The Story So Far…



Legendary Pokemon – the mythical entities unique to each reason. Astonishingly powerful, each possesses the kind of strength that far outrivals an average Pokemon's.

As you would expect, it is the ideal ambition of any powerful trainer to witness or even interact with such a majestic creature – at least once in their life. To come face to face with a legendary Pokemon is a thrilling prospect and no doubt a dream for most, but for the majority a dream is all it will ever be.

Legendary Pokemon are just that. Creatures of legend. Ethereal beings. They play no part in everyday life.

Your opinion is, however, swayed when you receive a message to visit the Spear Pillar in Sinnoh. You're a trainer. It's your duty to go. Whatever awaits, you braced yourself for this from the moment you selected your started Pokemon. You're entitled to oblige this request without asking to many questions. So you go.

Even for you, the journey was somewhat of a struggle. But you persevere. You reach the summit unscathed.

The man before you, no doubt bearing traits of the supposed 'Creator' of all Pokemon, opens his mouth to speak.

"Yes. It is true. I, and every other 'legendary' Pokemon, have become part human. Though aesthetically we have changed, we still retain our minds – and, more importantly, our powers. However, I am at a complete loss in a world that is now strange to me. That is why I have summoned you. All of you. You are all powerful trainers in your own right, I know. I need your assistance – I need you to recruit the others – the other legendaries. They are scattered among the regions in many different places. I-" here his eyes well up – he is lost, completely lost.

"I am afraid I am not yet used to this new body. This world is unfamiliar to me now. But I must do what I can. I know this isn't the worst of it. A greater threat is yet to come. That is why I'm urging you to help me. Bring the rest of the legendaries here – for we must talk. Will you take this challenge?"

You glance at the trainers around you. There are seven, eight of you. Will you take this challenge?

Yes, Arceus, I will assist you.

You are a powerful trainer – you've won many battles and believe you are the correct type of person for this job. You must convince the legendary Pokemon to return to Spear Pillar as urged by Arceus, using any means necessary. It won't be too hard – will it?

Arceus has explained this could get crazy but you're up for it. You're up for anything.

We will fight together.

Do you possibly believe you would be better off by yourself? Or do you appreciate the extra help? Your teammates will either help or hinder you, it depends how you all mesh together. This congregation of people – an assortment of distinctive personalities. All of you are powerful, no doubt, but it takes more than just power to convince the legendary Pokemon to come over to your side.

To save the Legendary Pokemon

Even partly human, Arceus clarifies, the legendaries are still crazy powerful – so be careful. They will not submit easily. They will play mindgames with you. They will bully and torment you. They are unreasonable. They will not listen to you. They are psychotic. But all of this, absolutely all of this, is for the greater good. Good luck. You'll need it.

Episode 00: In which you are introduced to Arceus and informed of all this. Each episode will center around a legendary (possibly more than one, depending…). I will give the title of each episode in advance – this will give a clue as to which legendary you will be traveling to recruit.

• Though it's important your trainer is powerful no OTT gods or anything like that. It's important to have a well-balanced, realistic team.
• Do NOT start to roleplay without my permission otherwise you will get a warning.
• If I find something wrong with your profile – be it grammar, spelling or actual content, please try your best to correct it without arguing.
• I want to make this RP as interesting as possible - please give your character some kind of interesting, dominant character trait – I don't actually mind clichés =3
• There are EIGHT places available but I will wait until I have a few applications before I continue – I plan on this being a somewhat decent RP so I'm selecting those with the best SU sheets. Yes, you may reserve spots but your profiles must be up within three days.
• As I will be controlling the legendaries I do not have an actual character of my own. Though psychotic in their own right, I will try to keep them reasonably IC.

TEMPER: Kris has an odd temper. With some people, he can control his temper perfectly. With others, he can hardly help ripping their heads off and destroying them in some extremely violent way.

NAME: His parents named him Santa. No, really. His full name is Santa Clement Johnston. He doesn't like his name very much, but he wouldn't feel comfortable going by anything else after seventeen years of being stuck with it.

AGE: Seventeen.
BIRTH DATE: December 24th.
BIRTHPLACE: Sanyou City.
FAMILY: Well, let's see here. His mother, Elizabeth, isn't all that bright. Or, at least, Santa doesn't think so. She's a spur-of-the-moment sort of person who tends to act before putting much thought into things. Hence why she decided to name her kid "Santa" on the basis that he was born on Christmas Eve. She also can be quite stubborn and forceful, which he never enjoyed much. Despite his apparent dislike for her, Santa would have to admit she's very caring when she isn't having a fit or rushing into a crappy idea.
His father, John (yes, John Johnston), is a hardworking businessman who spends most of his time at his job. He's stern and serious for the most part, though he's gradually become a bit more laid-back over the years.
Santa has three siblings: two younger sisters named Mary and Charlotte, and an older brother named Stephen. Mary is currently still in school. Charlotte's been a Pokémon trainer for about a year. Stephen is in college.

