Where are you from and how old are you?
    MA, USA, 20

Do you have any religious beliefs, and what are they?
I think everything is connected. more spiritually so than religious I guess?

Are you for the decriminalisation of weed?
yes and im positive it will happen in my time

    Are you pro-choice?
    yes

How do you feel about taxes and how they're collected/spent? (will depend on where you live)
its annoying but serves for many good purposes although im sure a good chunk is taken towards people/services that have ulterior motives/looking for their own gain.

Socialism, capitalism or communism? (if you had to pick one, and a brief explanation of why would be appreciated to)
    no comment

How do you feel about gay marriage and the LGBTQ community in general?
I support 100% That means of transexuals too which I've found out are not well accepted by everyone in the gay community.

What is your view on the death penalty?
keep it/make it legal, speed up the death row process

What is your view on euthanasia?
should be legal in most cases. I only get iffy when it comes to people with depression who wish to use it to end their lives. I would hope there would be a process where they could receive help and try to overcome their depression rather than end it on the spot.

Would you describe yourself as tolerant of other people's views?
For the most part yes, I only find myself getting increasing annoyed/mad when they're completely backwards.

And finally, is it more important to rehabilitate criminals or punish them?
rehabilitate... but i think there are some people who are past a certain point.

Where are you from and how old are you?
I live in Missouri and I am 21.

Do you have any religious beliefs, and what are they?
Grew up Christian, now I don't believe in any religion.

Are you for the decriminalisation of weed?
I don't see anything wrong with it, it's not worst than alcohol, at least if it's legalized it'll take a pretty good chunk of revenue away from those who sell it illegally. Eventually it'll just follow the route of the tobacco industry and tax the crap out of the product.

    Are you pro-choice?
In the case of rape, yes. Anything other than rape, no. Live with your own choices. I understand if this was to happen, it would be abused though.

How do you feel about taxes and how they're collected/spent?
I have no problem in the way the state of Missouri is handling it's taxes, federal is a different story.

How do you feel about gay marriage and the LGBTQ community in general?
It's their life let them do what they want to do.

What is your view on the death penalty?
Yes, but needs 100% solid evidence before sentenced to death. If there's any "what if's" then nope.

What is your view on euthanasia?
    When necessary.

Would you describe yourself as tolerant of other people's views?
I can be stubborn with my views, but I'll come around to people's views once I cool down and actually think about it.

And finally, is it more important to rehabilitate criminals or punish them?
    Varies case to case.

Do you have any religious beliefs, and what are they?
    No religious beliefs (Atheist)
Are you for the decriminalisation of weed?
Yes, although I would want it to have restrictions similar to the sale of cigarettes; i.e list of potential health problems on packets, banned from public places etc. I really dislike the smell of weed and would never want to smoke it myself, but in decriminalising it I do see the advantage of removing revenue from criminals
    Are you pro-choice?
Yes. We're becomming an overpopulated planet as it is, the last thing we need is to force people to have children they don't want.
How do you feel about gay marriage and the LGBTQ community in general?
I have yet to hear a convincing argument against gay marriage that doesn't boil down to personal distaste or the invoking of religious scripture. I'm all in favour of it.
What is your view on the death penalty?
It's ineffective as a deterrent and costs far more than imprisonment. Not to mention there is a horrific risk of executing someone who is innocent. Ain't worth it.
What is your view on euthanasia?
I support it, though there should certainly be heavy restrictions.
Would you describe yourself as tolerant of other people's views?
I'd like to think so. As long as those views aren't outright harmful I can usually appreciate why their views may differ to mine.
And finally, is it more important to rehabilitate criminals or punish them?
Depends on the nature of the crime. Some of the worst criminals just need to be kept from society, but generally rehabilitation is best. Punishment tends to lead to hardened criminals who are then even worse when they finish their sentence. Rehabilitation gives the chance to be able to fit in with society once they are released.

How do you feel about taxes and how they're collected/spent? (will depend on where you live) imo often spent irresponsibly. i dont like taxes but they obviously have to be collected. i support a proportional system of taxation
Socialism, capitalism or communism? (if you had to pick one, and a brief explanation of why would be appreciated to ) capitalism. best for competition / innovation
How do you feel about gay marriage and the LGBTQ community in general? completely support
What is your view on the death penalty? honestly have mixed feelings. not sure where i stand
What is your view on euthanasia? support

I'm doing this because I enjoy force-feeding my views to people... not quite but close enough xD

Where are you from and how old are you? Australia, 18
Do you have any religious beliefs, and what are they? Agnostic-theist
Basically my religious beliefs are based on a few key things
    1. I believe in a higher power, I use the term God
    2. I believe in an after-life
    3. We will never be able to comprehend the desires or wishes of said higher power and more than an ant comprehends us, so we should stop using God as an excuse to perpetuate our own beliefs and values.
    4. We will never understand how the universe came into being
    5. I believe these things, I believe I am right. I also recognise beliefs can be wrong.

