Since when did a blue name, just a few shades off the default and the title "Moderator" make us popular?

People seem to hate me now that I'm a mod because I have power and can close the poor little n00bie threads. -_-;;


And we've had the debate before... mods can run.



ANd what's this thing about preferences? I'm lost...

We run paired to somebody, and whoever gets the smaller amount of votes gives it to their partner(unless it's a 1-2 finish)

I don't think that it should be allowed, because you didn't say that in the 'How it'll work' part of the post you made with all of the rules.

There's no rule against it, and since we're officially in mid-campaign you can't put in a rule against it now either. You can rule against it next time but not this time. *could bring in a lawyer*

Sarah and I have a preferences deal, since we are the only Aussies left.

MODS you already have a color name so just drop out, you already have more access then us regular members.

If you win you should be de-modded because that is unfair to be both a MOD and PC President

And still to some people this election is a big deal, who aren't as lucky as you to be modded.

There is no difference between a mod and a member except one thing:

As a member, you are free to take a vacation and not make a peep on here. We can't. We have to make a topic about it in the lounge, and make sure that there will be someone to cover for us when we're gone so that a forum isn't left undone.

Take a look at ROM hacking. What would happen if all the mods in there suddenly stopped coming? The entire place would turn into chaos. But we don't suddenyl disappear, we make sure there is someone to cover for us. That's showing responsibility.

The President title won't make us turn away from our jobs, we're dedicated and that's why we have them. All the president title will do is give us a chance to get rid of this fugly blue and fugly "Moderator" title. Nothing else. We will still be there to mod over our forums, and make sure that members follow the rules.



As for the topic, is there a date you guys would like to see the final election start? Erica apparently wants to dump rest of this on me. ??

What I was trying to get at is this................

There are over a thousand people that have joined PC 100+ are usually at one time during the day.

Do you know so many of those just dream to be a MOD or win anything or actually have a ADMIN or Big Webmaster talk to them?

The small people are what make a forum so rewarding and great so I was trying to say that maybe this election should have been more directed to the little guys and see how popular they get.

I set you a little challenge, Master Blaze. Go to the Breeders Corner. Now, you see all those lovely stickies? I want you to read each every single one of them, top to bottom (bear in mind the TM Breeding chains is not finished yet). Now, when you can write something of that level of quality, detail, and with that level of dedication, can you be considered worthy to be a moderator.

Back on topic. When are the votings starting, I'm sure a lot of people are eager to vote (and for me, eager to get this out of the way).

Can we see this thread ASAP, please? :) I think it's long enough for most people who has been here for at least half a month to know about it. If they don't, maybe they are sleeping or just uninterested.
As for me, I can't wait to cast my votes. Maybe it could be within this or next week.

The rules were set down to state exactly how this will work. Since it's not part of 'How it'll work', the election will not permit it(hence the reason why JKaizer called it How it'll work, because that is How it'll work!! XD)

The President and Vice President will have a bigger PM boxes, colored names (Chose by the President) and a title, like the Moderator under Mod's titles. And of course, the ultimate part, you can brag to the other members that you got voted into office. And no, you don't get to be a mod... but hey, you get the title. And we all know that's the best part of being a mod.

Wish that a President wasn't just only of those value --;; Shouldn't a President be some sort of a PC ambassador?

You mean a person to symbolize PC? Well, with a title like that, representation would come naturally. All of the newbies would think PCP was the owner of PC or something XD