HEIGHT: 5'7".
WEIGHT: 112 lbs.
HAIR: Chocolate brown and a bit fluffy; unremarkable.
EYES: Gray with a faint hint of green.
DRESS: Contrary to his unfortunate name, Santa hates red and green clothes, and refuses to wear them. He prefers mellow shades of blue, gray, and yellow. He'll usually wear ordinary jeans or sweatpants... sometimes multiple pairs of sweatpants. Coats, sweaters, and jackets are typical of him, even in the summer. He apparently gets cold easily. And, of course, he has a belt on which he keeps his Pokéballs.
APPEARANCE: Santa is pretty damn ordinary; there isn't anything particularly noticeable about him. He's a bit on the skinny side, as he doesn't usually eat much. His skin is pale. His teeth are a bit crooked; his mom forced him into getting braces when he was little, but he complained so much about them that she eventually gave in and took him to get them removed.

DOMINANT CHARACTER TRAIT : He's an introvert. He tries to keep to himself for the most part... and often fails to do so. Being a Pokémon trainer makes it pretty hard to avoid dealing with people. This doesn't stop him from trying, though. He'll battle strangers, and he may have a small conversation or two, but when it gets any deeper than that he becomes awkward and standoffish. It's not that he has something to hide or anything. He just isn't very comfortable with showing others his actual emotions. Over the course of his life he hasn't had much experience with that sort of thing. Thus, he goes out of his way to be as blunt, neutral, and unbiased as possible when dealing with people, whether he really has an opinion about the matter or not. Strangely enough, he sees nothing wrong with this.

SECONDARY CHARACTER TRAIT: He's kind of an ass. Some would think, based on his reclusive nature, that surely he's just a troubled kid who'd really be happy and fine and dandy if he'd just open up... Well, not exactly. Underneath his antisocial behavior is a layer of negativity. He focuses more on being irritated and pessimistic than much else. Even if he were more comfortable with expressing himself, he wouldn't have much to express besides dull negativity. On top of that he doesn't really care all that much about other people. Sure, if he got to be "friends" with them or something he would, but... by default, he generally couldn't care less about others. He's not really a horrible person or anything, though. In the end he means well; mostly for himself, but he certainly doesn't want to upset or hurt anybody. But he's noticed that it can be difficult to avoid upsetting or hurting people, whether he means to or not. This may be one of the things that makes it so hard for him to develop any sort of relationship with other people.

TERTIARY CHARACTER TRAIT: ((HE NEEDS ANOTHER ONE DAMMIT~)) He keeps moving forward, regardless of the circumstances. If he's stuck in a situation, he recognizes that he can't just sit and do nothing about it. He'll grudgingly and slowly push his way through if he has to.

SEES SELF AS: He doesn't think very highly of himself. In fact, he doesn't think of himself much at all. Though he is fully aware of his flaws, he sees them as pieces of who he is; things he cannot alter or correct. Thus most small errors or mistakes he makes are dismissed as being the usual for him and thus unimportant. He doesn't hate or even mildly dislike himself or anything. He just... doesn't particularly care for himself. As a Pokémon trainer, however, he greatly underestimates his skill. He's actually a lot better than he thinks he is. Thus he was extremely surprised when the legendary Arceus summoned him of all people.

IS SEEN BY OTHERS AS: Often, either a socially awkward reject or an insensitive dick. Both are partially true, of course.

SENSE OF HUMOR: He's got a pretty dry sense of humor. It'd be very difficult to find something that'd make him burst into hysterical laughter, but instead he's just mildly amused by certain things, such as his own sarcasm or clever puns. "Stupid" or "immature" humor annoys him half to death, though. You know, perverted comments and "randomness" and whatnot. The way he sees it, stuff like that comes from people trying too hard to be funny. Humor is only "real" when it comes naturally or unintentionally, in his opinion.

TEMPER: He doesn't really have much of a temper. If something starts bugging him, he'll just loathe it silently or grumble to himself about it. He doesn't get angry. He just gets irritable or annoyed. Even if you poke fun at his name (one of the things that pisses him off most) he'll merely glare at you and eventually forget about it. His irritation is one of the few "feelings" he'll make apparent somewhat often.

BASIC NATURE: Introverted and negative. :|

HABITS: He has an awful habit of sniffling repeatedly when he's got a cold or stuffy nose, whether he's in public or not. This can be obnoxious as hell. If he's holding or looking at a piece of paper for a long time, he gets the compulsive urge to dog-ear the corners.

TALENTS: He's intelligent when it comes to logic and tactics. He's also a quick thinker when he needs to be. This especially applies to Pokémon battles. He can whip up strategies within seconds and execute them almost flawlessly. This is what makes him such a worthy trainer. However, he gives himself little if any credit for this and underestimates his abilities.