Are you for the decriminalisation of weed? If tobacco and alcohol which are honestly far more harmful are legal I think weed should be too. It at least comes with potential health benefits as well as the potential risk. Plus it could be taxed for govenment revenue allowing for other taxes to be lowered. I draw the line here though. I'll never do drugs and harder stuff should stay as illegal as it is now.

Are you pro-choice? Under certain circumstances yes. Otherwise I think it is wrong for us to decide the fate of another being before it is even born. Don't kill something because you weren't prepared for the risk.

How do you feel about taxes and how they're collected/spent? (will depend on where you live) Our taxes are ridiculous. They affect those who actually have money far less than those who are poor and all that money ripped from the hands of the poor is then used not on something useful like education or hospitals but on fixing roads that are in near-perfect condition and building more attractive buildings for government organisations.

Socialism, capitalism or communism? (if you had to pick one, and a brief explanation of why would be appreciated to) Democratic socialism is probably the way to go, but I think it is important to allow people a lot of the freedom that comes with capitalism too. My ethics say socialism, my personality says capitalism.

How do you feel about gay marriage and the LGBTQ community in general? If you're LGBTQ (there's a Q now?) I honestly do not care in the slightest. Sexual orientation or gender identity is irrelevant to me, I'm more interested in the person. As far as gay marriage goes, I don't care about the title but the same rights and privileges that are given by marriage should also apply to civil unions etc. that should be readily available for gay couples.

What is your view on the death penalty? I have two issues here
    1. Bar kill or be killed situations, no human should ever consider themselves important enough to determine whether or not another person lives or dies.
    2. If you convict the wrong person and then kill them, that's something of a problem.

What is your view on euthanasia? I'm against suicide, it's cowardly and hurts everyone around you. Euthanasia though is trickier... I'm really not sure.

Would you describe yourself as tolerant of other people's views? Unless your views are cruel or oppressive, I'll tolerate them.

And finally, is it more important to rehabilitate criminals or punish them?
    Most crimes = rehabilitation
Serious crimes and repeat offenders = punishment

Where are you from and how old are you?
I'm from Kentucky, in the united states of america. As of now I'm 14

Do you have any religious beliefs, and what are they?
I'm a Christian. More specifically Church of God.

Are you for the decriminalisation of weed?
Depends on the way that it's used. Medical purposes are fine in my eyes, but that's all.

    Are you pro-choice?
No. I don't believe that you should decide the fate of another being. Typically it's a result of your own actions and if you weren't prepared for the consequence of you own actions then it's your own fault. But, sadly, atrocities such as rape do happen. In these situations there are better alternatives such as adoption.

How do you feel about taxes and how they're collected/spent? (will depend on where you live)
    Indifferent really.

Socialism, capitalism or communism? (if you had to pick one, and a brief explanation of why would be appreciated to
    Politics and Religion Survey
    )
I'm not very knowledgeable of these. But based off what I know I would pick Socialism.

How do you feel about gay marriage and the LGBTQ community in general?
I'm not in favor of Homosexuality, but I think that people should be allowed to live as they wish so long as it is within the realm of legality. While I don't discriminant against Homosexuals I do not agree with Homosexuality. They don't have much input on their sexual orientation so it wouldn't be fare to be discriminate against them.

What is your view on the death penalty?
I believe that the punishment should be equal to the crime. But that doesn't necessarily mean I'm in favor of the death penalty. I think that it should only be applied when the person will only do more harm when left alive.

What is your view on euthanasia?
Only at the point where life isn't worth living, and that recovery is impossible. But I'm strongly against suicide.

Would you describe yourself as tolerant of other people's views?
Very. I fully respect others and their views. All I ask is that you respect mine.

And finally, is it more important to rehabilitate criminals or punish them?
I'm most situations I think that it should be rehabilitation. But in more serious situations and with repeated offenses they should be punished.

Where are you from and how old are you? I'm from australia and I'm 6 years old (refer to battle server)
Do you have any religious beliefs, and what are they? As a child I had christianity shoved down my throat by my primary school. I'm an athiest.
Are you for the decriminalisation of weed? Hells yeah, its a victimless crime and the amount of money the DEA and Governments use on trying to hide the truth is amazing.
Are you pro-choice? If this is abortion than no, the child should not be killed. If the mother is unfit or doesn't want the baby then theres always adoption. You're ending another persons life, they could've been {insert something great here}.
How do you feel about taxes and how they're collected/spent? (will depend on where you live) It's a literal joke where I live, the roads get half done, when theirs a car accident they hold every body up for the next 7 hours and the next 80 kilometers (exaggeration)
Socialism, capitalism or communism? Communism or Socialism
How do you feel about gay marriage and the LGBTQ community in general? I'm all for them but I don't agree with events like the marti gras which is basically endorsing being gay, imagine if we had a mardi gras specifically meant for straight people...
What is your view on the death penalty? No one deserves to die
What is your view on euthanasia? I agree that if a person has no way of recovery and that they are only being kept alive for the well being of that persons family that they should be let to die naturally. I understand this contradicts the above statement but if someones going to die and theres no way of avoiding it, and they are in a position like a coma or something they probably don't want to sit their everyday so their family can feel comfortable whilst they are only left to their own devices.
Would you describe yourself as tolerant of other people's views? As long as you are of mine.
And finally, is it more important to rehabilitate criminals or punish them? Man this is a hard one, theres no way to rehabilitate a serial killer. However there's also no need to rehabilitate a person who killed someone by accident (manslaughter) unless they are having difficulties coping with the fact they killed someone.

