WinRAR is shareware, I believe -- however, it is evil along with HP and Microsoft, so, like airconditioning suggested, a better alternative would be to download 7zip. It takes care of all archive formats, so you won't need WinZip anymore, either. If you still can't open .rar files, all of the mirror files I'm uploading have been re-zipped if they were .rars. ^^

We do have a website where we post our own scanslations; however, we don't have the full english volume scans posted (as they are not our own work). The (simple) link is https://pokespe.tk/.
 
Just thought you guys would like an update since it's been a week. My friend got a new scanner Monday to put in his own room, but he wasn't able to hook it up till now, and he's already started on volume 14. I think he'll finish this weekend - he says it takes a tad longer but it's slightly higher quality and gets rid of the slight blurriness was that was in the middle in volumes 12 and 13.

I will hopefully be getting my new scanner this weekend (I saw a pretty good bargain price the other day) so hang in there! Regarding the RAWS-- okay, here's what I'm going to do. Since I (and most people here, I think) are more familiar with the FRLG arcs, I'd like to release the SCANLATIONS of these. Since you have the volumes yourself, I guess I'd be sending the RAWs to one of the editors (yes I'm giving up that foolish ambition now D:). If you or they are willing to host these for the community, that's fine, but I had no plans of doing it myself.

However, I will post all the RAWS of the emerald chapters in volume 26 (since half of it is FRLG anyway). I do not expect these to be scanslated (though of course you're free to do as you wish). This is coz, aside from the fact I simply am not as interested in the emerald arc as the FRLG one, I have my uni entrance exams/apps coming up VERY soon and know that after I finish scanning volumes 25 and 26 I simply will not have time to do 27, at least, for a good long while. It's like 90% likely I'll never manage to get around to scanning 27+ (for one thing, I don't have anything beyond 27 now and I'm not going to Korea/Japan anytime soon) so it'll be like getting RAWs of the first 5 chappies of an arc and nothing else (unless someone else contributes to it). Personally I'd rather just stick with having nothing then get stuck midway through not being able to finish (and in RAW version too), but that's just me.

I know I said I'd do the page editing before but...given my hectic shedule coming up I think I was being a bit unrealistic. If there are still editors around to do cleaning etc., that would be great. However, I don't mind doing a few chapters of typesetting or QC-ing-- they won't take as long and since the FRLG arc is the one I'm most eager to read, I would like to be involved in the scanslations process somehow, if that's okay.
 
LG, put the RAWs first. I don't like it when scanslators don't give RAWs and they wait till the whole chapter/volume is scanslated. It's pretty annoying because they takes them long weeks or even months.

Post RAWs before final Scanslation, it's always better and makes people more prone.

Look, I've never seen the FR/LG chapters of Volume 26. That's why I want to see them in RAWs because it's faster and official (without fanedition). Volume 25 in RAWs would be nice, too because the one I have has small size (it just doesn't satisfy me).

That's my opinion.

I offer me to clean volume 25 RAWS, so PM me when finish scanning a few chapters ^^. I wanna see this volume too, wiiiiiii!!
 
ladygalaxy~ By scanning, you are already a miracle worker, it's totally cool if you're too busy. Thanks again!! Good luck with uni; that stuff is a pain in the butt. Concerning the RAWs, what resolution are you scanning? 2-300 or higher is preferred, but if that's impossible, it's totally cool.

kazukiPP, you do great editing work, you're on ^^. Can you release cleaned scans one chapter at a time to expedite the process? Also, I would like to typeset, but give a shout if you have time issues, in which case I can clean as well.
 
Ok, I will when Lady Galaxy send me some chapters to clean ^^
 
@minakichan and ladygalaxy: Alright, since you guys are already getting prepared to start on volume 25, I'm starting translation of chapter 288 (first chapter of 25) while I finish up chapter 260. I'll post 260 when I finish, so whoever is typesetting will have two chapters to do. If we end up continuing the volume 22 project, I'll continue doing the other chapters. (Chakura/Carr's accent is cute, but I'll have to figure out a way to translate that. ^^')

@starlatias: Great! Thanks! I'll guess that you won't have the time to scan your entire volume, but I did find volume 28 on the internet (if anybody wants to buy it and scan it for us). =D

@nightwizard: Looks like we'll be seeing volume 14 sometime this week! Please thank your friend for me. XD;

He actually put this up late saturday night but I forgot till now. One error I've noticed is that 14-049 should really be between 14-041 and 14-042 so you may want to fix that - would've done it myself but I didn't noticed till uploading was already at like 90%. I haven't finished yet though so there may be more...

again remove space between c and o in com
 
When do you think the last part of 14 will be done Nightwizard dude?
 
That IS all of 14. The last chapter of the G/S/C arc was put into volume 15 for some reason.

Also, I think that they put the last chapter in volume 15 to help sell it.

Aaaaurgh! Okay, great big headache, my DSL went out for the past few days (it was NOT fun), so I couldn't reupload volume 14. I'm still on dial-up (AT&T is evil now along with all the others), since they still haven't bothered to fix our connection. It takes 5 minutes just to log on to PokeCommunity, so I don't want to try uploading a 78MB file on a connection with upload speeds around 10kbps. T-T
