemon from that.