Do you have any religious beliefs, and what are they? Nope. I either have no religion, or I'm simply considered as agnostic.
Are you for the decriminalisation of weed? I think it would be fine, as long as it's moderated. I feel like it would work if we can keep it well-mainted the same way we do other pain killers and other moderated medications.
Are you pro-choice? You mean like abortion? If so, then it depends. Like... if a teenager got raped by someone, it would be okay. It's very understandable if the teen couldn't keep the baby. However, I don't think the person should wait until it's too late and the fetus has grown into a baby. That's killing a life right there.
How do you feel about taxes and how they're collected/spent? I don't know. My parents don't do their taxes, so I have no opinion on this.
Socialism, capitalism or communism? I have really no idea. Politics literally go right over my head.
How do you feel about gay marriage and the LGBTQ community in general? I don't mind it at all. They are human beings just like the rest of us.
What is your view on the death penalty? Eh... I don't want to give an opinion on this.
What is your view on euthanasia? Uhhhh... no idea what that is. O_o
Would you describe yourself as tolerant of other people's views? It depends. So long as they don't force their beliefs onto me, then I'm fine with what they are.
And finally, is it more important to rehabilitate criminals or punish them? It depends on what they did for starters. That's all I can really say.

Huzzah, now a new generation of PC members can get to know my weird political ideas! :P

Where are you from and how old are you?
I'm Houston, TX born and raised and I'm currently 27-years-old

Do you have any religious beliefs, and what are they?
I was raised as a Roman Catholic, but nowadays, I tend to say I'm more of a Pandeist steeped in Catholic culture. I believe God is one with the universe itself and doesn't meddle in our Human affairs due to being preoccupied maintaining a grand cosmic balance.

Are you for the decriminalization of weed?
I haven't smoked the stuff in ages, but it does deserve to be decriminalized.

    Are you pro-choice?
Generally yes, but implying absolutes on the abortion debate undermines how philosophically and morally complex the issue is.

How do you feel about taxes and how they're collected/spent?
I'm not so much against taxation as I am against the fact that the government chooses how to spend that money without any direct feedback from taxpayers. An option to say, earmark my tax money for improving public education instead of funding another war, whenever I file my taxes would be a huge step towards the eponymous principle of "government for the people and by the people".

    Socialism, capitalism or communism?
Capitalism because I believe the Free Market promotes the highest quality goods and the most competitive prices and wages. As a note, the U.S. currently does not have a free market because the government is subsidizing certain industries and giving unfair tax cuts to large corporations.

How do you feel about gay marriage and the LGBTQ community in general?
I've got no problem with the LGBTQ community and believe they have the right to marry whoever they want.

What is your view on the death penalty?
It should be legal, but only for the most extreme of criminals, and where it becomes more fiscally efficient to do that instead of keep them imprisoned for life.

Would you describe yourself as tolerant of other people's views?
I expect the same kind of tolerance for my views, so why not?

Is it more important to rehabilitate criminals or punish them?
A little of both, closer to the punishment side for repeat offenders.

Where are you from and how old are you? Michigan, United States. 21 year old woman.
Do you have any religious beliefs, and what are they? Very vague agnostic beliefs that essentially claim that God is just the "stuff" that makes the universe go.
Are you for the decriminalisation of weed? ♥♥♥♥ yeah
    Are you pro-choice? Yeppers
How do you feel about taxes and how they're collected/spent? (will depend on where you live) US needs to reduce spending on defence. Detroit in particular is a huge mismanagement of money and needs somebody who isn't a complete jackass running the city. Instead of taxing gas, I recommend increasing income taxes for the particularly wealthy, since Michigan is a heavily automotive-run state.
Socialism, capitalism or communism? (if you had to pick one, and a brief explanation of why would be appreciated to ) Socialism. Capitalism and Communism dissolve into the same thing in a macroeconomic level, because pure Capitalism and pure Communism's end results are having an economy run by a select few. Communism might work if humans were not so selfish, but alas.
How do you feel about gay marriage and the LGBTQ community in general? Go for it. I don't really care and it ain't my responsibility to decide what's right for others.
What is your view on the death penalty? Nope.
What is your view on euthanasia? Yes if the person getting it administered has signed consent.
Would you describe yourself as tolerant of other people's views? Mostly, unless it's unspeakably stupid, like claiming you are friends with the Andromeda Galaxy in your head or something.
And finally, is it more important to rehabilitate criminals or punish them? Rehabilitate them. We all make ♥♥♥♥ ups in our lives one way or another. Punishing people doesn't do anything to teach them what a proper alternative means - it just is a way to seek vengeance.
