I don't know if people will understand what I'm talking about when I post this topic, but anyway... XD

Is there a Pokemon from the first/second generation that you always wished you used as part of your party but still never have, in any game?

I'm big on fast Pokemon, electric and flying types, so I'd think I'd have used Voltorb or Doduo by now, but I haven't. I think it's because they show up too late in the game and I already have my team by then...

I also always wanted to use Misdreavus in D/P/Pt, but when I finally got Platinum you couldn't catch a Misdreavus in it. D:

    Yeah...
    Pidgeot.
It's the most common Flying type in Kanto/Johto based games, and I've never, ever used one. Ever. I don't generally use flying types- I only ever really used a Staraptor- in the other hands, I'd catch a low level one then box it and teach it Fly later. I want to use a Pidgeot in Hg, though.

Lickitung. I always want to try one out, but I never have for some reason. Probably because they come later in the game (for my Pokemon League team) and aren't very powerful (for competitive battling).

I never really trained a wurmple to a beautifly, but I did had a dustox once on a team, but not beautifly.

Gonna move to General Gaming since it applies to all of them.

Anyway, I've wanted to use these in-game:

    Delibird
    Ledian
    Slowking
    Kingdra
    Weezing
    Chimecho
    Golem

I've either never used them or just used what evolves into them. In Silver, I used a Graveler, but couldn't trade for Golem, so...yeah. No Golem for me. But I've actually used most Pokemon for an in-game run. I don't know whether that's sad or not...cause it just shows how much I play the games. xD

I never used a Girafarig until a few days ago. I don't know why I always avoided them, they're not bad looking and pretty strong. My Girafarig quickly became one of the strongest Pokemon in my party. I think I'm going to use one in all my games from now on, he really proved his worth to me.
I've also never used a Mareep and I really don't know why. I would definetely use one now if I had the chance. Ampharos is pretty cool and I would train one in a heart beat if I had the chance. I plan to catch one in the beginning of Heart Gold and use it through the game as my starter.

Venoat and Venomoth, I actually was using one of Crystal a few days ago, and I love it.

    Starmie.Nidoqueen.Nidoking.Shiftry.Tyranitar.

I've never used Starmie coz it's always found wayyy too late in-game. The Nidos are poison, and really tough to raise, so i cba.Shiftry, well, i nearly used it, but when Nuzleaf reached lv.50 and hadn't evolved, i gave up.

And Tyranitar??I suppose it's coz i only find it in leafgreen after the pokemon league, and larvitar ar hard to find. But, i'm raising one now.

Starmie. It has always been one of my favourite Pokemon, yet I have never actually used one. Even though I'm at the end of the Ultimate Monotype Challenge, going through all four generations using only water types, I haven't used Starmie at all.

I have to admit that I've never used a Kingdra before. It was always Tyranitar or Lugia that I haven't really noticed Kingdra unless if I see it's name in the Pokedex.

I can't believe I never used Crobat until Platinum! It's now the powerful thing on my team, I seriously can't understand why I always avoided them. I mean there's plenty, no, friggin millions of Zubats around early on, although maybe that's why?

    Hm... if I used Pearl to breed myself a team of late-in-the-game Pokemon that I've never used, and transfer it to a new file of Diamond as soon as I can... I think Starmie and Electrode would be good, but what else? A lot of people have said Girafarig too... o.o;

Froslass, Gligar, Hippowdon, Lucario, Absol. I just never get around to using these guys and they are all available in Platinum. Maybe they could be my new team.

Hmm.. I think I'd like to use a Nidoking and Nidoqueen.

They're not that strong, but I really like their designs. They're pretty neat.

I always liked them. They had kind of a "Pokemon Swiss army knife/duct tape" feel to me, especially because I always gave them a weird variation of moves. Like, "crap, I don't know how to fix this situation, I'll throw my Nidoking out there..."

I like Venomoth, love it in fact, but I've never used it. I'll get it ASAP
