Possible for all friends to return? (BW spoilers)

    Hey guys. As you know in the game all the gym leaders and you team up togeather to stop Team Plasma. If the shows follow the game,do you think all of Ash's friends will come back instead? Not for the while season but just to help Ash stop Team Plasma and maybe Team Rocket.

    Brock
    May
    Dawn
    Iris
    Cilan
    and any other friends Ash has met.
     
    I would love for this to happen. I want to see Misty and May again (not Max though) and I want to see what new Pokemon they have (if any). I also think Kirbychu's idea is the most likely.
     
    I want Ash's old friends/rivals to make a comeback during the final showdown against Team Plasma, if it happens, as well as the new Pokemon they may have.
     
    I wouldn't say I wouldn't like to see it happen. But obviously the chances are pretty slim right now.

    Just like Ash493 mentioned, if it did happen I would guess it would have nothing to do to affect the main storyline. Just maybe a small special like the special: Mastermind of Mirage Pokémon...

    Also, I wouldn't guess for it to happen very early. Considering we're in Unova right now, which is supposed to be far away and kind of a whole new start.

    What IMO would be really cool, is a Side-Story episode with everyone meeting up whilst Ash is still in Unova. I would love to see them all without silly Ash.
     
    I'd love it if they brought everyone back. Would be very interesting.

    That would actually be really cool. That would definitely get me back into the animé but I kind of doubt it. A lot of the characters would need slight redesigns so I can't see them bringing anyone back. They'd probably all need the newer eye style (well, besides Brock) and I just don't see them going to that effort. D:
     
    Well we have seen BW special featuring Hikari and Takeshi and Hikari's going to Hoenn so I don't see it coming...
    To sum it up...
    Haruka - Johto or Sinnoh
    Hikari - Hoenn
    Takeshi, Kasumi, Kenji - Kanto
    Masato - He is probably in Hoenn either still at home or competing in Hoenn League.

    So only ones that did not meet and can meet up are Hikari and Masato.
    If it were to happen then I think it will be done after Isshu arc.
     
    I'd love it if all of the characters met up in an episode. I just can't imagine how each one of them would react. What if all the female characters: Misty, May, Dawn and Iris come up all together and fight over Ash?! And then we might just get a perfect shipping moment as well! n_n;

    The only possible chance we've may see all the gang again is at the very very end of the entire show.

    • As mentioned it's a logistical nightmare and too conincendtal for all of them to travel at the exact same time to a region far far away. Not that the writers care about logistics or consistency. They'll just resort to some Deus Ex Machina.
    Even thats optimistic given the writers hate to make any references to earlier series.

    well i always used to dream, that the very last saga, would be some insanely OP region, where Ash brings all of his friends with him, and even his past rivals are in that region too, cuz its just so damn awesome. Even the previous gym leaders, and elite four are in this region as normal trainers.


    Never gonna happen though, but if it did, it would make me the happiest person on earth :l
     
    I think it would be interesting to see Ash travelling companions to comeback.Its always nice to get older character return through some arc to get some update from him and what new pokemon he might have.
    I liked when May cameback in Wallace Cup.

    That said we haven't saw Misty and May for a long time.

    Pokemon 15th anniversarry isn't too far away so i could see them reuniting all of older characters for some special assuming it gets made.
     
    I would really like that to happen, but I don't think it is very probable. Tons of years have passed since we last saw Misty, and if they randomly brought her back, a lot of new fans would be really confused. I fear they have permanently ditched the old characters.
     
    That's a pretty cool idea actually, just one huge meet and greet battle I'd love to see misty back but I doubt that will never happen. They pretty much have everyone fanned out doing something at the moment but I don't doubt someone will wond up running into Ash later on
     
    what about gary? i hope he shows up. i would love to see all the old people come back. but i would imagine it would get outrageous. if it takes everybody to take down team plasma, how would nintendo top that in the next games?

    That's a very intersting observation, the 15th anniversary is indeed coming up (sometime this year I'd believe). That would provide a perfect excuse to do a special episode/movie/ova where the old guys return together for an adventure. It would be non canon of course and being a one off special it hopefully wouldn't confuse any new watchers.

    Well I'll keep my eyes peeled , if they don't utilise this opening then I suspect my initial pessimism would be correct, i.e. No chance whatsoever until the very very end.... well until the 20th anniversary (which ever comes first).
     
    I hope if they do bring them all back, it would be in a special or an arc of episodes, rather than in just one episode, because I would fear they would then focus more on certain characters and ignore the others... I want all of the characters to get a chance to shine.