WEAK POINTS: He's uh. Just generally not very good with people. His aforementioned difficulty with conveying his emotions is his biggest issue. It's pretty damn hard to relate to other people if you can't even tell them how you feel about things.

WHAT TRAIT WILL MAKE CHARACTER COME ALIVE?: If anything, as strange as it sounds, his general lack of enthusiasm and absence of life will probably be what makes him stand out. Generally he's cold, apathetic, antisocial, and irate. His few redeeming qualities will help him when he has to step up to the plate and actually do something, but for the most part he's just gonna be sulking about. He's sorta comparable to a dreary, rainy day. The mood is dull and lethargic, but it's still got its own sort of feel to it, if yanno what I mean.

Santa wasn't exactly excited about becoming a Pokémon trainer. In fact, he didn't want to. When he was eleven his mother was just about fed up with how her son didn't really do anything. Every day was exactly the same as the last with him; he'd nonchalantly proceed through his daily schedule and slump around the house. So she gave him a few Pokéballs and told him to go. Just... go. Have fun. Go on an adventure. Do something. He was reluctant, but he did it. He found that being a trainer actually brought a bit of light to his life. Instead of going to the same old school every day, he got to venture wherever the hell he wanted. Instead of waking up early in the same old bed every morning, he got to sleep in as late as he wanted and awake to find himself in a forest, or on a mountain, or at a beach. But the best part was the Pokémon. Santa's team of Pokémon quickly became his closest friends, even though it'd be kinda hard to tell at first. Though he often treats them with his usual dull attitude, he shares a close bond with each of them. ... Also, uh. He gave all of them pronouns for names. He noticed he'd done it with his first few Pokémon unintentionally and eventually decided to just continue the theme. This can, of course, get confusing as hell at times. Santa doesn't really care.


SPECIES: Murando.
NICKNAME: You.
DOMINANT CHARACTER TRAIT: You behaves in a dignified manner, holding himself high and marching along proudly. ... Yes, marching. He does not walk, and he most certainly does not scamper. He goes about with excellent posture and even makes sure to keep his feet in a specific time. If you harm his pride, however, he will suddenly lose his tact and respond with an almost psychotic fury.
ATTACKS: Odor Sleuth, Take Down, Roar, Reversal.


SPECIES: Baokkie.
NICKNAME: Me.
DOMINANT CHARACTER TRAIT: Me is laid-back to the point that he doesn't really care about anything. He just sorta goes along, lazily enjoying life at his own slow pace. His apparent apathy reminded Santa of himself, hence the nickname.
ATTACKS: Flame Burst, Yawn, Amnesia, Crunch.


SPECIES: Rankurusu.
NICKNAME: It.
DOMINANT CHARACTER TRAIT: It is a bit of a ditz. She's intelligent, sure, but she doesn't often think very hard about things. So she acts kinda derpy. She's thickheaded and easily confused. Give her a minute or two and she'll figure things out, though.
ATTACKS: Psycho Shock, Recover, Dizzy Punch, Trick Room.
OTHER: It has the ability to use telepathy... sort of. She's only recently developed the skill, and on top of that she isn't very good at putting sentences together. When she does use telepathy she'll just spout a few disjointed words. Most of the time she can at least manage to get some sort of a meaning across.


SPECIES: Roobushin.
NICKNAME: Him.
DOMINANT CHARACTER TRAIT: Despite his large and intimidating appearance, Him is actually a nice guy. He puts others before himself and often goes out of his way to offer help. He doesn't like causing harm, even in battles. ... However, be careful not to tick him off, as he has a rotten temper.
ATTACKS: Scary Face, Superpower, Rock Slide, Bide.


SPECIES: Pendoraa.
NICKNAME: Her.
DOMINANT CHARACTER TRAIT: Her is extremely friendly... when she isn't being frightened half to death by everything that moves. She scares easily, often curling into a ball or running and hiding. She's very attached to Santa and the rest of his Pokémon, so she can be clingy with them. But once she actually gets used to someone she's very affectionate.
ATTACKS: Screech, Poison Jab, Agility, Rock Climb.
OTHER: She's big enough to carry Santa on her back. He'll often ride her when crossing rocky terrain, as she can move nimbly over boulders and use Rock Climb to scale steep inclines.


SPECIES: Maggyo.
NICKNAME: I.
DOMINANT CHARACTER TRAIT: I believes he is the most magnificent being in existence. He considers himself majestic, invincible, dazzling, timeless, even godlike. Countless attempts to silence his ego have been made, and all of them have failed miserably.
ATTACKS: Thunderbolt, Muddy Water, Flail, Fissure.

EYES: Louis has big, dull green eyes. His pupils are small and his gaze is piercing.

