Okay... it looks like Avegaille's going to be scanning in volume 22 (along with volume 20) within the next couple of months... and I already had the translations of chapter 260 and 262 done. Ugh. I should've gone directly to volume 25, shouldn't I have? Man... sorry, pigeon-wing, that you had to clean those scans for nothing. XD

Okay, first things first. Here's how we are on the volume 25 project:

@ladygalaxy: Yeah, that would be awesome. Just some text samples of Carr's dialogue would be very helpful, don't need to scan it. =D

Also, I haven't checked, but did you include the intros/character descriptions? We don't really need to scanslate those, but it might be nice. =)

OMG this is all getting so exciting...!!

@ benji: I'm scanning in the character intros, yes....though all the main ones have already been done in volumes 23 and 24 D: Do you want me to scan in the story intros (at the very very beginning, summarizing all the previous RBY/GSC/RS arcs) too? I don't mind, I just figured you wouldn't be bothered to translate those xD). Btw thanks for the summary, it's v.helpful to keep track of the progress.

Okay, here are some samples of Carr's speech:

"Nay nay!" -- When Carr's doing that 'tongue-out, pulling eye down' mocking face...um LOL sorry I don't know the english equivalent. You know, like the Japanese version of 'blowing a raspberry'? =P

When he gets excited, he drags out his vowels a lot, like "That's Riiiiiiiiiiiiight!" or "Ooookay!!!"

Actually Kimberly (2 island grandma) and Orm (big thuggish TR beast) have more distinct accents...both speaking like "Ya know what I'm thinkin' about, dontcha?" Okay sorry I am terrible at explaining...o.o

@kazukiPP: The cleaned scans are AWESOME! You even managed to cover that ENORMOUS gutter shadow on the pages where Mewtwo's escaping in ch.288! waaaiiii ^.^

So any confirmation on who's typesetting yet? I don't want to go ahead with the 1st chapter to find out someone else has been working on it at the same time or something haha.

Omg this is actually getting underway...I REALLY want to scan in 23 and 24 too, coz it'll be weird for people to read 25 without the first 2 of the arc, but I have a feeling school will screw me over...argh!

Dang... So I worked on chapters 4 and 5 for volume 12 for nothing? ;A;

Ah, well... if you need me, I'll still be here. ^^ I'm working on typesetting for the Japanese scans for Disgaea 2 volume 1 as a side project, so I might be a little busy in between. xD
 
Why request?? Just download them. They are allready on this forum if you don't mind doing a simple search.

I see. I only pay attention to this thread due it being the reason I joined in the first place. D: Everything else that goes on around these forums fly right by me. Ah well~

At least I'm still sane... :D