OTHER FACIAL FEATURES/OTHER APPEARANCE DETAILS: Louis has thin eyebrows that match his hair color. His ears are of average proportion and size. He also has high cheek bones, and a defined jaw line. He is very thin yet he is very strong somehow. He has lanky arms and legs. His feet are average size. Hair: (I assume we can use anime hair colors) Katrina's hair is long and straight, and it is a perfect periwinkle color. Due to the fact that it is very thick and there is a lot of it, Katrina's hair is usually pulled down by gravity so straight that she can't curl it, although she really wants to. Katrina is sure to keep her hair trimmed neatly about three inches above the line of her pants. Any longer than that and it would get split ends and turn gross. Finally, Katrina has bangs that hang down just to her eyebrows.

Eyes: Unusually, Katrina's eyes are more of a turqouise than a blue or green like most people seem to think. Or maybe thats just Katrina telling herself that she's special.

Birthplace: Katrina was born in Pewter City, Kanto.

Other Facial Features and Appearance Details: Pale skin, thin lips, painted nails to match her eyes... what more is there to say? Oh yes, of course. Nothing. And to think I wanted to make this section a little longer than the others; to pack on the detail... oh well.

Dress: Katrina wears a white sweatshirt with two blue lines going down either sleeve; the sweatshirt also has a hood. The v-shaped neckline of Katrina's particular sweatshirt is quite low, so you can see her shirt below. Depending on the day, Katrina will wear a pink, purple, blue, green, or even occasionally a black shirt. She only takes off her sweatshirt when she needs to wash it. The sweatpants that Katrina wears match her sweatshirt, but she has multiple pair of these. How gross would it be if she wore the same pants every day? Answer: very. Finally, Katrina wears grey boots. A little like uggs, but with a more techy-kind of hiking boot sole.

Dominant Character Trait: Katrina is rather stoic. She never seems to show any emotion, whether the situation be the most exciting thing ever to happen or the most horrible feat that has ever been witnessed. Well, I guess she is stoic in most occasions at least... she can get just a tad bit mean...

Secondary Character Trait: It is no exaggeration to say that Katrina is a neat-freak. She is very particular about where she wants to put her belongings. As a trainer, Katrina carries around a silver backpack with the same blue lines as found on her clothing, and she always has it so neatly organized that it would drive some people crazy. Oh, and one more thing. You. Do. Not. Mess. With. Katrina's. Stuff.

Family: How horrible life must be for Katrina with her three younger brothers. Timothy is the youngest at seven, and he is thrilled by contests. Multiple times has Timothy asked his mommy to take him to a contest, but such requests are usually in vain. Perhaps little Timmy will be a co-ordinator when he grows up. Cody is a little older than Timmy at eleven, and he is a decent trainer with two gym badges. Cody's current location: no one really knows. Probably somewhere in Sinnoh where he was last seen. Good thing he has pokemon with him. The eldest of Katrina's brothers is her twin Marcus. Did I say that they were her younger brothers? Well, younger by a couple minutes at least. Marcus never wanted to be a pokemon trainer and so he helps his parents with their work. The family has moved around a lot because both Mr. and Mrs. Wallison are field archaeologists who get a change of station quite often. From the Ruins of Sandgem Town to the Ruins of Alph it seems that the Wallison family can't travel enough.

Sees Self As: Katrina thinks of herself as logical, smart and calculating, like Spock from Star Trek.

Is Seen By Others As: A wannabe Spock from Star Trek. Oh, and people find her rather mean too. Quite mean indeed.

Sense of Humor: Katrina has an excellant sense of humor, though she wouldn't be caught dead laughing.

Temper: Katrina is not often angered, however, when she is she will unleash her full fury on whatever pathetic squirming creature has chosen to insult the mighty Katrina Vixen Wallison!

Basic Nature: Stoic and logical. She is good at solving puzzles and enjoys to do so.

Habits: Katrina has a nasty habit of going crazy on anyone who touches her stuff. She also has more normal habits like nicknaming her pokemon and then shortening said nickname to a nickname of a nickname (if that makes any sense at all).

Dominant Character Trait: Sherlock was not only given its name because it starts with the same letter that he is shaped like, but because it seems to think of itself as if it was Sherlock. Sherlock is an excellant battler dispite his limited movepool.

Benji has an older sister, Irina. Benji knew that Irina was sweet, and just precious. But, at age 11, she came down with an unusual illness. She was prone to psychic outbursts, and she was frail most of the time. These powers have made people hate her, so Benji has protected her all his life. Then she mysteriously disappeared at the age of 16, when Benji was 14. Benji vowed to find her and return her safely, which was part of the reason he became a Pokemon Trainer.
SEES SELF AS: A hero! He is confident in his abilities, and he will save the day for everybody, and then everybody will love him! He also thinks he has awesome fashion sense.
